Worst java chip frap I've ever had. Was -completely- void of any ice chips when I got it, and essentially room temperature. Nasty. Hm... Now wait, let's give them a possible defense, my boyfriend DID bring it all the way from the inside of the starbucks to the car, where I was sitting, so maybe in the sweltering Maine heat it melted on the way. This was one of the better Starbucks I have been in. For example, the music was at a tolerable level, not blasting you out of your chairs. The service was good, and at the drive thru they had no problem with my sister's order of a 3 Splenda Vente Wet Cappucino. I never heard of such a thing! I got a seasonal eggnog latte, and after I had been there for a while, one of the staff went around and offered everyone a sample of a seasonal peppermint latte, and a peppermint chocolate donut. I loved the two-sided fireplace, the comfortable seating. While I was there, the place was host to a man's bible study group, and every other available chair had someone with their computer, and a lot were studying there. No pressure to hurry and make room for more customers, and this was mid-morning. I enjoyed my visit to this place more than I thought I would. read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks I have been too. The crew is slow. Very slow. Drive-thru, no matter how many cars, will be at least 15 minutes, but usually 20 or more. They keep you waiting at the speaker to order for several minutes before they even acknowledge your presence. Drinks are expensive! I am so done with this Starbucks and frankly, any more price increases, and I'm done for good. Very frustrating experiences at this SB. read more

I frequent this Starbucks often to do homework in a more pleasant and mature atmosphere than on the college campus. The staff is most always pleasant, and inside it's spacious compared to almost any other Starbuck's I have been to. There are about 10 tables to sit at, as well as 6 plush overstuffed chairs and a couch around a beautiful fireplace. I've never had a drink made bad here and the one time I got the wrong drink they were very pleasant about correcting it immediately. The drive-thru is convenient but it's narrow and the location isn't great. Also, there isn't much parking, I have often found myself having to park across the street at Toys "R" Us and walking over which isn't a big deal if the weather is nice but it could be better. read more

My favorite place in the entire world! The pink drink is the best drink ever. The prices need to be lowered, although the drinks are very very good! The seating is well put together, and the space is just the right size. The bathrooms are very very clean and they also have 2 or 3. Love all of their green tea favor products. If you like sweet, green tea frappuchino is great. As for someone who doesn't like too sweet, Green Tea Latte is definitely my favorite. Since I have recently start cutting down caffeine, my other great option is Green Tea Lemonade. read more

Over a year ago I would have given this location 5 stars, but this past year the quality has taken a severe nose-dive. I want to say first that my rating has nothing to do with the staff whom I have interacted with (except one that I will explain in a moment). They have all been super nice and have always fixed my order. They even fixed one order that was my fault (although it was at least partially the mobile apps fault). The problem for me is very simple. I like cream in my coffee, breve if it is a cappuccino. That's all. Should be simple. But sometimes I get what looks like cream with a splash of coffee. Sometimes I get milk. One day in particular my coffee looked nearly white (4 out of the last six days had too much cream at this time). I went in and pointed this out to the girl I believe to be the manager and she actually argued with me and told me I should order my coffee with light cream. I was honestly shocked for a second before responding that I have been a customer for years and have ALWAYS ordered my coffee the same and have never had such a consistent problem with getting too much cream in my coffee. She continued to argue with me saying that is the normal amount of cream. I pointed to my nearly white cup of coffee and told her this was not a normal amount of cream. She proceeded to take my coffee and began to remake it making comments under her breath. Very irritated at this point I told her she "could go ahead a remake that coffee without all of the extra attitude". About three baristas heads snapped toward my direction and hers at this point. The sad part is that they all looked very pleased with the fact I said this to her. I may be mistaken, but something tells me she is the reason for what seems to be a low state of morale. Most recently, my wife and I have become addicted to iced cold foam cappuccinos. Both of us like cream (breve) in our cappuccinos, not milk. When we first ordered them we were told they cant foam breve, they need to use milk for the foam. This is 100% OK by me and my wife, the important thing was putting breve in the cappuccino itself. However, this seems to be the cause of great confusion and have led to the writing of this review. I order my cappuccino exactly like this. "Vente Iced cappuccino breve". My order has been wrong 50% of the time. I am just very tired with having to go back in and have them fix it. It is exhausting to constantly look like the jerk. Yesterday I went in and I could hear one barista telling the other barista to make sure she put breve in the cappuccino because the customer likes likes it with breve (She was being very nice about it btw). I believe this was in response to the fact I had come in a couple of days before and was, to my discredit, quite rude about the fact they had messed it up despite repeating the order a couple of time. Clearly, I now have a reputation. However, this reputation does not seem to help with getting my coffee done correctly. The only thing that keeps me coming back to this location is simple. It is the ONLY location (besides the one in target which is not even open at 6:20am). One thing I have noticed is that the turnover seems to have increased quite a lot over the past year. Maybe just due to the nature of the business, maybe due to the manager I mentioned above. One can only guess, but if you look at some of these other Yelp reviews, it does appear that I am not the only one to notice the sharp decline in the past year. My suggest to Starbucks/Owners would be to do something quickly. read more

When I've gone here it's always been by myself and the staff is mixed with mediocre employees, hard working employees, and very friendly employees. Never really had too much of a problem until the last time I went. There was about fifteen of us. Some of us good friends some of us I can't stand. We had a good time, good drinks, good service. We stayed until close and I threw my trash away and went to the bathroom while everyone was leaving. When I came out it was like all hell had broke lose. A couple of the girls I was with were throwing their trash away and an employee came whizzing out and whining while cleaning up the dining area. Some of the guys in our group who are habitual slobs left there trash behind. The employee starts hollering about how she has a serious lack of faith in the 'youth' today and spits and rants at the top of her lungs in front of a few customers. I looked into her face and said "You know what? It was wrong of those guys to leave the area in this condition. But you're going to stop talking now and your going to do your job." And like that we left. My friends wanted her name so I went back in to order another coffee so I could ask the cashier what the woman's name was. I don't think this was an isolated incident and that employee really had no business working in service industry. If you're going to work with the public you're going to have problems. I was cashier at a local maine restaurant and new it was difficult at times to keep my mouth shut but I did it. She should have been fired for such an outburst. read more

This has been our go-to coffee shop ever since they first opened many years ago. It's definitely one of the nicer Starbucks locations that we've been to, and we've been to many over the years! This Starbucks is quite a bit larger than some of the other Starbucks that we've visited. There is plenty of seating, including several comfy leather chairs surrounding a large, double-sided fireplace, which they always have going during the late fall and winter months. There are also plenty of outlets to plug in your laptop or charge your cell phone. Their wifi is usually pretty fast, but it depends on how many people are using it. I love the atmosphere here. It's very relaxing and has a very urban feeling to it. They always have the typical coffeehouse style music playing softly in the background, which is a nice touch. My husband and I have racked up many hours here over the years. It's a great place to come if you just want to veg out for a while and enjoy a good beverage and/or pastry. read more
