They helped me with a large print order and were incredibly patient, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer questions, made sure everything was done correctly, and kept a positive attitude even with a complicated order. This has turned into the worst Staples. They essentially don't care that people are begging for money a foot from the entrance. I reported this upon entry and zero response. But, why would I be surprised since they allow transients to park in their lot doing all manner of things that beyond the unsightliness, bring a degree of discomfort to patrons? I used to frequent this location nearly daily dropping packages off for shipping for my small business. That is until the packages weren't picked up daily. Then I used the location to drop off Amazon returns. While waiting in the checkout line for the return (the process was changed with no signage) I again, mentioned how uncomfortable it is to have someone begging just outside the door. No response. Literally. Just a look. What a joke. Smh read more

I got a coupon code for 60% off custom giftwrap printing (87627) when I returned Amazon here, so I thought I'd try it. I am SO impressed with the quality of the printing & the thickness of the giftwrap! Fyi when I ordered, the 60% off offer was on their website. Today for Black Fri/Cyber Mon, their website shows 75% off til 12/1/25. I created the giftwraps I wanted on their website just uploading pics from my phone, & chose my pickup location. Even during the week of Thansgiving, my order was ready in 48 hours! I did place another order & they called me to tell me their poster printer broke so they had to send my order out for printing. My lead time is about a week for that, no big deal. I could have chosen pickup at a different location whose poster printer was working, & I likely would already have been able to get it. They have choices to upload your own design, or use their designs & upload pics. They all came out so cute!! I'm going to do this every year! read more

The customer service in the UPS store here is really poor. The girl working today at around 3:30 PM was not in the least bit interested in helping me. She was rude and strangely was looking for reasons not to assist with what I needed. She is a Staples employee and if she's that unhappy with helping customers, they should not have her in the "happy returns" section. read more

So rude! I am 74 yrs old and needed to purchase $75 worth of ink cartridges. Upon entering I asked the cashier, female with long black and white braids, if I could use the restroom. She responded "not working". I proceeded to locate the ink and a male employee with a red Staples shirt came to the aisle and I asked him if this was the correct ink for my Epson printer. He pointed to the back of the package in the scratched plastic 'security box' and I proceeded to have to take out my reading glasses from my purse, all the while in great need of a restroom to urinate! I then asked if I could use the restroom and he responded 'nope'! I went to the checkout to pay and again pleaded with the same cashier to use their restroom and she responded "there's a gas station across the street"! Apparently, they treat their applicants as poorly as their customers. I applied for a department manager position here and was granted an interview only to receive a subsequent email claiming that I cancelled the interview and, if this was in error, to notify them immediately which is what I did. I never heard back. I can understand a company cancelling an interview, but to blame it on the applicant when they were the ones who cancelled it is just lame and irresponsible. The checkout line moved faster and had I been able to go thru the checkout line I would've been out of the store sooner than waiting at the no line online order pick up counter. Could've been better. Sold me a chair that had two different color arms, though I didn't know it until I'd put together half of it. This was a beast to get home - very heavy box. Once I discovered one arm was black, other gray, I called Staples. They told me to bring it back, return it and buy a new one. I asked (mind you - hour later) if I could just come back with arm and they could swap from another box they said no. Only option A. They told me if they did that they wouldn't be able to sell to another customer. Darn. I thought I was the customer. Also, manager left me on hold for 40 minutes, wouldn't talk to me so I called from another phone - put me on hold indefinitely - still on hold after 2.5 hours. It's a STAPLES brand chair, folks. I like to drop off my UPS returns here (e.g., Amazon and Zappos). Yes, Staples offers UPS shipping. I like this place as opposed to a UPS Store because they have automatic doors. That is, when I carry my package, I don't have to touch any door to get in. The only thing though is you have to print the address label and tape it to the package, and close the package. I have no problem with that. Another advantage to this place is that they close at 8pm or 9 pm on most days. (Please call them or check online for business hours before visiting.) UPS Stores, on the other hand, close earlier, at 7 pm. Service has always been nice too. read more

I've been to this location several times throughout my years of living on the West Side and I prefer this location now even though I live closer to their other store in Venice on Lincoln Blvd. Not sure why people are so negative about this place other than to leave bad reviews. I've never had anything other than great service and tonight was no exception. I recently bought a new gaming computer and have done a lot of setup and situating my space/place. My old office chair/computer chair was having none of it and broke. This was "the day" to get a new chair, have it and move on. I had been intending to buy and assemble it myself. Nathan was passing through the store as I was looking at the chairs and decided on one, and assisted me with the purchase and suggested assembly. I was going to do that myself, but he gave me a good price ($20). I also opted to purchase a protection option for three years (which I normally don't do). However I did do it this time. I thought it would be a good idea because I'm heavier these days and I need this kind of thing for now. The chair should be just fine but that option gives me more peace of mind. Besides Nathan, there was a manager there this evening who helped him I have seen him there in the past and he has been a very helpful person as he has been there for at least a few years. I wish I had gotten his name. I'll be going back as this has been my to-go place for Staples. I do go to the place in Venice, but as close as I live to downtown Santa Monica, on the weekends, it's easier to go to/from the West LA location because of the congestion around here on the weekends. One of the reasons I'm doing this review is so that management can cross-check who was working today as the whole store was amazing. Thank you! I live in the neighborhood but surprisingly this is my first visit. I needed to print 3 copies of something so I sent my Amazon order to the lockers there. What a friendly and welcoming place! I was met at the door with an initial greeting. So friendly. He directed me to the Amazon locker in the back of the very large store where another cool guy employee was positioned. When I made my way to the printing counter I learned my order couldn't be picked up till next day. So while I fumbled with the self printer he called me over and said he'd help immediately this once. I noticed he had like 25 orders laid out on the counter. So super cool and super nice of him to stop what he was doing to help me with my minuscule order. The store is HUGE with everything you didn't know you need like a new gaming chair. In todays big corporate world it's really refreshing to get a friendly smile from an employee. Just horrible customer service in print services division. Unbelievably unprofessional. One agent merely sitting back in her chair uninterested in helping people, another one taking her sweet time, going as slow as possible. That same agent making stuff up about the printer. The manager actually telling me that to just print out a simple .pdf file, I should leave my file and come back in 3 days, because they are very busy?? --- because they were closed "yesterday" as he put it. I went staples located on 2052 Bundy Drive West Los Angeles. I took my desk type computer there. My computer was showing the letter so large that I could not point the mouse on it. I went to tech. services and told this man behind the table my problem with computer. He was very impolite. He grabbed my computer in angry manner. He called his assistance, I assume. Hooked up my computer and told me that this is old computer, and the driver is bad. I need to buy a new computer and showed me what they have and a lot of non sense. Make it short. Brought my computer home, hooked up to monitor and googled the problem. I needed to turn off some location in computer. I did Computer back to normal. These two people there are scam and cheat you. Do not go there. Shame on Staples to hire these people, perhaps they are scam too. Do not go there. read more

I needed a better office chair, so I went to the Bundy Staples - in a few minutes, I found a chair that I liked (and was available in-store). So I looked for someone to get the chair from the back, so that I could buy it. Eventually a worker asked "Are you being helped?" I said no, and he told me he'd be right back. The store had very few customers that early. 10 minutes later, no help. On my way out, I saw him chatting with someone in the office area behind the cash register. I could have ordered the chair from them online, but I didn't feel like giving Staples my business. I found an equivalent chair online at another store instead. read more
