Im really picky when it comes to my nails if something isn't strait or there's bubbles or if it's streaky or too THICK I can't stand it. I LOVE how the husband dose my nails, I can't find any mistakes they don't lift and he cleans up underneath nails so that way it's nice and neat and he dose them super fast and freaking perfect. I used to like checking out other places but now I don't have to search everywhere for good nails. I always come here and they are so sweet and always do their best to fit me in!

The owners were incredibly friendly and kind. We watched some very strange news stories, and it was fun to just have a human moment with someone. The manicure was spectacular, as well! These pictures are after 2 WEEKS! That's right! These pics were taken 2 weeks after I got the pedicure. I don't pamper my feet really either, just a little foot scrub every couple days in the shower. Not only was I amazed at how wonderful my pedicure was on day one, but this is the ultimate best pedicure I have EVER had (and I've had very many over the many years of my life lol, at 63 years now) Just moved to Vancouver and hit the jackpot choosing Star Nails. So blessed by the shop too, really nice people! read more

I needed a solar fill and was trying out Star Nails for the first time. They did an amazing job. They corrected some thickness the previous salon had done, but didn't make any negative comments about the previous condition, just put their professional touch on my nails. They look gorgeous. No pain either. I'll definitely be back. read more

The owners are warm and friendly, they do a very professional job. I get solar nails, they always come out beautiful and smooth with no rough filing edges. The color is always on my nails and not all over my fingers. I very much appreciate their personal approach as they speak in English to make their customers feel included. If you want great nails at an affordable price this is the place to go. Don't be put off by the seedy hole in the wall looks from the outside. This place and the owners are gems! read more

I got acrylic nails done here and I LOVE how they turned out. The staff is super friendly and I had no wait time and got a full set done in under an hour. They will always check and make sure you're satisfied the whole way through. For the price, I'm super satisfied. I paid $38 for mine. For acrylics you can pay as little as $27. Salon also has very little smell of polish. read more

This is my favorite place to get my nails done. the staff is always so pleasant and nice, i always feel welcomed when i come in. I like this place because there is never a line and I never need an appointment. Its a small hole in the wall kind of a place that not to many people know about, which makes it very relaxing when getting a pedicure. I am happy every time i leave there and i know my nails look great. read more

Came in for my appointment and was barely greeted, no one told me to sit down and it would be a few minutes or gave me the colors to pick from. So I just sat down and waited. 20 mins later I was finally greeted and given colors to pick from. The shape of my nails is off and it looks so weird. The sides have gel polish dried on them that no one cared to remove. Polish already seems to be chipping. Didn't seem very clean either stations looked dirty and unsanitized. 3 stars because tech was nice and price was good even though this set doesn't look as clean as I would prefer. read more

I went here for my first time today with a friend and we were getting a reg nail set. They pulled our hands around aggressively and filed down my real nails so much that it's very painful to do anything. As bad as that was the nails were also pretty crooked as well as the color options were limited and they left bubbles in the nails. While sitting having my nails done I saw multiple bugs crawling and the pace was very dirty.I will never go back and I do not recommend it. read more

Which I thought was nice, because cross contamination happens more at salons than you might actually know about. For a full set with design and gel top, it came to $63. (Not including tip) I want to say this also included a nail file and buffer. State of Washington requires you must bring your own or you will be charged for a new one. I went here for the first time today! I had my gel redone on my natural nails and am the happiest I've been with the outcome. It isn't the fanciest place, but the quality of their work is important. I will be returning when it is time to redo my nails! read more
