Outside of not being able to communicate with the lady working there, some of the dryers and washers are always out of order when I go there. My last visit was a bad one because the dryers I was using had uneven heat. The top was good during the second cycle but the first cycle left my clothes wet. The bottom one was worse because neither of the 2 cycles dried my clothes. I tried to tell the staffer there but she kept twisting my words and refused to hear what I said. I tried talking to the owner about looking into why the heat source was so uneven only to get the same treatment from her. Every time I go there it is that much more expensive. Only reason for my going there is the laundromat on the premises where I live is out of order.

I brought a dress in for alterations and the manager, Huyen (sp), was extremely rude and aggressive last Saturday when I dropped it off and raised his voice multiple times in the interaction because I said I don't know about the number of inches. his tone and aggressive body language made me immediately nervous and at that point, I should not have left my dress there. I went to pick it up about six days later and was told the alterations were over $100 even though I was never quoted that price and would not have paid that price. And when I express this to the manager again, he became irate and aggressive, raising his voice and being extremely rude. I pointed out issues with the alteration where the work looked a bit sloppy, and he was unable to cope with my complaints and grabbed the dress rudely and said he was going to take it upstairs and show him my issues and when I said, I didn't have time that I would just pay for it, he became even more upset. During this time another customer walked in and and the manager was respectful to this make customer. As a female, I would not recommend using Marina's any longer as you will receive abusive and unsatisfactory customer service. I don't mind spending the money when it's quality work and you receive a modicum of respect. i was shaking when I walked out and realized I was actually afraid the manager may have physically attacked me had the other customer not walked in. The owners need to do better and vet their employees better.
