I am very upset and disgusted at the unprofessional behavior shown by management at this location. I had shipped a package over a week ago, during my transaction a package size of ridiculous proportions(47X16X16) was selected by the service member. I was charged for this size under the impression it was the only box that would fit my item (3 golf clubs in hand). I later found out by the receiver of the package, that the box was downsized measurably(36X6X6). Instead of informing me of this discrepancy and change in packaging, it was ignored thinking to would go unnoticed. After contacting the location on multiple occasions to rectify this situation, I am now being ignored after being told a refund would be made 3 days ago. I have entered the store and been told by employees that management has directed them to ignore all calls and contact as "they do not have an answer." This deplorable behavior and horrible customer service has been reported to corporate and I do expect my refund for the mistakes made and admitted to me by the employees of this location. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service at this Derry location!!! I truly cannot give enough stars, I would be lost without the staff that work here. I frequent this location quite often, and it's a busy one, usually with a max of two staff members. The staff here is beyond professional, courteous, friendly, super HELPFUL, and unbelievably patient! I had Alex today, and per usual, he dealt with my chaos wonderfully. He is such a warm, friendly guy. I actually look forward to seeing the staff here just to say hello. They always remember me, and they are just fabulous. Also, I feel horrible because I'm blanking on his name, but there is a middle eastern young man who has been at this location for years and is equally as wonderful! I really hope UPS realizes what assets these gentlemen are to their establishment and recognize them as they deserve to be. I would NOT go there if not for them, and I'm sure other customers feel the same. With a 2 star rating you'd think they'd do more to improve. A box arrived at my house in shambles. It was a new basketball hoop for my kids. Rods were falling out of holes in the box and the backboard was damaged. I dropped it off here (DERRY branch) and they wouldn't wave the ONE DOLLAR FEE to tape it up. Their delivery caused the damage and took my time to return it and they won't absorb $1.00 for customer satisfaction? He told me his store is a franchise and not responsible for the damage. As a franchise you are a representative of the brand and its a global perception. Anyway, I was less than impressed. read more

Have been shipping at Salem and Derry locations for a few years. Probably average $75+ per week in shipments. On occasion I ship on customer shipping accounts. This has not been an issue until today. I was informed by the new employee that they couldn't take the UPS shippers with manually entered account numbers. I was told long ago by ownership that this would be allowed. Today it is not. I asked for the owners phone number and was told that he did not have it. He texted his manager and she said that they would not contact the owner. As a business owner myself, this is not acceptable. If I had a customer that wanted to contact me any of my employees would certainly give my phone number to them if I was not at my facility. Disappointed to say the least. Nice folks who work here. Every time I go in they're friendly and attentive. Big area of opportunity for them is to update their website to reflect actual services they offer. The website claims they take passport photos when they actually don't. The young gentleman advised the store does not provide that service. This would be an issue to those who might drive some distance only to find out they don't. Or an individual who might be elderly or have mobility issues facing an unnecessary challenge to make it all the way inside for no reason. One could call; however, many will assume what's written on the website is accurate. I wish there was a way to put -5 stars. This store is always so dusty and dirty looking. It only has one employee working at a time and it's usually the same person. Poor employee. I've shipped 3 things out of this place and each one damaged and when I would talk to the manager he would tell me it was my fault for not paying for Anouilh bubble wrap or packing peanuts, excuses me but isn't it your job to tell me how much to buy and tell me if you think it's required. The girl who was at the counter the past two times was very unhelpful kept saying "I don't know it's up to I think it's fine" This place sucks I'm going to find some where new to ship. read more

Previous reviews are CORRECT! don't do business here. i just left here after trying to send a package. it's Dec 10th, 14 days before Christmas and there were 8 people in line with me. The phone rings and it's a disgruntled customers. instead of explaining to the phone customer that he/she is the 9th person in queue and putting them on hold until it was their turn, the counter person (there was only one behind the counter) started tracking their package, explaining what went wrong, told them to come in and get a refund, etc. etc. obviously, they screwed up that person's shipment. the kid behind the counter put everyone who was standing there on hold while going on and on with this one unhappy customer. it's a pet peeve of mine to be physically at a business and the phone rings and all of the sudden, that caller is being helped and now you're on the back burner. a caller is just another customer in the queue and should not take precedence because they called. i will never visit this place again because management hires kids who don't understand making 8 people wait while helping someone for 10 minutes, (who is just sitting at home and called up on the phone) is WRONG. i'm finding the UPS store in Londonderry. bye bye Derry UPS read more
