The Yirgacheffe coffee was incredible, so smooth! It is from Ethiopia--the birthplace of coffee. The food menu is vegetarian (no meat served) The noise level was perfect, indoor seating is plentiful (no outdoor seating), and parking is plentiful in the lot in front. In the restroom, the toilet was a bidet. I wish the menu were in a larger font to make it easier to read. I feel coffee shops in general need ample storage to keep supplies and clutter out of sight of customers.

I placed my order online (the fees and tax and tip made a $5 chai latte come to almost $9 though but I think that's just the area) and the woman working waited until I arrived to make it so that it wouldn't get cold. she was so quick though! and while I was waiting, I noticed some packaged French cookies that were vegan so I ended up grabbing some of those and they and the latte were both delicious! and the woman was very friendly and helpful. I think I've found my spot! I will definitely be back and am excited to check out the grocery store and other menu items.

Wake & Take opened in 2020 and was built to be more than that a café with a European feel that doubles as a true community space. And honestly, that's exactly how it comes across when you're there. The coffee is so good. Smooth, rich, and consistent every time. It's the kind of place where you stop mid-sip and go "okay yeah... this is it." And the treats? Just as strong. Everything tastes fresh, not overly sweet, and actually complements the coffee instead of overpowering it. You can tell there's real intention behind what they're serving. The Hawaiian motif found around the place is just about as Hawaiian as it gets. The general vibe of this shopping strip is already laid back so that's how it felt even inside. The interior is inviting with a couple prints from Hawaii. One picture reminded me of Kailua while another one is a picture of a lifeguard station. I ordered an iced MacNut Latte. It was definitely tasty and made to order. I also ordered a chupacabra Bonfire burrito. Overall I enjoyed the experience and will be back soon enough.
