But we are in the number one tourist destination in this country, if not the world, and we should embrace our good fortune of having all of these touristy things to do basically in our backyard. There are storm trooper, derth vader helmets, of course a bunch of styles that of light sabers, some are really expensive collectible versions. There are unique pins, magnets, toys, apparel. Prices are high since it's in a tourist spot. I only bought few collectible pins. Several associates work in the store, helping customers with products and checkouts. Cute stuff, but my three star rating is because it is so small. In California, when we went last time, their Star Wars store was very expansive, and in an old Rainforest Café. This one was tiny. While my child did get something here, we did not find as much as we would have liked. It was absolutely packed. If you're a Star Wars fan, you'll probably love this store. As a longtime fan who bought the old school toys a long time ago in a city far, far away, I will say this store was a little disappointing. There wasn't too much different here than was at the World of Disney store at the other end of Disney Springs. So you have your choice of one ENDOR the other. They could totally deck this out and make it it's own destination for those who want Star Wars March but can't make it to Hollywood Studios to go to the real park. They don't need a Droid Builder or anything, but at least be on par with the coolness of the Lego store. It's not terrible, but not as cool as some of the other Star Wars stores I've been in. So happy to have this Star Wars Galactic Outpost gift shop in Disney Springs! It's right by the entrance you come in from the riverboat drop-off/pick-up point, so it was one of the first shops we saw upon entering Disney Springs. Given that this was the first spot we were visiting to start our week off with at Disney, we hadn't been to any Disney parks yet, especially not Galaxy's Edge. So in comparison, at the time, this shop was filled with abundance!! In hindsight though, it doesn't hold a candle to all that you can get within Galaxy's Edge! But for the time being, it really got me hyped to visit Hollywood Studios and finally immerse myself in Galaxy's Edge. They had the Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite Star Wars bottles, which I was planning to pick up anyways as souvenirs, so I was glad to grab them here and take them back to the hotel room and get that stored away so that I wouldn't be carrying them around all day at the actual Galaxy's Edge! Appreciated the convenience! Nothing else really spoke to me here, but I was glad to look around at all they had to offer! I would recommend that unless you know it's something you'll definitely want, wait until you've visited all the gift shops at Galaxy's Edge before committing to anything here that offers more "variety" like ears or apparel and the like! read more

Super small overpriced Galactic items that you can buy elsewhere for cheaper. Really surprised about the small selection and the less than stellar set up. I wanted more Star Wars items and props and less of that cheap pop up feel. They had items that you can find at your local Disney store, so unless this is close to you, I wouldn't venture to this outpost just for the merchandise. I would have loved to have seen more tshirts and clothing and less cheap build a lightsaber stuff which took up half the store. read more

This shop in disney springs has a wide range of products that are related and inspired by the star wars universe and movies included in said universe. They have many different products such as shirts, jackets and even socks. Some of my favorite clothing options here are any of the "dark side" products that have Darth Vader or Kylo Ren, as well as some really cool socks. I bought a pair odlf BB-8 socks that actually light up when you take a step! The cast members here are also very friendly and will go hunt around the store to find something you may be looking for, or even go into the back and search if something is not stoked on the shelves while you are there. They also have some adorable plushies of even some of the oddest looking creatures in star wars history. One of my favorite things I have bought here was a magnet shoulder sitter of a porg. You place the magnet under your shirt and it looks like the creature is sitting on you! Absolutely adorable! Prices are generic as they normally are for theme park gifts and you even get a discount if you are a passholder for Disneyworld! One of my favorite stores on Springs property for sure! read more

They even have an area where you can make a light saber. Pre COVID experience I spent part of our WDW visit looking for Baby Yoda pins but they only had one while we were there and it wasn't what I wanted. My boyfriend and I ended up going into almost every Star Wars shop including this Galactic Outpost. It's a pretty small store but they had some fun things including Star Wars costumes and outfits, plenty of non Baby Yoda pins, a build your own lightsaber area (just a plastic one, not like the versions you can make at Galaxy's Edge), etc. We ended up buying some pins and a super cute BB8 rice krispie treat. I didn't expect that treat to be good at all (prepackaged treat thing didn't seem like it'd be that fresh or tasty), but we ate the entire thing on the flight home and it was awesome. The larger store is Star Wars Trading Post which was created when The Void took over some of the space from Once Upon a Toy. There are two other places you can buy Star Wars merchandise at Disney world and both are in Hollywood Studios. Tatooine Traders when you exit Star Tours carries lower end merchandise like T Shirts and make your own light sabers and Star Wars Launch Bay carries high end art work and collectibles. What is great about the Galactic Outpost is it offers a nice selection of both high and low end items. You also don't need to pay to get into the parks to shop here. At this store you can find t-shirts, 3D wood models, mugs, jewelry, hats, costumes, key chains, phone cases and toys as well as expensive art pieces. Don't forget the Porgs, those adorable guys are everywhere. You can also make one of those custom light sabers here from $26.99 to $46.99 or buy Rey or Darth Vaders for $150. This store is worth checking out solely for their customizable magic bands! Yes magic kingdom has a few including the gift shop connected to space mountain, but there are not nearly as many choices for Star Wars themed ones. Learn the lesson from me! On our first day I went to magic kingdom and customized a Kylo Ren magic band with grey background and my name printed on it. 20 minutes later it was ready for pickup. There I was all proud and geeked out. But on our fifth day we discovered there were so many choices available at Hollywood studios outpost! R2d2 . bobba fett! Woe was me! There was a cool Lea silhouette as well. So awesome! Yes it may just be a magic band. But you can come here and make it a special edition magic band with your fav Star Wars character! This store isn't a whole lot, but it is somewhere where you can find pretty much all of the Star Wars merchandise in one place. They have a 'Build Your Own Light Saber' area, where you can create your own, plus they have multiple pieces that look like a lot of the famous jedi's sabers. The stuff in this store you can find almost anywhere else, however my boyfriend and I did snag some cheesy Han Solo and Leia shirts in here that we didn't see anywhere else. In the back corner, there is also a little photo area where you can get your face put on the body of some of you favorite characters. After a Star Wars themed night the other day I have Star Wars on the brain. This shop has all things any Star Wars fan could ever want! It's so fun looking at it all! We had a ball trying on hats and dress up goodies! The reason I personally think a stop here is great is because of the build your own lightsabers! So fun!! While yes, you can find them around the parks at the stands and gift shops outside the rides, I would say buy them here. The main reason is because most likely you're headed right back to your hotel room after time spent at Disney Springs and can safely store it. Because of their size they can become a real hassle carrying them around the parks and figuring out what to do with them on the rides. If you're a space aged intergalactic warrior, then I may have discovered the perfect business for you! While I was walking around Downtown Disney today I managed to discover a variety of businesses that will truly cater to the child inside of you. I've always really enjoyed the Stat Wars series, so when found that Downtown Disney also featured a unique Star Wars themed store, I got extremely happy! I walked into what I thought would be a disaster and messy shopping experience, but was pleasantly surprised by a rather organized business! For the most part, the Disney stores around have been extremely messy, so when I noticed that this place was rather well out together, I got a bit excited. Fans should be stoked about all the amazing toys and gadgets that this Galactic Outpost has to offer.
