Went in for a pedicure & gel X set, their prices are pretty high for the quality of service & quality of nails. I got a "hot oil" pedicure which ended up being a regular pedicure with lotion considering I did pay more for that. Their gel X starts off at 68$ & my nail ended up breaking 3 days later because it was so thin. They did fix my nail but the nail tech almost had an attitude insinuating that the nail broke because it was my fault & not because it was so thin. Overall not going back .

After spending $300 on 2 pedicures, 1 Gel X set. Honestly the service was pretty mediocre, I got French tip & it was cute but my hands didn't even get a touch of some lotion, just left plain dry (I'd say it was because the first color failed) Idk if I'll be coming back for Gel X BUT overall my friend loved her pedi ($125) & so did my girlfriend. I'm just really upset and disappointed that because I didn't like the cat eye the nail tech literally switched up her energy so fast.

In the first photo is the design that I wanted. And the other two pictures they're showing my right and my left hand as you can see the design is not consistent with both my hands the polkadots are very spaced out. It looks sloppy and the other hand of polkadots look great. Don't give me wrong. The workers here are very nice, but the work that she did was not the greatest. She had showed me the shape and it was square like slightly coffin, like barely nothing and then I turn around for like a second and I see that my nails are literally coffin. I won't be coming back.

My daughter and I enjoy going to Star nails for basic mani and pedis. For the most part all the staff are very pleasant and happy to see you, location has a relaxing, elegant vibe, a million nail colors and options, and they have excellent massage chairs. Prices have gone up slightly like everywhere else so I attached a few pics. Shout out to Jill and Megan for their excellent service!

A couple of months ago the nail spa that I loved changed owners. I then was shopping around and found this one. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! My tech Winny is amazing! All I do is show her a pic and she "nails it " The shop is beautiful and you truly feel like you are being pampered.

Had an appointment yesterday We come in every 3-4 weeks, awesome service, unfortunately at checkout we were informed that there is a $2.00 charge if you pay with credit card. And you can no longer add tip to your card Only "Cash" fortunately we had cash I would had felt horrible not being able to tip 4 ladies, as they were closing early and we were the last ones. I suggest adding this to your text confirmation message As well as informing your clients when they make a phone call appointment. And your walking customers!!

I'm actually so shocked. I went in wanting the most basic basic manicure. She soaked my hand in water, cut my really short nails more short, pushed back my cuticle and that was it ( Not even a clear polish) literally just my bare nail. It was $26. I go to a place on McKinley Pino Nails!!! and they do more and even do a clear pink gel and it's $21. I regret coming here, I should of stayed at my regular spot:(

Winnie had horrible manners and rushed through my full set of acrylics which were french tips abd the ends of them were all smudged and messed up then when i asked nicely for them to be fixed she shook her head barley talked the whole appointment and kept slamming the nail dryer instead of nicely asking to switch hands very horrible experience read more

I recently called to see if they had availability for a walk in, and they notified me that they could absolutely take me in now which was fantastic as I was free! They were so kind and welcoming upon arrival and the salon is very clean and well lit. I did the the spa pedicure with sugar scrub and not only did it feel amazing, it smelled great too! They have a great selection of colors and different packages for pedicures. I will definitely be returning. The spa pedicure with the sugar scrub was $43. They accept Zelle/Venmo which makes payment easy. read more

This place use to be good. I would not recommend going here unless you have a specific nail tech you know. The woman who did my pedicure was excellent. My hands were funky and poorly done by the other tech. I was overcharged and my nails were horrible. I'm not someone to complain but tried 2x to tell my tech my nails were not straight or the same length. She said it was fine. "You like it. You asked for short. I'll fix later." No. I've had my nails done a lot and there were just horribly cared for. No cuticle care or trimming. No hand washing before UV coats. Nails were different lengths. Not shaped like the example I gave. I had a nail fall off after 6 days. 6 days! I'm not rough with my hands and now I'm thinking it's because there is something growing under the nail and yellow/green discolored. My nails were beautifully manicured before and natural. They were so long and the tech cut my nails so short my nail beds throbbed. I watched another nail tech do the same kind of nail and they were beautiful. Ask questions. Check your receipt for up charges you didn't approve and ask for a new tech if you're not happy. read more

Very bad experience, poor sanitation. Winnie gave me a cut while cleaning my cuticles before my full set and didn't even care and kept going and tried to rush through the service. I had an upcoming trip the next day or else i would have had them stop the service. And way over priced / rip off pricing $80 for short Acrylic set. Jill did a good job on my pedicure though. read more

CATHERINE is now my go to nail tech!! She absolutely slayed this valentines set!!! ‍ I had been on the search for a nail salon since moving here a few months ago and I would go to different salons that were recommended but none of them were good at recreating the designs I wanted or some even struggled with doing a French tip but let me tell you about Catherine!!! She was recommended by someone on Facebook and I am SO happy I decided to give this place a try! I was sooo nervous because the set I wanted included so much detail and design. As soon as I showed Catherine what I wanted she got to WORK and made sure to look at every single little detail in the pictures I showed her and she did not miss a thing!! I could not stop smiling while she was adding all the details and flawlessly recreating the design! I was already in love with my nails before she even finished. I cannot stop looking at my nails! Ive come here a few times and each time its always something. I never leave 100% happy with my hands or feet being done. I paid $140 total for my hands and feet. Got the "cheapest" pedi with gel. The gel on my toes is very bumpy and uneven. A lot of it is already peeling off due to it not drying correctly. My fingernails are decent. I did get gel x and i know for whatever reason its more pricey than anything else. I never am truly happy with how my fingernails come out. The shape is usually never how i want and the color is now kind of see through so you can see my actual nail underneath. I just feel like paying $140 is a bit pricey and if im paying that price then i expect pristine work. I kept coming back because of how nice the place is and figured it would eventually get better. But its only gotten worse and more expensive. read more

Second time I had Kevin for my manicure and once again very satisfied. He is pleasant and efficient. Rose spent a lot of time on my toes and on my ingrown toenail (thank you). Lovely job & very mindful of any uncomfortableness I may have experienced, which was none. My second visit. I recommend this shop. read more

I had really high hopes given some of the reviews and how cute the salon looked outside and inside, but I was highly disappointed. I asked for long coffin pink French tip as you can see in the picture the nails were shorter than I expected and before cutting, she didn't confirm with me how long I wanted, my nails the nails are also very round and not a sleek coffin shape, which disappointed me. It was most likely not the shape i wanted because instead of having a long coffin gel x form, they had a stiletto that they made into a coffin shape. I think this place has a lot of potential I think their staff just needs to be more skilled unfortunately I had the nail tech Natalia so I can't speak on behalf of any of the other text. The tech while doing my nails was taking phone calls the whole time and then left her phone on the table, clearly trying to call a person with the contact name, daddy which was just funny. She also invaded my personal space when I sat down the chair was already at a specific height, which felt comfortable, but then she like came over and adjusted it lower for me, which I could've just done myself if she asked. The tech also when putting on the gel X nails put one of them on my nail bed as well it made a very uncomfortable. The set cost 105 which is pretty pricey given the quality and the service at the end when charging out I was asked if I liked my nails if there was any changes that need to be made to them I was already pretty tired and disappointed already so I didn't bring up my concerns which was my fault read more

This nail salon is very over priced. $95 for gel X is ridiculous. If there was more time my daughter would've gone somewhere else. She will not be coming back for another set, nor will she recommend this place to her friends. Word of mouth is free advertising. read more

I wanted to do Gel X. They didn't have shape. (Round medium) she said lets do square and she will file it. One of the reason I like Gel X because they don't have to "touch it" She put sooo much gel on it. If you see on the picture i dont even know how to describe the top of my nails. I spent $75 and I end up going somewhere else and have them take it off. read more

Catherine is a hidden gem! She is so kind patient and understands the assignment every single time! This was my 3nd time getting a full set from her and man, she just keeps doing better and better. If you are looking for detailed nail designs, please request Catherine. As for the salon itself, it is very clean, with a great atmosphere. Always love coming here, after moving from Orange to Corona it was hard to find a great nail place. I'm so glad I found Star Nails & Spa, all the nail techs are excellent and everyone is really nice. If I make an appointment I'll usually request Katherine for Hard Gel manicure or Linda for Pedicure but honestly they all do an amazing job. If you make an appointment and want both nails and feet make sure to tell them you want it done at the same time because sometimes the nail techs are busy and can't accommodate it right away. Never had an issue with this before but it's a great tip just in case you're on a time crunch. read more

I was in search of a local nail salon (I just moved to the are) so glad I found this salon! Everyone was so sweet and kind. I had the pleasure of having Chloe and Tiffany do a full acrylic set with a pedicure spa. I had great conversation and they both where very transparent with providing prices before moving forward with any add ons. I really respect that! The whole salon is very clean, they have you wash your hands when your arrive and use a check in system, with points! Chloe delivered exactly the fresh tip I asked for, I'm very particular. I'm giving 1 star because of the poor quality and high prices for mediocre nail services. Our nail technicians were rushed and the final product is worse than if I did my nails myself. There is bumps along the nail line from where they didn't put the coats neatly. In addition the customer service is poor. The greeter was looking at customers nails and laughing as she walked by. If the prices were cheaper then it would be easier to walk away feeling like you get what you pay for. Instead you leave this place feeling like you got ripped off. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and don't know how it's possible to have 4 stars. read more

Don't even waste your time coming here. I went in and told them what I wanted. The guy at the door immediately told me that in fact was not what I wanted and I wanted something else. I was going to give it a chance. But then I was seated in a seat. And not even helped for probably 30 min. No updates on when anyone was coming to do my mani. They just kept seating people with no staff for service. And no communication. I walked about. Don't waste your time to not get service. read more

Heads up! They now charge a $2 fee for using card and they don't accept Venmo or Zelle anymore. This is pretty high...especially since my service was $15 for brow wax. Disappointed, as I'm pretty sure the card fee for a $15 transaction is minimal. read more

The service here is amazing... I received a full set and deluxe pedicure I was still getting my nails done after Linda gave me the best foot massage ever for a full 10 mins I was so relaxed. I'm a girl who needs a extra toenail and she made my toes look so natural. Catherine is so careful with my nails and gave me an amazing design idea... when I say star nails has every color I mean that from gel to gel x to dip powders this is the place to be. I will be here every 2 weeks faithfully!!!! read more

I've been coming here the last few months and I have to say I really like it!! Every time you come to check in, you are asked to wash your hands before going to select a polish. They have a wide selection of colors, with so many shades of each! I love this and hate it because it makes it soooo hard to pick! It's all so cute. The interior is clean and modern. Usually I come in with an appointment and I never have to wait long. There's been a hiccup in my appointment, but I was happy as everyone here seems to do a good job from my experience!! Definitely feel like this is my go to spot! read more

Just got a full set gel acrylic and a gel pedicure and let me tell you, my hands and feet look and feel amazing! Linda did a wonderful job with my pedicure and treated me well with a callus scrub and massage. Kristine gave me so much attention, asking along the way if I liked how my nails looked and if I wanted anything different. It was not gentle, a little rushed even, and the sugar felt cold on my skin. There was a whole lot of powder and she said the sugar was sticking to me and tried with another sugar. After the appointment, there was a lot of hair left that I had to pluck at home. My previous experience with sugaring has been great and I was expecting a different outcome, which is why I was disappointed with the results. The price was ok but with how much hair I had left over, I would have been better off doing a wax strip at home instead of paying for sugaring. I felt like the supplies did not look as sanitary as I expected either. The room was a little dusty, the sheet did not smell fresh, and the towels were a dingy white. If you need a quick fix, this is the place to go. If you're looking for a quality service that lasts longer, this probably won't be what you're looking for. I'm disappointed because the previous reviews are what brought me here.

I arrived at 10:03am and was told it would be a 30 mon wait...no biggie so i went to tan came back with 10 mins to spare..20 more mins go by and i start to notice people who came in after me with no appt get seated(at least 6 people) i was finally seated at 11:22am she started taking off my old polish and then disappeared for 15 mins, at this point I was literally about to walk out. She came over and apologized and I expressed my frustration. Finally at 11: 37am someone sat down to do my nails and I cant even relax or enjoy it because I am so annoyed. She gave me $10 off for the inconvienence so I will try this place one more time but if I have another bad expierence I will never return read more

DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS. I found this nail salon last year and I have NEVER gone anywhere else since. Every time I get a new set, Catherine never disappoints me, in fact her work is so impeccable that I can't stop admiring my nails. She takes her time and pays attention to detail to do your nails exactly to your liking. They last long too. Before this nail salon I wouldn't get my nails done often because it's so hard to find good ones but I am so glad I found this one !! customer service is amazing too, very friendly and welcoming always!! I come here 4 days ago to get my gel-X done. The lady do my nails her name EMILY . I think you can't believe she made my gel-x in 20 minutes, the polish color was uneven, there was a lot of glue under my nails, and I paid for short gel x nails $85. I came home and my nails fell out within 3 days. If i could give 0 star i would. This is my first time and my last time come to this salon. Will never comming back!!!! read more

I hadn't gotten a pedicure in so long and my last couple have been almost violent leaving me with cut up toes lol, but she took her time and really did a great job. I got gel and she convinced me to get my calluses removed, which I definitely needed gone. Only $5 extra. So in total besides tip I paid $40 for gel and callus removal. Very reasonable to me.
