This was after drinking half that amount and making myself sick so I had to stop hahaha

I go to this location almost every morning, everyone is so nice but the drinks are always sooo inconsistent. Today my drink was genuinely probably half the cup filled with caramel sauce... I'm not sure how that's even possible to add so much caramel sauce? I appreciate everything else from them besides the inconsistency and just overdoing the sauces.

a cup of iced coffee on a table

Went here this morning with my boyfriend really wanting a good drink and something to eat. I order an iced vanilla latte with oat milk which when I pull way and tried it was actual milk and I'm lactose intolerant and didn't appreciate I had to throw away my coffee. My boyfriend order a hot chocolate that tasted like water and a ham and Swiss panini he couldn't eat because is was as hard as a rock. Really sad to have this experience something has really changed since the remodel

    Literally dripping chocolate

If you're looking for the perfect place to meet up with friends, work independently or just treat…read moreyourself, Gwynn's Willamette Coffee House is the perfect place! It's welcoming, cozy and well maintained. They have cute decorations, plenty of seating and the staff is always friendly. They have a broad menu of drinks and food options. I ordered the Italian panini and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup for my daughter and I to share. The sandwiches come with chips and the most heavenly pickle. The sandwich was delicious with sautéed mushrooms and onions in the mix. The soup was nice and creamy and loaded with fresh broccoli chunks. The most perfect, craveable kind of lunch. They do have a rewards program, so be sure to sign up to save because I promise you'll want to add Gwynn's to your rotation.

Does it taste over extracted? Etc.) and I can say that today's doppio was perfect to my tastes. The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have had it served in a small ceramic cup or a shot glass instead of an 8-ounce paper cup. The cashier was friendly and pleasant, letting me take the extra time to register as a loyalty member, and the barista even called my double-shot a doppio. Good on ya! It's a nice quiet location with background music as well as lots of tables and some comfy overstuffed chairs and sofa; it's very clean and bright inside. There are also some tables & chairs outside on the sidewalk area for sitting outside on a beautiful PNW fall day like today. Free WiFi is an added bonus!

Coming on here to kindly disagree with the last review...this place is hands down the BEST coffee…read moreshop in the valley. And I say that as a coffee snob! Not only is it locally owned, but they do all the little things that most coffee shops don't do anymore (especially the large chains). They still do punch cards, they compensate you if drinks take longer than usual, they add whip and bean to drinks for free, free pup cups/dog treats, their sizes are fairly large for the price, they don't ask for tip, they don't ask you to "sign up online" or for your ID for a free bday drink, they do things for the local community regularly...I could go on and on! And all these little things are the things that keep me coming back time and time again over going to Starbucks or Dutch Bros...and that isn't even getting into how DELICIOUS the coffee is! They do a wonderful job at creating new drinks each month and they take care in making each drink the right way (mixing the flavor in with the espresso etc). Their syrups are top tier too! The employees are usually young adults that live in Dallas, and are always super sweet....maybe they don't chat you up as much as Dutch Bros, but some of us don't want that. And the prices are on par with every other coffee shop in 2026. Anyways, that was a long way of saying don't listen to the negative reviews...go get the best coffee ever and support local businesses!! :)

Fernie's Coffee & ZigZag 4 Stars…read more Headed up toward Mt. Hood, I swung into Fernie's Coffee & ZigZag on a cold mountain morning, chasing a memory more than a meal. Back in the day when this place went by a different name and the vibe was more Hoppin' they made some of the greatest biscuits and gravy around. Legendary stuff. So naturally, I had to try it again. Good news: it didn't disappoint. I won't swear it's as good as the original incarnation (time has a way of polishing memories), but it's a solid second-best, and that's saying something. The biscuits were hearty, the gravy did its job, and I left full and ready for the road. The coffee? Decent. It'll wake you up, won't change your life, but it'll get you to Timberline without falling asleep at the wheel. That said, the place feels like a ghost of its former self. Sad to see the market closed that part stings a little. The building still holds the echoes of what it used to be, and you can almost feel the history lingering in the corners. Service-wise, there was a moment. The lady at the counter was BS-ing with some guy at the window for a solid five minutes or maybe he was just standing there, staring into the void but either way, I was ready to order. That little pause cost them a star. Still, for the price, the convenience, and the fact that I was in and out with no line while heading up the mountain, it earns four stars. It's good, it's familiar, it's just missing something. If they ever find it again, this place could really shine.
