Most of the others were being monopolies by two companies doing commercial laundry. One company hade three employees using the washers and dryers. Also tying up two folding tables and at least half a dozen baskets. Another company had two employees. That didn't leave much room for the individual customers. I even had a lady comment to me that she bet that she and I were the only two there that spoke English. She said she would never return. I understand that from a business perspective this would be great but for the rest of us, not so much.

Something red appears to have bled during the wash, ruining my favorite dress along with several other items of clothing. I contacted them expecting, at the very least, a refund for the service. Instead, I was told that I should have read the labels, that I should know which inks or dyes might bleed, and that it was ultimately my responsibility. They then refused to refund me. I pay around $50 per load specifically because I am paying professionals to handle my laundry properly. I understand that accidents can happen--a button can fall off, or I can accidentally leave something in a pocket. But preventing colors from bleeding onto lighter clothing is basic laundry care. It is not reasonable to expect customers to have professional knowledge of which fabrics, dyes, or inks may bleed. Identifying those risks and handling the clothing accordingly is part of the service I am paying for. What bothered me almost as much as having several pieces of clothing ruined was the complete refusal to take any responsibility for it. So if you're considering dropping off your clothes here, be aware that if something goes wrong and your clothing is damaged, you may simply be told that it was your responsibility to know better. After years of being a customer, we will not be returning. I will also be recommending that friends and family take their laundry elsewhere.

After I loaded 6 loads of laundry (three loads of towels) into the dryers. I put about $15 in quarters into the dryers. Not one of the dryers had heat. I had to load everything into bags and go to a different laundromat to dry everything. Needless to say, I have lost half a day of vacation to this and I'm out $15. We went in and the woman who works there was BEYOND helpful. First off, she came to the door when she saw me trying to bring the comforter in and she opened the door for me. She told me what machine to use and how to use it. She even said she would take care of it for us, washing and drying and we could go next door to the restaurant while it was being done. Hell ya, I'm down with that. I gave her $8 in ones for both washing and drying and we came back over an hour later and the comforter needed more time to dry so I got a chance to talk to this woman who I found out her name was Karen. I asked her "do you own this place" and she said no. I told her, you would think you do because you are so kind and so helpful. I mean beyond helpful, it's just so no 2020, it's more like 1920's helpful which is so nice during these challenging times. If you are the owner of this establishment and you read this review, please make sure you take care of your employee Karen as she is amazing. I wish I owned a business because I might steal her from you to work for me!! She is literally one in a million!
