Beware of dark atmosphere! I visited this Starbucks recently and had an overall uncomfortable experience. The store atmosphere felt quite dark and not particularly welcoming. The barista on duty had a distinctive alternative appearance, with heavy dark eye makeup extending from the outer corners of her eyes in a winged style, and visible dark tattoos on her arms. While I respect personal style differences, the overall presentation contributed to a somewhat uneasy impression of the environment. The main issue occurred with my order. The coffee cup had the word "eviles" written on it instead of my name. I asked the barista about it, and she stated it was meant to say "Enjoy." Since it did not resemble that word to me, I asked what language it was written in. She responded that her handwriting is not always easily recognized. The explanation did not fully resolve my concern, and the interaction left me feeling uncertain and uncomfortable. I always go to this place and normally I have a great experience but i've noticed the last few times that i've gone,there hasn't been much great service. The other day when i stopped thru the drive thru, I overheard them talking about me not tipping. I heard them bad talking me at the drive thru window. Not only is this extremely inappropriate, but also I want to remind you that you get paid hourly. You are not like an actual waiter Who gets 2.15 an hr. Plus it's a drive thru. If I went in, then I have and would always tip.. but I am driving thru. Plus, i don't feel that it is necessary to tip someone who earns hourly above 8$ an hr at THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW. DO YOU TIP PEOPLE AT MCDONALD'S? Seriously answer me. Do you? And why is that? I truly and genuinely want to know why you don't tip people at mcdonald's and expect tips there.... So why do you think that you have any right to bad talk and gossip about me? It's completely hypocritical on every level. This is not a disrespect thing, but I just wanna bring you guys up to speed.. Because the people that were helping me and that were bad talking me clearly need a reality check. I am not trying to be a karen and normally i'm actually really nice, and I genuinely care about each person. But the customer service here sucks. They do not take pride in working there, and it's very obvious There was another incident that happened today.. Today I asked for extra ice and it was really gooey. I was going through the drive thru And when I got it, they didn't give me a straw And they also did not put extra ice like I requested. I figured that they were just busy, but then I realized that there was only one person behind me, and there was no one inside. I know that I have to get to work and I'm running late, but I still decided to go in anyways. I figured it would go really fast because there was no one in there. And when I went in, I talked to a black girl who looked 20. I'm not sure her name but I do However, remember a conversation we had where she stated that she got named after someone from Africa And I thought it was a beautiful name, and so I complimented her on it because it was not only unique but very pretty. . She was skinny and had some short dreads, just for clarification. You also can check the camera at around 815 am. I said that" I asked for extra Ice" and instead of helping fix the problem..She said " i put a grande in " she didnt even take my cup or try to fix the situation. I showed her how watery it was. It was really watery and the whole point of having "extra ice" is so that it can be more thick. Keep in mind that I have autism... and sensory issues are extremely hard for me.. i do realize that it is just ice.But if you are a part of the spectrum, sensory is a huge deal. And I have brought this up to them before, many times actually. so they are well aware of my sensory. No one offered to fix it.. And I got literally no apology. If you are working the drive thru, you need to ensure that the people who order coffee, get a straw or what they paid for. I do want to mention that this isn't the only issue that has gone missing or forgotten. Each time that I come through, they always forget the straw, or something in my order but I don't say anything, because I don't want to be that person.But today triggered it. And so i'm speaking up.. Anyways, I hope that service here hanges because i've never dealt with something so disrespectful SO MANY TIMES. I feel ripped off i ended up throwing away the coffee and not drinking it.Because I couldn't handle the sensory. That was wasted, and since no one offered to fix it- it figured that they wouldn't help me either way. Everyone there stood and just stared at me. It was truly disgusting. read more

Worst Starbucks location! They never make a drink with Alterations's right even though the stickers say exactly what I asked for. So frustrating and shows lake of customer service. Drinks are decent when this location is actually open. I've never had this amount of trouble with any other location. Any time I come through, they're always closed. 5 pm on a Thursday they're closed. They were closed a few days ago at 2 pm on a weekday. Good Starbucks fare, but long line, slow and it is clearly because they are understaffed.

My past 3 experiences at this location have been the worst! I waited for over 20 minutes in the drive thru line today when there weren't that many cars in front of me. The past THREE times now they have made my drink incorrectly. Today it was hot when it should have been iced, last time they used regular milk when I ordered almond milk, and the time before they gave me someone else's order. Each time they have remade my order and given me the incorrect drink for free- which is nice but I can't drink them anyways being lactose intolerant. Today I left with both drinks and realized the remade drink was also incorrect! This happened last time as well!It's really frustrating spending over $6 on a regular size coffee and having it be wrong over and over. read more

This poor Starbucks is an absolute disaster. I've been to various Starbucks around the world and have never, ever seen such a poorly run Starbucks. Besides the fact that it will randomly be closed, they mess up drinks often and have no idea how to manage their customers. We walked into the Starbucks to order and no one was in front of us. We waited 20 minutes for our drink because they were solely focused on drive thru. We saw cars leave with their drink that ordered long after us. They don't seem to understand how to cadence their orders. Their drink making skills are also sub par. This location is unlike any other location I've been to, it's very odd. Starbucks needs to get new management in there and run this location like they do their others. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks, most of the time. They've been doing some interesting things to mix that up (shipping container store in SLC?) but when you get right down to it, it's a massive coffee purveyor with a bajillion locations. Fun story: many years ago, I had a friend from Chicago remark that there were more Starbucks locations in O'Hare Airport than in the entirety of Utah. Times have changed, and the fact that there's a coffee shop right near the freeway in Bountiful of all places is quite the sign of those changes. They do a hot chocolate, they have some pre-packaged cookies and biscotti and the like. I had a couple of each. They also bought a wonderful bakery called La Boulange and then confined it to a small display case, so that's a horribly disappointing but you do get a few pastries to choose from, so that's something? The space is nice. A small sofa area, some high tops, some two-top tables, and the windows look out on 500 S. There's a drive-thru here, and I'm sure they do just fine. I don't drink coffee so I'm quite useless when it comes to the core of their business. I came, I parked, I stayed a while to hang out. It worked. It's a Starbucks, alright. read more

This Starbucks meets all my expectations, however one comment to note - they often (approx 40% of the time) mistake a peppermint hot chocolate for a peppermint mocha, which is beyond frustrating when my parents don't drink coffee and so the drink either goes to waste or we have to make a trip back. Service is friendly as you would expect, drinks are delicious, but check your order if you can before you leave the parking lot! read more

I was just at Starbucks with my 2 girl friends and I ordered a strawberry açaí LEMONADE with no ice. The first time it was made they forgot no ice, so I kindly let the barista know my order was wrong, she remade it very quickly and again, my drink was made wrong, without lemonade. I went to this starbucks every morning and was never disappointed until recently. They are ALWAYS randomly closed for who knows why, and it'll be indefinite. And when they are open there's rarely the same people there so my drinks are never right. They try to pass off an iced coffee as a cold brew and that's when I was done. The older gentleman that works drive thru is the only reason I kept coming back. He needs a raise and to work for a better location that is actually OPEN. read more

Sadly, this morning was the last time that I'll visit the Starbucks location that I've been going to for seven years. I showed up this morning excited for potentially getting my hands on some Halloween cups. I was met by a woman named Gemini who was so extremely condescending that I felt so small by the time I left. A simple "we don't have them, sorry" would have been fine. Instead I was privy to a lesson on how they never get any type of holiday merchandise (even though last year that's where I purchased most of my Christmas merch) and spoken to like I was three years old. I was stunned. I couldn't even muster the words to order my food and ended up stating calmly that I wouldn't be back and left. Since COVID this store has gone downhill and it makes me so sad. I miss Kaden and Rose and Francesca. Not to mention TikTok is full of baristas stating how much they hate their customers so I'm walking in with a complex to begin with. DO BETTER. Be nice. Have you ever tried ordering a Blonde Roast Black? 80% of the time they say "we can do a pour over americano style?", "I'm sorry sir, we stop serving Blonde Roast at 10:00 am"! Or they fill your cup with whatever is brewed and hope you won't notice! I simply want a blond roast black, nothing special!. If you want a simple, delicious black coffee, I recommend 7-Eleven! As a Seattle girl I love my Starbucks. This location is no exception. Drinks are consistent and the space is clean. My biggest complaint is their speed. Of course, my expectations are high based on 20 years in Seattle but seriously 4 cars in the drive through can take 10+ minutes. Servers are friendly and the drive through in the early weekday AM is always ready with a nice comment. Improve the speed and it's 5* all the way. read more

I recently moved to the area from California, I have been to Starbucks around the country and this is a good one! The service is a little slower, but the employees are always really nice. My drink looked and tasted unusual last time when I went through the drive through, but I walked in and they immediately acknowledged that is was incorrect and re-made my drink for me. i go to get a peppermint mocha and when i pull up to the window she gives me a plain mocha. i ask her about it and she says she doesn't have the peppermint syrup. why did they say that before i pulled up to the window, i don't know. My daughter and I placed our order and we were assisted by Dani at the drive thru window. When she gave us our order an ice tea and a bag containing 3 pastries, she literally rolled her eyes and tossed the bag at us. I rarely complain, I get that people Sometimes have bad days. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I ordered my late at kids temperature and no foam, when I received my drink the barista guy with braces says, "yeah I didn't make that at kids temperature, I forgot" and not to make a big deal I just left it alone, then I open my drink and there is at least 2 inches of foam, I asked him to take it off and he did but gave my drink back with 3 inches of room from the top, I asked for more milk because let's me honest, these drinks are not cheap, he just used left over milk instead of remaking it. This Starbucks location is good. I redeemed a free drink here from my Starbucks Rewards account and the process was fairly smooth. My drink, a hot chocolate, took longer to make than usual (about ten minutes), and there were only three customers at the time I came. The hot chocolate was still good. read more

The good thing about this particular Starbucks location is your drink will always be correct. I would avoid going first thing in the morning bc everyone in Bountiful likes to stop by this location before work and its a circus. There used to be another Starbucks location down the street to help draw some of the crowd but that one closed down. The inside of this Starbucks is always clean and everyone is always nice and friendly. I like going between 10AM and 6PM. read more

The employees are great! I want to Thank Courtney for her great customer service! We went today to grab 3 frappes and some bread. And we show up place the order and we realize that we forgot our wallets! We had no way to pay for our stuff, we told Courtney we would be to pay for it. She was like, "Don't worry it's on us " and she was completely understanding saying it happens to all of us. She gave us the stuff. I want to say thank you Courtney and thank you Starbucks for the great people you hire. And also, the frappes were amazing! I recommend the Moca Frappe!! And banana nut bread! Save yourself the trip. Unless you are a regular you are treated very sub par. They hardly acknowledge you and will put other customers drinks before yours if they ordered after you. The wait in the morning isn't bad at all but if you go in the afternoon or night expect to wait about 5-10 minutes. Drinks are made okay, have had to send a couple back but they were apologetic. read more

I ordered my drink at the drive-thru on my way to work in Salt Lake City. The girl seemed very confused by my order. When I got to the window, the girl at the window was VERY unfriendly. She didn't repeat my drink back to me, and didn't even thank me when I tipped her. She just grabbed the dollar and put it in the tip box, like she was entitled to it. The drink was not very good, there was no foam and more syrup than I asked for. I plan on calling a manager and suggesting they put someone at the drive-thru window who is at least somewhat friendly, and making sure the partners at this location know they shouldn't be re-steaming milk and that they need to aerate the milk if they want to make foam. The benefit of them making my drink incorrectly- they handed out my drink fast. I am planning on taking my drink (it's not even worth drinking the whole thing) back and seeing if they can replace it. read more
