Peet's hits the spot. Like they're really good actually. I got a holiday spice latte and it was perfect. The almond croissant is also really yummy and it's big too. The staff is very nice. The dining room has lots of tables with light and many are working from there. It's got parking nearby too.

By far one of the worst mochas I've ever had in my life. Too hot to drink right away and by the time I took my first sip, it tasted like water and a hint of chocolate. I've had more of a chocolate or coffee taste from a gas station drink. I opened up my drink and it's lighter than a mocha and has oil resting on top. Absolutely terrible.

A latte! Plain no flavor nothing, just a supposed non fat latte by an inexperienced barista.

This is a latte???? Inconsistency at its finest at Peet's coffee. Perhaps you spend the time to train your baristas. For reference all 3 below are supposed to be the same thing.

Very nice coffee shop in Bridgeport Village. On the corner in the village, the parking lot can become busy real quick with other shops nearby, and it's always busy inside with friends catching up- It's a little loud inside, so not sure how good it is for concentration like studying / reading. Great coffee and yummy pastries to enjoy too. Service is always friendly and baristas know how to make a good quad white mocha.

As a Bay Area CA native, Pete's coffee has always been on my list of coffee shops I frequent. When I moved to Portland, OR they were not as available as they were in the Bay Area, so it was nice to find this one at Bridgeport Village. It is located next to the nail salon that I frequent and it's nice to know that if I want to enjoy a coffee or hot Coco, I can grab one conveniently before going in for my appointment. Pete's definable has a deeper, more robust and complex flavor to their drip brews than say a Starbucks. I particularly like their drip coffees and hot Coco. They also often partner with local artisanal bakeries for their pastry menus which I appreciate. I do not gravitate to their "dressed up menu" items such as holiday coffees like perming mochas or A little history on Pete's... "When the three founders of Starbucks were looking to start their company, they contacted Peet, who "became like a father mentor" to them. He allowed the three young men to copy the layout of his store and shared his suppliers." I will continue to frequent this Pete's and others based on their consistent and robust coffee blend.

Solid little cafe with some specialty drinks and friendly staff. Great for getting work done. Only complaint is the wifi connection has gone down a few times while working there.

I mean, how do you discontinue SOY MILK?!?!?! I've never been to a Peet's before. I drink their coffee at home, so I'm fairly sure the coffee here is good. I wanted a Vanilla Soy Latte, but sigh...soy has been replaced with Almond and Oat milk. Disappointing. The Herbal Iced Tea Lemonade however, was divine! As was the Honey Ham, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and Marionberry Cream Cheese Cup Service was lovely. Come here

Always solid coffee. Always great customer service. The cafe is clean and covid precautions in place.

Grab a parking space but go in and get a BLACK TIE and be prepared for a sugar rush. So delicious. So is the Marionberry cheese danish.

This location is closed and has a sign that makes it look like a different company is moving into that location. Can anyone clarify?

There is a great exterior patio area and the service is delightful. I honestly had never heard of a kolache before I visited this facility. I can honestly say that it's a unique but delicious pastry that comes with your choice of filling at this shop. I went with the OG and was definitely not disappointed. I was able to chat with the owner while I waited for my food and had a very lovely interaction. In general, the atmosphere is very friendly and seemed like a very family friendly environment. Definitely check it out if you want to have some quality service while trying a pastry you've probably never heard of... all at an affordable price and in a vintage style restaurant.

I ordered three different savory kolaches, and being from Texas I was wondering if they'd hold up. The OG is almost exactly the same, it's got a slightly different texture and the breading is less flaky than what I usually get at home, but it's still very good. The Bacon Me Happy was also super good, it's not like the usual savory kolaches back home but it was very tasty. The Happy Bird uses turkey sausage, which is good for anyone who wants less red meat in their diet, and I liked the cheese a lot. One more difference between these and the ones back home is these are less rectangular, which I think is closer to the original recipe than the ones I'm used to having.

We stopped by for a Saturday lunch, and were quite pleased with our visit…read more The entrance into the establishment is a complete bottleneck, but once you figure out bakery orders are on one side, and check-in for dining is on the other, it kind of makes sense -- its just a tight space when you also have patrons leaving. We were seated quickly -- it was a nice day, so we sat in their lovely outdoor dining area. They brought us room temperature waters (not a fan), and took our drink orders rather quickly. Service was good throughout our visit. I ordered the IPA Bacon Cheeseburger, which came (over)loaded with lots of fresh vegetables, a large burger patty, and the IPA mustard sauce. I don't want to complain about a burger being piled high with bacon, pickles, and fresh onions, lettuce, & tomatoes; but it was difficult to eat. While the Challah bun was delicious, it was woefully undersized for the task of holding it all together. I enjoyed it, but felt the IPA sauce was lost in the midst of everything else, and I also thought the burger patty was under-seasoned. I ordered fries as a side, and unfortunately they were the "battered" variety, which I just don't enjoy. Restaurants -- please, just serve normal French fries, without any batter on them! We knew from past experience that baked goods and desserts are really what La Provence is good at, so we ordered Tiramisu for dessert. Their very non-traditional take on this Italian classic would probably some people uneasy, but it was delicious. It had a dense chocolate cake base, with a thick layer of mascarpone mousse on top of that, then a topping of thin, crunchy, chocolate hazelnut ganache. Not too sweet, with a variety of textures to enjoy. We would definitely come back again, but I'd get something other than burger and fries.
