I was getting my nails done at star nails located by the Publix on state road 60 in lake wales Florida and before the male nail tech (the owner, may I mention) could finish my nails he clipped them off because I was " special and needed help" he continued to say I was "too much to deal with" and kicked me out of the store. Before starting my nails I showed him a picture of what I wanted and after he filed my nails I asked him to file them a little more because they were fat and he said " don't show me a picture of what you want and then change the shape". I simply just asked him to file it more, then I asked him if he could do the French tip pink over with a second coat because you could clearly see the nail underneath and he said " the nail will pop up if I do a second coat" I told him I didn't care that I would like a second coat. As he was doing the second coat the French tip was uneven and not a little uneven, It was clearly very visually uneven! When I showed him and asked him to fix it he grabbed the nail clippers and began to cut and kick me out! Very unprofessional. I would not recommend spending your money in a nail salon that doesn't meet the needs of their customers. And especially because the man, sorry boy, doing my nails was in charge. He sits right at the front desk and that's where his nail set up is as well. I re-entered in the store and screamed at him as I was so frustrated. DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE !!!!! read more
