I have a condition which leaves me at a loss with names. This is difficult at best. In no way intentional & it's not great fun to deal with! Installation of my new brain~June 11. They are incredible & knowledgeable employees. 2 powerhouses who deserve a big $$raise$$! They assist as soon as free & I receive 100% attention whenever I visit. Cameron was energetic, engaging, and effective, both in helping me process the toner recycles that I brought in, and in quickly recognizing that she'd serve me best and most efficiently by asking her coworker, Derek, to undertake my other concern, which was a monitor's return. Derek was outstanding, patiently and persistently drilling down through the aftermath of my possessing neither a receipt nor more than a vague recollection of when I'd made my purchase. He was very inventive and improvisational in pursuing various electronic paths of investigation, ultimately ascertaining what I'd purchased, and when! I recently visited the Exeter location to print out some architectural floor plans in 11x17 format and in color. I was experiencing some difficulties with the self service section. A male associate from the Copy department came over to assist. He went over and beyond and uploaded the drawings and flattened the drawing layers so they would print. It took approximately 20 minutes and he was patient and friendly during the entire process. Three hours after leaving staples I returned to purchase a power cord for my iPad stylus. I needed assistance with selecting the right cord and was helped by Mary, and associate working the front refrigerator. She made sure I purchased the right coord. Great service! read more

I used Staples to ship stationary-bicycle parts to Colorado for repair. I was told it would take 3-4 days and charged $41.00. When I got home I noticed that the suggested arrival time was 7 days from shipping date. Sure enough, it took an entire week plus a few hours to arrive there and the package sat at the local UPS locale for at least a day with no movement (I tracked it). Next time I will not trust the verbal promises I receive at Staples and will try to find a cheaper, faster shipper. Bad experience. read more

Needed to replace my old ergonomic keyboard with a new usb model to connect to the new PC. Website showed one on sale and that the store had two in stock. But darned if we could find one, let alone two. A young staffer came to our aid and found one up on a shelf. He said someone probably took down the display though he didn't know why. More room to sell the higher value products per chance? Whatever the reason, his assistance was very helpful. read more

I've had great experiences with the copy center at Staples, but not with the customer service or check out!! Especially when it comes to "pick up at store" and/or internet orders! Their tag line is that your order will be ready in 2 hours, and admittedly I usually get a call or email to say my order is ready within that time frame, but it takes on average another hour to get the item once I get to the store! Either the item is listed under the wrong name, it hasn't been pulled from inventory, it's been reshelved, or there isn't anyone there that has a clue about how to do an internet order or a "pick up at store" order. Yesterday I ordered a memory card online to pick up at the Stratham store today. I got an email from the store saying my item was ready to pick up very soon after I ordered it. Today I went to get it and it took four people 45 minutes to find the item AFTER I waited in line for 15 minutes and then I had to get back in line to see the one cashier who knew what paper work needed to be completed!! I kept telling them I just need to show my ID and sign the receipt!!! Even I know that and I don't work there!! I don't know how other Staples are, but the one in Stratham is pathetic!! read more

Had a battery replaced in my iPhone and now the volume button doesn't work and the screen has problems. It's stuck on high volume. The phone worked fine just had a battery that wasn't lasting as long as it used to. The cheapest price isn't alway the best choice. Pay extra and go somewhere else. read more

Store is messy, understocked and poorly staffed. Calmly waited by the computer i was planning to buy for one of the kids to stop yucking it up with each other but they couldn't be bothered. I needed to print boarding passes and the copy/print center girl was so helpful. Even had her on the phone helping me figure out the way to save & attach my file from home before I drove back to the store. Very reasonable printing rates, would definitely use the copy center again, but I can see why other reviewers were disgruntled. The rest of the staff seemed to be under 20 and more interested in texting and chatting than in working. And fair enough. Who liked their shitty hourly high school job? read more

The customer service people here are nice, it can be slow at times and the products are priced rather high. I think Best Buy has better price and wider selection for electronics. I'll go here if I absolutely need office supplies in an emergency but other than that I don't come here very often. read more

Apparently they are now on hyper-alert and won't copy anything resembling a book FOR ANY REASON unless you have permission in writing from the original author. I work in publishing, so sometimes I need to print out manuscripts for clients, and sometimes they do have a copyright symbol, because they're already all set up for publication. (I'm doing a pre-publication review.) This location of Staples has always printed the manuscripts (one copy only) for me in the past but suddenly claim to have no record of this (how convenient for them). I had the email from the publisher assigning me the job, but that email wasn't "proof" enough for Staples that I had permission to print it vs. "transmit it" (their words). They are following the law to the letter but not applying common sense. Why would I be willing to fork over $50-plus dollars (not counting $15 extra for "express") to print one copy of a book that's already pre-listed on Amazon for under $20? Also, considering I had the PDF, why would I even want/need a print copy if I had illegal intentions? What would I do, sell 300 people one page each of a really long psychology review? Jumping through Staples' hoops and tracking down the author would have jeopardized my deadline. In the end, the publisher (the ones on the email) printed it out and Fed-Ex'd it to me, but I was embarrassed to have to ask them to do it. Won't be sending any material to or making purchases from Staples again. read more

The cashiers are nice enough, but the lines are long and if you want help finding anything, you're pretty much out of luck. Their printing and copying services don't support Mac files (as the b*tchy woman behind the copy center counter rudely told me), which is rather short-sighted on their part, given the uptick in the popularity of Macs. read more

had a good experience with the current staff. returned a printer that we had for a couple months that had malfunctioned, sean and the manager replaced it for us with a new one and were very accomadating even though they didn't have to based upon corporate rules and timelines. this would make us want to continue to return :) read more

Bought a defective mouse. (That's on Apple), Tried to return it to customer service and after waiting at the customer service desk for a few minutes the cashier said I would need to get in the line where purchases are made. The only problem was that there were 20 people in line and by the time he told me that, ten more had gotten in line. Called "James" the "store manager" swhen I suggested that they put a sign on the customer service desk so people would understand this he said said there was nothing he could do. read more

If you want to make a copy or print a file go some place else. If you dont happen to come in while Michelle is working then good luck with any type of customer service or knowledge of printing. Ive placed orders online and come in 20 minutes before they should be ready and been told there is no way they can print it until in 20 minutes when the scheduled time for it to be ready is... I'M standing right here!! If I walked in with the file on hand and asked for it to be printed... then no problem, but because the order was placed online and I was 20 minutes early it cant be printed?? ok I'll stand on the other side of the desk for 20 minutes while you do nothing until the "scheduled time" is up. The scheduled time is just an estimate. Ive recieved e-mails saying my prints are done hours before the "scheduled time". It all depends on if the lazy person behind the counter wants to do anything. read more
