What a disappointing experience. The matcha i ordered was too light, and only tasted like milk even though I asked for an extra scoop of matcha in it. The cold foam tasted horrible, and wasn't even creamy and sweet like it should be. The double chocolate chip Frappuccino had no drizzle or whip on the bottom and it needs to have it because that's what the customer pays for. The cafe orders take significantly longer than drive thru orders. Expect people who order 5-10 minutes after you to get their drinks first. I've waited multiple times in the cafe for 20+ minutes for mobile orders and orders in the cafe. The staff is relatively unfriendly and will respond with attitude when asked a question. read more

We got there at the drive thru at 5:35 when they opened at 5:30. Radio silence. So we said no problem we will just park and go inside. Attempt to do that at 5:38 and the door is locked. The workers just look at me and finally, who I believe is the manager, comes out and says they are having a late opening and will be open in 5 minutes. So that's fine, we go sit back in the car. 5 minutes passes and the "manager" runs out to get something out of her own car, another customer asks if they are open and she proceeds to say they are having a late opening & will be open in another 10 minutes (5:50 a.m.) when they were supposed to open at 5:30. We would have appreciated any communication, accurate communication, and punctuality overall. Lots of customers were lost this AM. read more

Awful customer service. Terribly made drinks. It took 25 minutes for a Mobile order, I understand everywhere is under staffed. The wait time was not my issue. It was my asking to cancel the drink after 20 minutes so that I could get back on my 10 hour long drive home - and the cashier saying no because the drink should be up soon. It took another 6 minutes. And when the barista finally made it, she just threw it all in a cup without making it correctly. I have been coming here for years. The last 3 months have been the worst. I usually order a Pike coffee but the barista makes an Americana or adds hot water to old/cold Pike. I have watched the barista do it, and were it not for the wait time of getting a new drink I would say something. I did return the drink the first time...then I just got tired of waiting in line again. The wait times are usually 15-20 min for a drink. The parking lot is also a bad design that backs up regularly. Most things I will look over for a good cup of Pike. I have been to locations all over the US including NY, LA and the original location at Pikes Place Market. It's sad that you can't even get their flagship coffee when coming to this store. I finally gave up on them and started going to the Duncan that is down the road from them. Been going to Duncan every lunch for the past two weeks without an issue and the wait time is less than 5 min. On the bright side - The Starbucks employees are nice. read more

If you're driving to Chattanooga or leaving Atlanta heading north up 75, this Starbucks is at that magical point where you're just far enough out of the Atlanta traffic nightmare that is I-75 north of 285 that you always need a bathroom break/caffeine boost. This Starbucks is just barely a mile off of the interstate (on your left handside when going North), making it a perfect road trip stop. Even though it's in the middle of nowhere Georgia, the drive-thru line is always packed. So, order online with the mobile app and pick up in store to escape the insanity. Other than its proximity to I-75 in the middle of nowhere, this is a pretty unremarkable Starbucks, which is A-OK by me. read more

I went through the drive-thru this morning, and as I was putting my Trenta ice coffee in the cup holder, the lid came off. Ice coffee went everywhere!! There was a lake in my cup holder, it was on my seat, and there was pool in the floorboards. The woman in the drive thru didn't miss a beat! While I was about to panic, she said- "It's fine. We'll make another drink. " She handed me stacks of napkins, a bag to put the trash in, a towel, and wipes to get the sticky up. I asked if I needed to pull over out of the drive thru. I know drive times are important, but she said, "No, you're fine!" I apologized profusely! She reassured me that things like this happen and not to worry. I want to thank Keren for helping this frazzled mom not feel like a complete disaster this morning. Thank you for being so helpful and understanding. And the coffee was fantastic too!! read more

My sister and I went in to purchase a Georgia mug as well as some madeleines and a drink. The drink came out quickly and it was perfectly made! The baristas were so kind and cheerful! Basically all Starbucks are the same with the only differences being staff and store designs. This is a quick review! I have had wonderful experiences at Starbucks and horrible ones. This store falls somewhere in the middle of that. The staff were "in the weeds" as there was a line at the drive through about 10 cars long. This made me chose to go inside for my order. The girl who took my order took about 3 minutes to come to the register to do so. There was no line inside and actually only one other customer in the store. My order was made quickly and well. The staff were not rude to me but not exactly friendly either. Not a smile in the place. If I am in the area I am sure I would stop here again. A happier staff and a more timely acknowledgement that I was waiting to order would have made this a 4-5 star experience. Like I said, nothing bad but absolutely nothing good. read more

Was fine with waiting, was fine when I got to the window and they hadn't made and couldn't find the mobile order, but wasn't fine when leaving and discovered I'm drinking hot sugar milk, a latte with 0 coffee, gross. everytime i go here something gets messed up, i usually will ask for a brown sugar shaken espresso with regular espresso instead of blonde and they do blonde anyways, after confirming they will do regular, (blonde and regular have different flavor profiles) and then today i asked for an iced lavender cream oat milk matcha, blended because the ice holds the cold foam and you don't really get all of it but the cold foam makes it more creamy, anyways, it tastes like oat milk, the matcha flavor is very faint and i taste the lavender more then matcha, i like the lavender matcha drink but it doesn't usually taste like this, i've had it blended at another location and it tasted good but at this location its like they did a sprinkle of matcha to make it green or something, and last week i went and my app would not load for me to scan my QR code and get points, they told me i could use the app to scan my receipt and get my points, one google search later, you used to be able to do that but you no longer can, been to this location multiple times and i almost always have a bad experience, just sucks :( read more

A few years ago, I drove to Atlanta from Chattanooga almost every week. And since the drive was usually Monday mornings, stopping at Starbucks was a forgone conclusion. (Well, if you know me, stopping for coffee is ALWAYS on the agenda.) The good folks here were always awesome and always remembered me. Although I'm still making the CHA-ATL drive quite often, my travel schedule has changed... as has this establishment. It's perfectly fine, with drinks made correctly to order, but their employees have little personality. They're efficient, though little else. In short at least one of their employees working the drive through practices her own form of facism while being paid by Starbucks. I ordered a single cup of coffee and was the next car at the window. I could see my coffee cup sitting in plain sight but Amanda did everything she could to NOT serve me. She took enough orders at the drive through to get the line backed up as far as possible and then walked around to avoid serving me. After about 10 min Amanda finally decided to open the window and "serve" me. I asked for the manager and informed her of the problem. Amanda then held up some drink cup and proclaimed she was waiting on the drink in her hand as she thought it was mine. The manager was informed that her staff should be able to handle an order of a black cup of coffee. Amanda then looses control and yells that if I hadn't littered she would have served me sooner. It turns out that when I emptied my fast food cup of ice and water out the window between my car and the base of the drive thru window (and then put the empty cup in my trash receptical) Amanda THOUGHT I littered and decided to execute her plan to punish me. So a paid employee of Starbucks whose job is to serve customers decided that she no longer had to do that and could ACT on "her" ideals and make sure I was sufficiently punished. It didn't matter to her that I didn't litter (something people shouldn't do) , but that she thought I littered. Whatever schooling or social group she has been influenced by apparently told her that acts of fascist regimes was the way to handle any situation whether the situation actually happened or not- comply or be punished. What's wrong with the world is on display at this store and many others from the news stories I have read in the past. I believe them all now read more

This location is not put together. There have been people putting in mobile orders for hours and the store is closed when we get here to pick up our orders. They could at least update their hours on the app. Cartersville's location closed for one day and immediately had it reflected on the app. I'm livid. read more

I went in to get the right drink after ordering a tea latte in the drive-through and getting a coffee latte instead. Got back on the road and realized they messed the second one up as well. Ran into bathroom the garbage outside and inside restaurant was overflowed. Then went through the drive through asked for a plain green tea. Barista assumed iced green tea, asked her for a hot plain green emperor tea with no citrus. Waited another two minutes for my drink received a citrus hot green tea. Ordered2 sandwiches a protein package and 2 coffee drinks. Spent $26. One drink never arrived and I inquiries as we were traveling and wanted to get back on the road.
