They arrived right on time and explained their process. The three men got to work and kept me informed of their progress but that didn't slow them down. They were efficient. Vince was great! He was on time and professional and my kids loved him too. He cleaned my hugeeee Costco couch and even though one ottoman was included in the price, he cleaned my second ottoman too at no additional cost. And then he went above and beyond and cleaned my carpet as well, free of charge. He offered spraying a coating on my couch to protect it (Teflon) and he didn't push me to buy it but with kids I knew it would help keep it a little cleaner so I had him add that on. We've been doing a lot of home improvements at the house, and one of the improvements included duct and vent cleanings. After calling multiple places, we decided to go with Star Carpet and Cleaning. Vince Gutierrez was quick to respond, transparent, easy to work with and gave us the best price for the size of our house and number of vents. He also sent us pictures and gave us updates throughout the cleaning process. The air in the house feels cleaner and lighter. We've also been sleeping throughout the nights for the past two nights without waking up half way through. Our sleeps have also been much deeper. We think it might have to do with our vents being cleaned and the air circulating better. We're so happy we proceeded with the service and was able to budget it into our home improvement budget. It's an investment we can't see cosmetically, but it's something we're already feeling and experiencing with our breathing and sleeping. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We have been struggling with allergies and headaches this summer and my mom has asthma. I've never gotten carpet cleaning or vent cleaning done professionally because I have always had apartments or we just didn't have the money for those things... and I was pretty sure there was a chance that if I hired the wrong people I was going to get charged a lot of overhead and not see a difference in cleanliness. This was not the case with Vince. I could tell he was a genuine person and easy to talk to as well as honest. Vince and Thomas cleaned our HVAC, dryer vent, and our carpets. They were very hard working. I was impressed by how friendly and kind Vince and Thomas were. I have 2 little kids and they were so sweet and patient with my kids trying to "help" or asking questions. Our house is drying now and we are all extremely pleased with the clean carpets and the amount of care Vince and Thomas put into their work and explaining to us what they were doing and why, etc. I know that we will be calling again next time we need this carpet cleaned!!! Vince and David were great! Friendly, prompt and efficient. We are moving in to our new home this weekend and I wanted to get the carpets cleaned first. I called Vince on Weds, he came out Thursday afternoon during the time I requested, he was very accommodating. He gave me a one hour arrival window, not a four hour one, and they arrived well within that window. His fee was reasonable and competitive, and he did not charge me a travel fee to come from Elk Grove like others wanted to do. He and David had my 3 bedrooms clean and fresh in about 45 mins. We were listing the house for sale and doing some repainting only to (Yikes) spill a large blob of housepaint on the new carpet we had installed. I spent some time cleaning it up, but of course there was still an obvious stain. A few days later I called Star and they (Vince) came out the same day. Advised me that it was good I went after it right away, but warned me that since it had a 3 days to "set" he might not be able to get it all out. He did a great job, after he was done you had to look close in the right light to where the paint stain was.
