The best fresh seafood shop in Miami The shop even has sushi bar where you can treat yourself with delicious sushi rolls

I needed some sashimi grade salmon for a virtual Yelp cooking event. Fresh Market had none---the seafood case guy told me none of the salmon there could be consumed raw or rare. Then I remembered there was a kosher seafood market right nearby. I drove over here, asked the nice guy working the seafood section for the kind of salmon I needed, and he directed me to the appropriate one. He offered to cut a smaller slab from the piece on display and advised that if I needed it raw, I probably wanted the skin off, so he also removed it. The inside of the store was surprisingly bright and spacious (maybe they removed some items with the pandemic and distancing guidelines). There is a whole deli case with premade items sold by weight, and there is a refrigerated case with items to grab and go. The deli case is where you can order sushi and sashimi platters and poke bowls. Considering how fresh the salmon was, and how smooth the experience was finally finding something I needed here and not getting sick from it, I know I need to return to peruse the other offerings and try them out! Thank you Krudo, for the safe last minute save.

Absolutely one of the best fish markers. Very customer oriented.. They have a full wine selection so you can pair it with your fish. Online ordering for pick or or delivery. They have plenty of parking outside.

I'm VERY disappointed lately with the quality of your fish. This is not my first time that I've had a rotten fish. Two weeks ago I purchased a red snapper not only that it looked bad, it smelled awful. I had to throw it out because I could not serve that to my guests. Unfortunately, they keep the fresh fish for other customers. Even though I have been going here for a very long time. These pictures I'm showing is the same day. I purchased the fish. It has the date it was sold. So disappointing.

I love fresh fish, but it is hard to find a place without smelling like fish in dirty water. When I wanted to get some good quality fish, I checked Yelp, and here it is. You can't see inside from outside. Once you walk in, the place is clean and well-lit. You can see all sorts of fish in the glass case, but not smell of fish at all! To your right, they have a freezer and a fridge full of different seafood. We wanted to try Poke and ceviche. The order form is by the cashier, and basically, you can order whatever you like to include in your poke. My husband ordered poke with everything! I ordered what I liked. The lady behind the glass case took our order and made them fresh. We paid two bowls of poke and one ceviche for about $50. When we got home, we were wondering how we can tell the difference between our bowels. But the lady wrote it as "He" and "She." It was a nice touch! The bowl looked small, but once you start eating, it's plenty. We both loved the flavor of our poke and ceviche. I already told my fish-loving friends to try this place!

These salmon skewers were so good! The best I've ever had by far! If cooked right they melt in your mouth.

The Seafood here is so fresh! Recommend Krudo to anyone that is into seafood. The good: everything is super fresh the way it should be! They not only sell fresh raw seafood but you can order a poke bowl (which was delicious) and sushi (which I have yet to try). The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The bad: not much to say besides that it is a small place and gets very crowded, so it's hard to manuever. Everything is also on the pricier side but that's fine since you get what you pay for. Check out the images for more details, I will be updating my review once I come back and try the sushi!

Came here for my first time. I called on a busy Friday to have them put grouper on the side for me, and when I got there I changed my mind and took seabass. I also ordered a poke bowl because I saw everyone sitting and enjoying it and I knew I couldn't miss this! When the cashier was taking my Order, one of the fish guys gave a little bit of attitude since I cancelled the grouper order - I get it because you could have sold it to someone else, but I think customer service should be above that especially since he sees a face that is new. I did apologize for canceling the order tho... Anyway. I was going to leave a 3 star because I wasn't too happy with that but I decided to put a 5 star because the fish was SO FRESH I never had such fresh seabass!! The poke bowl was to die for!!!! Will definitely be back again!

It may seem like a lot of $$$, but this piece fed 6 adults & was soooooo fresh & good. Beautiful filet job too!

Krudo came highly recommended as THE place to get fresh fish in the North Miami Beach area. Upon entering the store, you will find fresh fish (not necessarily from local waters) on the left and prepared fish dishes like salmon kabobs and butterflied flounder on the right. I was here for the fresh stuff. At first, I wanted chinook salmon and grouper. But, the grouper was over $30 a pound. So, I asked about the sea bass. Beautiful looking white filets. They were almost $40 a pound. The expense is more to do with supply & demand than greed because both the chinook (king) salmon and the red snapper that I eventually bought were both $12 a pound. And let me tell you as somebody who has plied the waters off of Montauk for cod, took on the challenge of salmon fishing in British Columbia, caught bull dolphin out of islamorada, and survived eating fluke caught out of Sheepshead Bay, Krudo is fricken fresh! The snapper was to die for delicious and the chinook salmon was FUCKING awesome. I can't put it any other way. The chef is only as good as the provisions they use. For salmon at a reasonable price and that's over-the-top good, go to Krudo.

No...nothing like that at all. Mostly frozen tuna from saku blocks.

Does this market sell sushi grade fish, not sushi but just the fish?

Yes. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and other kosher fish. No shellfish or other non-kosher seafood.

A Taste of Hallandale Beach Florida…read more My wife and I were visiting my brother in Hollywood, Florida, all the way from California. Since we had only a short time there, we wanted to experience as much of the local food culture as possible. As we met and talked with locals, one place kept coming up: Fresh and Wild. So, naturally, we had to check it out. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a gentleman who I believe was the owner. We then met the chef, a young woman who clearly knows her way around the kitchen, and her brother, who seemed to be the true "Jack of all trades," making sure everything was running smoothly. The chef took our order: Peruvian fish, black beans and rice, along with a sushi roll. And let me tell you... WOW! The food was sooooo good fresh, flavorful and absolutely delicious. My wife and I literally sat there shaking our heads in amazement at how good everything was. To the entire Fresh and Wild family, thank you for making two visitors from California feel right at home while serving up some incredible food. Your hospitality and the love you put into what you do definitely didn't go unnoticed. If you're in Hallandale Beach area do yourself a favor and check out Fresh and Wild. You won't be disappointed!

We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. They have a tree in the middle that gives it an outdoor open feel. And an incredible wine display in the back. Our waitress, from Portugal, did a great job of explaining the menu to us and guiding us on what to order. We started off with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau which are cod fritters and OMG they were sooo good! These tasted identical to the ones we've eaten in Lisbon. It comes with the classic pairing of black eyed peas which are awesome when eaten together. We also tried the Chouriço Assado which the presentation when its brought to the table is a treat itself. It comes out on a flaming pig and then its sliced tableside. Our waitress recommended trying the chorizo with the piri piri sauce which is slightly spicy and it was delicious. It added another layer of flavor. For entree we got the Paelha Marinheira which was absolutely amazing. First off, its a huge portion and comes piping hot. Each bite was full of seafood. We added the lobster which was perfection. It's great to share between 2 people. For dessert we ended with the pasteis de nata and its great because it brings 2 pastries and we paired it with ice cream. It makes for the perfect sweet treat without being too much. The pasteis de nata is served slightly warm and is perfect with the cool ice cream. Overall great restaurant for some Portuguese cuisine.
