Wasted 15mins standing in line, they don't accept UPS or FedEx bar code returns here. There is not sign at all stating this.

The other store in Star presented some problems for me, so we have been coming here. I'll be up front and say that, prior to the last two times we have come in to this UPS store, I was happy. It's easy to return Amazon packages or ship my own packages. The time before last there was a very long line. One customer was taking a long time for his transaction through no fault of his own, and another, elderly customer was moving very slowly and running every card in his wallet multiple times in order to pay, which made his transaction take way longer than it should. Meanwhile, there was a third cash register (and a third clerk) who did nothing to alleviate the congestion. Today we came in for an Amazon return and to mail an 8x11" manila envelope with a thin catalogue type profile. My wife asked for the least expensive way to send it. The young lady quoted $16--for it to be shipped UPS. She did not offer USPS postage, which is what we wanted. My wife was confused. She hadn't asked for USPS but did ask for the least expensive. I think this young lady should have be intuitive enough to realize that USPS is the least expensive: $5 vs $16. She was very nice, however, and the situation was quickly clarified when my wife said that she would just take it to the post office and the young woman then offered that option. So, just putting this in my review so that these young clerks can be properly trained to offer all the options available, UPS or USPS.

They are polite and the last time I had a script printed, I found the sweetest note slipped into my script from one of the employees. It's rare in this world for people to take the time to do things like that and it was very much appreciated. I'm also amazed at everything else they do aside from printing. Check out what they offer and see if you can come support this business! Well done, Copies Plus!

Still strolling down memory lane, we came across a family book pertaining to my late grandma's side…read moreof the family, the "K" family (a very German moniker I might add). Flipping through the book and my renewed interest in discovering more about my family tree made me want a copy of my own. Mind you this was a spiral bound book filled with many interesting facts about my family, heck I was even in the book since it was first published in 1985. Grandma recalls having this book bound before by the team at Copies Plus so we went down to place an order for yet another book to be created. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and accomodating. He looked the book over and agreed he could do it the same way. I think it took roughly all day for them to do it and we picked it up the next day. The book was exactly like the other and I couldn't wait to get home with this to discover more about my family. It now sits proudly on my coffee table and with many thanks to Copies Plus and of course Grandma!

The self-service machine was broken and the line for the single worker at the front counter was literally, out the door! I wanted this package mailed today. I checked the Yelp App and found a place near my next stop called Mail Room and More. It is in the heart of the Karcher shopping area north of I-84. I made a bee line for the place. It sits in a small strip mall that could be easy to overlook if you were not sure of where you were going. But I made it there with time to spare. Turns out the "and More" was a coffee shop with lots of little snacks and baked goods on one side and the shipping area on the other side. The staff was so nice and even though it was few extra bucks to mail the package I didn't mind because the convenience was worth it. I then remembered that I had another shipping issue with a large, flat 3 by 4-foot mounted quilt I needed to get to Michigan. I tried to ship it via UPS the day before but was quoted over $500! I knew it would be an expensive shipment because it was oversized, but I did not think it would be over $500, I expected $150 to $200. The ladies behind the counter started looking for an option for me and came up with one for $175. Right in the ballpark! It was even Fed Ex! Those ladies packed that big flat thing right up and got it out on its way to my Cousin in great time. While I am in Nampa handling my Mom's estate I will shipping more things, and all those things are getting shipped at the Mail Room... and More!
