I want to start by saying that I've been a Starbucks Partner for over 2 years. I started out as a barista and now manage the second highest volume store in my district. With that said, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in how unclean and un-hygienic this store was. The first thing I noticed were the over flowing trash cans, trash on the floor and mountain of boxes piled up by the front entrance. As I walked to the register, I noticed their handoff plane COVERED in spilled drinks, syrups, milks, etc. and as I was taking my order, I noticed that this store also had their mango dragon fruit & kiwi star fruit refresher based stored in pitchers on the tea shelf (next to the strawberry refresher base) despite these 2 flavors not being safe to store at ambient temperature and the boxes these bases come in specifically stating "refrigerate after opening". The store was not very busy at all, there were 3 partners on the floor, and no one seemed to be concerned or phased by the gross condition of the store. I ordered an ice water and an iced americano and then went to the bathroom. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. At this point I didn't even feel like I was in a Starbucks anymore. I felt like I was in a gas station bathroom. The sink had dirt built up all over it, the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in weeks, there was very little toilet paper on the roll, and A LOT of it on the floor. After I came out of the bathroom, I polite informed who seemed to be the shift supervisor that only the mew strawberry refresher base is safe to store at room temp and that the others should be in the fridge. Her response was "Oh, I know! We just keep them out during the day and put them back in the fridge at night." I don't think she's aware of how good safety works. By the end of my visit, I was too grossed out to even drink my americano. I took my drinks, walked out the store and threw them away as soon as I had the chance. Such an unfortunate experience, but I don't blame the partners. This is a direct reflection of Starbucks no longer offer competitive wages for baristas. We are now, unfortunately, forced to hire candidates who were unable to get higher paying jobs with other fast food establishments. A once competitive and highly sought after position in the food service industry is now being shoved into the "standard fast food" box and it's heartbreaking to see. Starbucks- please invest in your partners! Our brand is better than this. read more

This Starbucks is located off of I-75, as I was headed towards Toledo, Ohio. If you frequent Starbucks, you know that it's not unusual to see people meeting up or even working there. This day was no different. Even with the snow, there was a nice sized crowd there. My order was taken quickly and delivered to me correct. read more

Really like this Starbucks, the service is always good and the staff is very friendly. I've never had a bad experience at this location. The inside is always clean and trendy like most franchise Starbucks but this location has something cozy about it. Bathrooms are clean and the staff always keep the tables clean. I just left this establishment and I was BEYOND upset with the service. I am a black woman and I walked in due to the drive thru line being extremely long. I walked in and literally waited for we'll over 10 minutes at the counter. There were 5 employees that were doing their jobs which I can appreciate but those same 5 people looked me in my face on a number of occasions and never even acknowledged my presence. There was no "I'll be with you in one moment"... nada. it was to the point where I asked multiple caucasian customers if they had a long wait to at least order to which they responded "No". One woman looked uncomfortable and you could tell she was upset for me. It's a Starbucks. The coffee is overrated and overpriced and yet they are everywhere so eventually you end up drinking it. I am lazy and they have a drive through and I needed to get some coffee before the freeway on my way home to Belleville. I had my usual coffeehouse order of a skinny sugar free vanilla latte, mourning the cheap real coffee Timmie Ho just out of my reach across the freeway. It would have involved crossing five lanes of traffic on Ford Road afterwards so Starbucks it was. It was meh. Starbucks always tastes a bit burnt to me. I don't mind the skim milk or sugar free at all because as I said, that is standard for me. The coffee under it all though is not stellar. I am unsurprised as this is my usual experience at Starbucks. Some are better than others but I can never wrap my head around the hype. They got my order right, were reasonably speedy and fine. This is not a good place to get coffee right after they open. I stopped here yesterday at 6am and got a plain dark roast that tasted stale like it had been sitting over night. I called to complain about it and they said they just made a fresh batch. No refund on mine offered. I stopped again this morning at 550am and ordered dark roast again. When I got to work and tried it the coffee was stale again. I called again to complain and got the same story, a fresh pot was just made. They offered to make me another but I work 25 miles from there so not worth it, still didn't offer a refund. I have a suggestion for the owners of this location. Why not make fresh coffee every day BEFORE opening so this doesn't happen? I won't be visiting this location again. read more

There were 4 women on duty and not one of those no good with the public girls asked me if I'd been helped, needed help, or how can I help you? I thought they were just super busy at 215pm so I patiently waited. A woman walked in and she immediately got a "HI!! Can I help you?" I was stunned. I felt completely invisible. I walked out without a fuss. But-oh yeah. I did make a fuss-online. I work in customer service, I'm a teacher. And ignoring anyone is rude and ignorant. Service is o.k. Employees are not too friendly, but not rude. Usually when we visit this location, it's freezing inside, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it comfortable. Because of its proximity to the theater, it's an ideal location to kill some time while chatting and grabbing a drink and snack. There is a decent amount of seating, lighting is good, and the music is at a good volume for conversations or working. I wouldn't drive out of my way to go to this coffee shop though. read more

this store is not offering curbside or instore pickup like they advertise so when i placed my mobile order thinking i could quickly swing by that was not the case. when i pulled up the sign on the door said drive thru only which the line of cars was about 12-15 cars long. they really shouldnt offer mobile pick up if you have to wait through the drive thru to get your order. honestly doesnt make sense to me. so i waited an extra 20 minutes for my coffee after my estimated pick up time. read more

I visited here in April of this year. I had just gotten off a plane, I was starving, experiencing a heck of a rain storm, and had to get off the highway to avoid all the construction traffic. The guy working the drive through was quite outgoing. He suggested adding vanilla to my hot chai, which I hadn't though of before. It was quite good! He also sold me on a few pastries, which tasted okay. It will be a long time, if ever, before I come back to Michigan. But if I do, and I can, I plan on visiting this Starbucks again. I am a frequent customer of Starbucks and am not the type to complain but after the 4th time of getting my order wrong going through the drive through I was more than annoyed. I live in canton and now I have to go out of my way to find another Starbucks when this location is less than a mile from my house... I rather not waist my money on a drink I didn't order. This is by far my favorite Starbucks. I mostly go through the drive thru. They're always friendly and I can get whatever I want done to my drinks and they always get it right. I always order the same thing: Green tea Frappuccino, no classic syrup, no whipped cream, lite ice and extra matcha. No one else can make it like they do. I live about 5 minutes away and usually go when I'm already out shopping or will make a special trip just because it's really not out of the way. All my grocery stores are right by it as well (Sams Club, Gordon's and Walmart). The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because every time I go, there's a wait. I don't feel like I go during peak hours, but perhaps it's just busy around the clock. I have two kids, an 8 year old and a 8 month old, so waiting is something I try to not do, and I won't leave them in the car. If they could handle high volumes a little quicker, they would definitely get 5 stars. read more

I have tried this location 3 separate times now, and have had my drink messed up every time. And then had the employees act irritated with me when asked to make a new one. Watch them make your drink, because if they mess up they will not say or do anything and just hope you don't notice. It's still a 5$ coffee people! Take your F-ing job seriously it's not that hard. If I say "2 Raw sugars" that doesn't mean i want 2 sweet-n-low, or 4 raw sugars.. Read what you just wrote on the cup!
