They all were so good that we couldn't agree on a favorite. Breakfast burrito and ube pancakes for mains. The burrito was STUFFED with delicious chorizo, cheese, egg, and veggies. Wrapped in a super large tortilla then grilled for crispy exterior. Served with a fantastic salsa with hints chipotle heat. Great flavor but not so much that it buries the flavor. The ube pancakes were also incredible. Four large, lightly crisped cakes topped with ube whipped cream, blueberries, blueberry syrup drizzle, and a mint sprig. First bite was so good that I didn't talk for at least five minutes, so I could shovel in more and more. They came with a side of syrup, but it was definitely not needed. I'll certainly be back to try more menu items, but it'll be hard to resist temptation of the burrito. If you've eaten here before, it's probably time to go back - if you've never been here, it's time to go... now!

The biscuits also came with a cinnamon butter and blueberry butter, but the caramel was my favorite (this shocked me!) For the main entrees, my party ordered the basic AF, Carnitas Hash, Birria Hash, McDrizle, and half order avocado toast. Everything as delicious and easy person enjoyed what they ordered. I tried the meat on both the birria hash and carnitas hash and I'd have to say I prefer the carnitas over the birria! Because it was Father's Day they also sent the dads away with a bottle of root beer, which I thought was fun. I would definitely recommend and will also go again and try something new. We did end up getting there around 9:30, which was great timing. When we were leaving there were a lot of people waiting around for their table.

While I can't speak for others, Karl has always provided us with an amazing serving experience and has really made us feel at home at Root'd, while the food is great, his service is what has always stood out to me here. Before other people go judging him on one shitty night he had they should realize that he is just trying his best and one bad night does not define Karl, because I have seen so much more out of him. Imagine if you judged everyone based on one night off their life? Doesn't seem very fair, does it.
