The coaches create an atmosphere so fun and welcoming, you'll forget you're in a gym; you'll leave every session sore, but you'll be excited to come back. The coaches are very experienced and diligent in the workouts and direct 1:1 coaching. The owner, Adam (professional boxer prior to opening Star Method), and his wife are incredibly friendly and supportive, and often bring their 2 adorable fur babies, making it a very welcoming, safe and comfortable environment. The classes remain small (fewer than 6 participants) to ensure coaches maintain the ability to observe and quickly intervene on our overall form. Each of the coaches is friendly, encouraging, and very well-experienced in their craft. I feel very fortunate to have found my coach, Demetri. His attention to detail is phenomenal. If I struggle with form / a specific move, he has the ability to quickly create ways for me to have a better understanding of the why, while improving my overall form. Every 1 on 1 session or class I've taken has been awesome. It's a challenging & fun workout that pushes me outside of my comfort zone. Every coach I've had has been great! They train all ages and levels of boxing. Enjoyed the gym, great trainers and training sessions. But had a trainer show up late 15-20 mins and smelling of weed. 15 mins is no big deal but it was a 5am session. But my big negative was come Covid I had 6 sessions left and once things calmed down and wanted to get back to it. They said that my sessions were gone and they'd be happy to set me up with a new set. Taking those sessions away without any notice was just an annoyance. Sucks cause I really enjoyed the work out, but can't go back to some place that treats customers that way. read more

Just recently I booked my teenage son a one on one training session with Adam. I personally don't know much about boxing, but it's my son's passion and naturally, I want him to learn safety protocols. My son loved the training session, we will book more. Decided to step away from my normal routine workouts and try out the Star Method - and boy did it exceed my expectations! The facility is beautiful and clean. What an amazing workout! My partner and I took an early morning Sunday class with Richard. The class started right on time and since it was our first time, we were provided a clean pair of gloves and wraps. We really enjoyed the small class size, equipment available, and instruction from Richard. He really knew how to push us to go harder but also kept in mind our limitations. Now, a little more than a month later, i'm feeling and seeing the results. The private sessions consist of personal training based on your specific goals with a heavy focus on boxing. I was so happy with the class that Adam put on (and Morgan joined in as well) - it was well organized, tough off the bat, and made me push myself harder than I knew I could. I scheduled a 1-1, 1hr boxing class this morning at 8am and no one showed up. Extremely unprofessional. No responses to any communication.

I've always wanted to try boxing and while I was on break from school I decided to give it a try. I've always held back because I thought I would end up at a gym where I would be intimidated or not get a full experience, so I looked for private training and I'm so glad I found The Star Method. The one on one experience is exactly what I was looking for and Adam and his studio are the best. We focus on boxing because that is what I wanted, but he throws in other strengthening exercises that I really need. I was really happy with my first session because we got started right away. He did an awesome job at teaching me the basics and building on them each session. Adam is so supportive and fun and my sessions always fly by. From the minute I walked in for my first session Adam made me feel as comfortable as possible, from asking me what kind of music I liked to what kind of trainer I'm looking for. I push myself pretty hard but Adam gives me that extra push I need, and he does it with a smile. I feel so good every time I go in, both mentally and physically. I was visiting from Orange County and I was looking for a place to workout. I found the Star Method Instagram after doing a little digging on Google and I immediately wanted to take their boxing class. I am a beginner since I've only ever done a few boxing classes at my gym back at home. This class was much more in depth! I learned all of the fundamentals and really feel like I learned more than I ever did. The workout itself is so much fun and my abs were sore the next day. As someone who stopped working out for a long time and was looking to start training again just to be in better health this place was the perfect blend of getting great training with learning new skills (boxing and kickboxing) from great trainers. From day one each trainer I've worked with or class I've taken has challenged not only physically but mentally. In only a month in a half months I have seen so much progress with not only my conditioning but also the skill of boxing which was something completely foreign to me prior. So if you are new to boxing or are just getting back into working out and feeling hesitant DONT feel that way with this location. This place is a gem for multiple reasons. Yes its a fantastic workout you definitely get your ass wooped! But what i love too is the instructors are legitimate fighters with actual boxing and martial arts experience, not hokey fitness instructors. They put great time and effort into making sure your technique is on point. In addition they really work with your personal fitness level and all ages. As a physical therapist i am very appreciative of the attention paid to preventing injury and fine tuning form so you learn safely and efficiently. Highly recommend trying a few private sessions first (they have really affordable deals going on right now!) before you take the small group classes regardless you get a lot out if it! I'll start by saying anything martial arts related I was not into, at all. My husband started doing jujitsu at the same place Adam goes to, they got to talking, and he realized Adam was starting a kickboxing class, had an awesome Groupon deal going, and thought it would be perfect for me. I'll admit, I was not happy at all. I've stuck to my workout routine for as long as I can remember and was not ready to get thrown into something like kickboxing. My husband will never let me live this down but - I. WAS. WRONG. Adam has surpassed all of my expectations. Seriously. If I could train with him for the rest of my life I would be so content! He loves what he does and it definitely shows in his work. His class is fun, productive, and all around great for beginners to advanced. He never makes you feel like your behind or not getting it and is always willing to go extra rounds if you ask. In my own experience he has never asked me to do any exercise I was uncomfortable with and is always ready to accommodate your needs. His style makes you want to get out there and get better! Since starting his class I've been biking, hiking and everything in between. My diet has become more consistent and I feel incredible! Even my husband went out and got some mitts & gloves and we've been sparring on our off days! If your looking for someone to help break you away from the "workout" routine Adam is without a doubt the guy for you. His class has changed my perspective on working out. It's no longer a matter of "man, I hate this class/gym/etc but I'll reluctantly go because I need to look and be fit to be accepted into the social norms", but rather, "Yes! Class is today!
