I go to this Starbucks whenever I am in town visiting my parents. Like other Starbuck it's always busy. This last visit really upset me but after tweeting to Starbucks about it I heard from the manager who was very apologetic and open to hearing my complaint and making improvements to avoid it happening to others. Not once did she get defensive which is speaks volumes to me. My original complaint was, I mobile ordered a drink to skip the crazy line (that's the point) just to find the door to be locked. What made it frustrating was the bright neon sign outside stating the lobby was open. After speaking to the manager she explains why it was locked and I suggested the bring in the sign from the road so others wouldn't get the wrong impression like I did. In general I think Starbucks should link in the app the pick up options because when on the way to work or on a lunch break 5-10 minutes in a line makes a difference. All in all I will return.. My posted is not intended to deter people but to make you aware mistakes are made but they were more than willing to make it right. read more

I enjoy having a Starbucks in Beaufort! Location is great! Staff is fairly new and for that they get a great rating. They are always willing to make sure your drink is perfect, and they always strive to do their best. For a new store, with new everyone I think they are doing well. Super busy all the time, but fairly good. Outdoor seating is great and the views of the marsh are beautiful. Clean restroom. They do run out of food items quickly, hopefully this gets resolved. read more

Very SLOW! I use drive-thru and it usually take about 15-20 min. At least their coffee is consistent.

After reading the the other reviews, I realized that everyone who left a bad review was similar if not just like my situation. So that tells you this place is a mess. My drink wasn't complicated, just a iced green tea latte but shaken so I wouldn't drink up powder from the bottom. I mentioned it twice to the guy who took my order cause he look uninterested and miserable. I get the drink and its unshaken with the powder at the bottom. I asked the girl if she would mind shaking it for me. She proceeded to give me a horrible look and say we don't do that. I told her that's how I ordered it and she wanted to argue back there's no way she would've known that cause it wasn't on the order. I ended up leaving without my correct drink. Obviously this was a mistake on their part and they did a piss ass job of correcting it. The store owner needs some serious spring cleaning on their employees here cause they're real quick to argue back even when they've screwed up. read more

I visit this Starbucks every time I'm in town and it is always amazing! The outside is clean and spacious, the inside/bathroom is also exceptionally clean. The staff always friendly, happy, work as team , and make the best lattes. By far the best starbucks I've ever been to! Yes there is a wait sometimes, but it's the only one in Beaufort and they run it better than chick fil a drive thru. read more

Coming from California I was initially really irritated with his location because I'm used to a very fast pace life. I actually love the atmosphere in this location the people are sweet and will take time to talk to you, and I am always reminded that it is okay to slow down not everything is a rush. read more

So disappointed. Was in Beaufort to pick up a new Marine, so we were in town for two days and were in a hurry both mornings. We stopped off the first morning at this Starbucks location. We arrived around 5:45am. These Baristas had no sense of urgency, no organization, no order & it took forever for us to get our orders. When orders did finally come, it was only for some of us and had to wait for additional coffee orders while patrons who arrived and ordered after us, walk out with their orders. We thought it was a fluke just a bad morning... So we returned the next morning only to find the service much worse than the prior day. I am a gold card member, and have been for years. I decided to place a mobile order, thinking that it may speed up the process but in fact it didn't make a difference. I placed my mobile order while part of my family ordered in store ...we waited and had to eventually ask for the status of our order. I only received the food portion of my order and had to ask what happened to my coffee order while I watched other customers who had arrived and ordered in store, walk out with their orders. These barista did not make eye contact and seemed to be oblivious to the fact that people were waiting on orders. This store was not busy was the real weird thing so it made no sense that they were so slow at getting orders made. Another confusing part is that they kept asking us questions about our orders as if they had no idea what we ordered yet there were labels on the side of our cups they could have referred to. Very disappointed in this Starbucks. I understand it can get busy but man did they take forever. I ordered one drink and several breakfast sandwiches. They took a long time to give me my breakfast sandwiches and to make things worse they forgot to make my drink. They don't even follow the beverage routine, I would know since I'm a barista. They make a drink one by one which in the ends just makes them take longer meanwhile the drink orders just pile up. read more

I've been coming to Starbucks across the United States for the last 10 years and this has got to be one of the WORST Starbucks I've ever been to. Flashback to their opening week: I came here to finally get my Starbucks fix after they opened the first Starbucks in town and I had been in front of the register waiting to order for a few minutes. The employees leaned against the counter chattering and looked me in my eyes and continued their conversation. THEN another man came in behind me and she asked him to take his order as I just stood there. Now today: I ordered my drink with a few changes but specifically wanted whipped cream because it doesn't usually come with it and the person at the register put it in wrong and then the barista told me I needed to order it with whip and I told her I did and her body language just read annoyed. I proceeded to drink my drink and she made it wrong. I wouldn't ask for a do over because although it's company policy they genuinely don't give a shit. I know there were a lot of bad reviews but honestly they were just opening and Beaufort doesn't exactly have the cream of the crop employees to choose from. 38 minute wait in drive thru! This Starbucks just opened and already needs an overhaul.

It didn't take us long to order but they got our order wrong. The "iced macchiato" was hot, not iced, the food was heated up but then as they were bringing it to us they dropped it on the ground, picked it up, and handed it to us. Employees generally didn't seem to care about us. read more

If I could rate this location with a negative rating I would. I really like Starbucks, I have never encountered the problems I have with this location any where else across the United States. Out of probably ten visits, my order has been wrong every time. Customer service at this location is nonexistent. Very rude. I am not exaggerating. My family will not return to this location ever again. I am still trying to figure out what is so complicated about a frappachino with no whip, to do this wrong ever time I come. The last time they handed it to my husband with whip cream, my husband politely told her, "my wife asked for no whip please". I spend about $60/week on Starbucks, mostly for work and have visited dozens of locations around the country. I thought I had seen the best and worst of the company but never have I been so disappointed. This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever visited. They charge ridiculous prices for add-ins and are the least attentive staff. Waiting for a full 5 minutes for help in a line by myself and then the shift manager rang me up for my usual drink at twice the price. I attempted to reason with them but I think this store just has absurd policies. Went to City Jazz in town and I will never go back to this Starbucks again. read more

Usually a good place, always a line. Sunday's they've been late opening lately. People standing outside 45 mins after its supposed to be open. No one answering drive thru. A lot of lost business. I don't visit Starbucks frequently as I try to check out local coffee stops before chains, but my local Starbucks has been open for only a month and I figured I'd try it. The spot- central location with ample parking. The exterior was clean and well landscaped. The service- I didn't have to wait long and the person taking my order was nice enough. I ordered through the drive-through and it was a pleasant experience. The product- I ordered the Chai Latte, I assumed this came hot as everywhere else I have ordered one that's how it was served. I figured you had to specify if you wanted something iced, but that's not the case. I received my chai latte on ice, which is not the way I wanted it but because I am not much of a complainer I paid for my drink and drove off. Besides the fact that it's not what I wanted- it tasted great and was gone by the time I got home. Next time I will be more specific. read more

I really like this Starbucks. The staff have been notably jovial and competent every time we visit. The quality is consistent. The layout provides some nice nooks for relaxing. Parking is easy, as is the drive-through. I visit a LOT of Starbucks and this one consistently hits the mark. read more

It's sad to say but I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a bad experience with this coffe shop. I'm not a Starbucks fan but my son likes a decaf caramel frapp occasionally. His order was simple, 1 tall caramel frapp with little whip. After 5 minutes I forgot to mention to the cashier that I needed decaf. They hadn't started on my drink yet so I didn't think it would've been an inconvenience to add that to the order but the "Shift Leader" did. She yelled at her coworker for bothering her while making drinks and had everyone looking at her like she was psycho because of her loud, rude, and disrespectful attitude. Great drive thru service. Didn't have to repeat the order like we do at some other locations. The macchiato was exceptionally tasty, possibly one of the best I've had at Starbucks (and I have been to many.) The only shortcoming was that I ordered my chocolate croissant heated, it showed on the screen as heated, and it wasn't. Kind of a bummer. Otherwise great experience! I would return. read more

Just left Starbucks and today was happy hour for reward members so it was extremely busy. The wait wasn't the issue. A certain barista named Keith was the biggest jerk. I did a mobile order and when my name was called another lady grabbed my drink. I saw her get it but didn't say anything since I know she could have also had the same name as me. Point is the lady who grabbed my drink was running her fingers around the lid and put her chin on it. When I asked Keith about my drink the lady quickly handed it to me and Keith was like "well there it is". I asked if he could make it again since the lady had basically put her germs all over it. Keith got annoyed. He made me my drink again and when he handed it to me he said "here you go and guess what?! I barely even touched it". That is extremely rude of him and disrespectful. I came here on Christmas Eve this past year with my parents after our annual trip through downtown and we were having the most pleasant day until our interaction with the staff. The idiot behind the counter poured the rest of the bag of dehydrated strawberries into my drink so when I took my first sip it was all strawberry seeds. I went to the counter and asked for another cup so I could filter it myself and the lady threw the drink and rolled her eyes and started making another one. I turned to my mom and said oh my God, I literally just asked for another cup. The lady then proceeded to yell at me and say what'd you just say with an attitude and I repeated myself-- because apparently directions are complicated to understand the first time - and said "I literally just asked for another cup", so she then proceeded to give me more attitude not worth noting. THEN after I sit back down with my parents, she starts talking trash about me to her co-worker just loud enough so we can hear her. SO MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO RICA!!!! read more

I love Starbucks and unfortunately because this is the only Starbucks in town I will continue to go here, but there definitely needs to be some major improvements. Thankfully I haven't had any experience with rude staff. Everyone I speak to is enthusiastic and polite. They have only gotten my drink order wrong once, which was a COMPLETELY different drink than I ordered. I ordered a venti iced vanilla late and they gave me a venti hot Carmel drink that tasted like water and a splash of hot chocolate. My same iced vanilla latte coffee taste completely different each time I order from this Starbucks, so either better training needs to be implemented or the baristas need to learn how to follow a recipe. The wait for the drive through can be 25 minutes sometimes and that is WAY too long to be waiting on some coffee. Behind the counter always looks overcrowded with workers bumping into each other and asking each other how to make this drink or what to put in it. This Starbucks is the slowest one I've ever been to and definitely needs some more management and training. read more
