This is one of our favorite Black Rock locations. We order a large variety of drinks but we also have a few favorites. One of my favs is a caramel blondie chiller with extra caramel. The baristas at this location understand what extra caramel means and always make it delicious! I have also asked for my hot coffees to be extra sweet and they do their best to sweeten it up for me. It's an easy location to be able to get in and out of. Easy entrance and exit from both Molalla Ave and Beavercreek Rd. into the parking lot with BiMart and Super Thrift. Food- I give it a 3 out of 5. I've had their croissant with cheese and ham. It would be better if they warmed it up longer so the cheese is melted. Drinks- I've been to this one and ordered a lemonade during the month of September- but went to the Happy Valley location and was told it we a seasonal thing... kinda weird. This is a pretty frequent stop for my wife and I. Good and fast service, very good prices, and excellent coffee. The only reason this isn't a five star review is because one employee there gets so.ething wrong on our order half the time she's there. I waited behind two cars. The first black car just sat there chatting with the girl at the window after being handed her drink. I lost my patience and got out of line. Other coffee drive-thrus would have handled two customers in half the time they spent chatting. I don't care what they have to take about, do it on break if you can't make coffee at the same time. I typically go to this black rock more often than most people. I have my favorite drinks that I typical switch up. The long lines are worth it as it's always refreshing. However, on more than one occassion, I have found strands of hair in my drinks. It's easy to tell, as I get the fuel energy drink. It is gross as I don't catch it at first, but when I'm half way done with it. The first time I let it go, as something that possibly can't happen again. its been about 3 times. read more

Why so much variance of recipes between locations? When I order a special drink I expect to get the same drink every time but that hasn't been the case between your Gladstone and Oregon City locations. I really LIKE the Gladstone version and was wickedly disappointed in the Oregon City version which was NOTHING like what I requested or got. I continue to fall in love with Black Rock Coffee. We buy their beans to take home and alternate with Stumptown. We love both companies and anyone who can stand up to Stumptown is gold in my book. This location has a amazingly friendly staff. They must be happy working there because they are always in great moods. They always get the drink orders right. We always get a smile. Probably come here once a week when on my way to work, the baristas are super friendly, quick, and gracious. They're always so thankful when I say keep the change (a couple bucks), it's nice, there's never been any attitude like you may encounter at other coffee houses. Finally decided to write a review on this location after the worse cup of coffee ever. Simply ordered two hot caramel blondies and ended up with burnt, bitter and flavorless coffee. I can deal with the snobby girls that work there and their very poor customer service, but paying for such horrible coffee is ridiculous.
