I'm not from here. I live in Cincinnati. Whenever I am here to visit my mom I will be stopping here EVERYTIME! The care that the technician put into my service was not like anything I've ever had before. I asked for a pedicure but she just kept doing stuff. Although , I would highly recommend Christine and Angel. I returned to have my gel removed and the young man (didn't get his name), is horrible. He's first chair, right side as you walk through the door. He used a 'mini' spatula to remove the gel,no soaking...nothing...hurt like hell!!! WTH. 'My' pedicure polish...I sat at the nail station with my feet/legs in his lap for him to remove the polish. AGAIN, WTH. My nails were destroyed behind his antics. Don't agree with my 3 star rating. I personally wouldn't go here anymore. They told us they could take both my fiancé and me at the same time and so then they started my pedicure and my fiancé was left soaking in the water.. Apparently there was another employee that was supposed to come that could work on men's feet... neither of the two that were present would do his pedicure. The other employee never showed up! I told them from the very start that I'd rather wait until later in the day if they couldn't do us together now. Long story short, he never got serviced and I paid for a pedicure that was definitely subpar! I told her of my ingrown that went unattended and the paint chipped hours after the session because the polish was so deluded. When I originally moved into the area just over two years ago, their reviews were phenomenal and now they're rated a 2.5... It's no surprise! I've been there once, and now that was my last time. I'd much rather drive to Lake Wales and see my old location than deal with this garbage! read more

I used to come here daily because one of the nail techs was awesome! The owners ended up working her to death and she went elsewhere. Today I decided to come in because I have a trip coming up and this location is convenient. Well the two owners are working and one other girl. Maybe they would have more employees if they treated them with respect. I've been waiting an hour to get a manicure. If I didn't have this trip, I would have left 30 mins ago. A friend recommended this place to me. The first time I came, I got a pedicure from a man who didn't speak or understand any kind of English. The pedicure was horrible, he used the pumice on the arch of my foot where there was nothing, I asked for gel nails multiple times and he didn't understand, my nails were all chipped by the first week. I got a natural looking full set from Anthony (who is the person my friend recommended) and it was really good even though I realized they were a little uneven when I got home but it was an easy fix with the file. The second time I went, I didn't bother getting a pedicure, I decided to get the acrylics off and since my nails were grown out, get gel polish. Anthony was on the phone with someone (FaceTiming) the whole time. He didn't soak my nails at all before taking them off so it kinda hurt and he broke one of my nails. He ended up having to file them down shorter than I wanted because of that. I assumed he knew what he was doing since last time he did a pretty good job, but when I got to my house, I realized there were bumps all over my nails, the polish was all over my fingers, there was a corner with no polish on one of my thumbs and the top on one of my middle fingers. I went to get a pedicure at my usual place the next day and the lady told me it looked like he didn't put enough coats because there were spots on my nails. These pictures are from the next day. I'm never coming back. If it weren't for the pretty good full set I got the first time, I would only give them one star. read more

I had the worst pedicure of my life today at Ivy Nails. The gentleman who gave the pedicure could not speak one word of English. He was very rough, cut my cuticle and hurt me numerous times. He did not know how to grade my heels so I had to wait for another person to do it. He did not rinse my feet off after washing them. He used ice cold water. He kept answering his personal phone while doing my pedicure. It took him 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish. Then had the nerve to charge me $25. I called the manager after I got home and he said "sorry" but never offered a solution for the bad experience. You got my money for the last time! read more

i went in on my way home from some errands to have a quick color change, but all they did was literally change the color. typically at other salons they just do a little of filing to even out the length of nails, but I was told that's only with a pedicure, and the girl seemed displeased that I didn't want a full pedicure (id just gotten one two weeks ago). They also asked 3 separate times if I needed my eyebrows waxed- you'd think I have a unibrow or something. I won't be going back which is sad because I live right across the street and the salon itself seemed nice:/. read more
