    Busy but well staffed

Update: There is one older woman here who works the drive thru who is outstanding and another younger girl as well. The rest of the staff pretty much stinks as far as personality and demeanor go. Also when you mobile order you should be put in the line with the drinks. SEVERAL times I have seen them ignore mobile orders when it's busy and when I ask why people who ordered AFTER me got their drinks first I'm told they're doing them I order. Well well well there's a time stamp on my order so that's a blatant lie. Once I ordered my drink at home via the app (a cold brew at that), drove to the store, and waited 30 mins for my drink. So 45 mins for a cold coffee that is already brewed with water added?!?! Yeah I don't think so. If the store is crazy busy the times give. When you mobile order should be adjusted accordingly. I like this location. It's super busy on weekends but they always have a large amount of staff on hand so you never really have to wait long. Drinks have all been correct and the place is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful!

This is my first time visiting this Starbucks and I must say that for the area that it is in, I am very disappointed. It is 11:58am on a Sunday morning and it is atrocious! This place looks like it hasn't been swept in a few days. There is food particles all over the chairs, floors and tabletops. I am not sure what happened in here but for customers to have to maneuver just to sit in a clean seat is a bit ridiculous. This is my first and last time visiting this Starbucks.

Low tables, I'm 5'-3" and have to hunch down. Your back hits the wall art. No barrier between employees making drinks and general public.

New renovation is so bad! The more I look around and sit here the more I feel like they purposely designed the sitting area to make your stay so miserable that you don't want to stay. The bench seats are too high, the round tables to it are too low. Makes for awful ergonomics. When you lean back, the back pad to the bench seating only comes up to at best your mid back, then your upper back hits a very large, stationary framed art that is hard and uncomfortable. It's not like I'm tall either, I'm 5'-3" and have to hunch down and I can't even lean back. There is no longer any comfy furniture. Everything is this awful wooden furniture that is not fit for people to work at with a laptop. Now for the countertop where they make your drinks, it is completely open to the public. Sneezes, coughs, touching things and all. Gross!! I am not the only person to feel this way either. When it first reopened, another lady expressed her disappointment as well. I gave it another try today and it's so bad. They need new furniture and to put some sort of plexiglass or some kind of barrier that is at least as high as their equipment between their working environment and the general public. Please fix!

This Starbucks appears to be an outlier. I paid for my drink, and walked away with two of them. Sure that's great, but after I'd taken a sip of the drink they said was mine, my actual order came up. Checked the label of the one I sipped, and it was for a drive-thru order. I'm all about freebies, but not at the expense of efficiency and quality control.

It's Starbucks we all know what it's about. My wife loves Starbucks so I got her a chai latte this morning to start her Friday off right. I don't really feel there's a need to review them anymore unless the service is exceptionally bad. In this case today the service was exceptionally good, however I am just not a big fan of chain coffee houses.

I love it here! I live about seven minutes from this Starbucks location, which is really convenient. I am currently preparing to take the GRE, and I come to this Starbucks to study. Great atmosphere! It's not as busy as compared to other Starbucks within the Richmond area. I believe this is a much bigger Starbucks than the one that is on Brad McNeer Parkway. Unlike that other location, this one has a big seating area. Plus, the staff here is very pleasant! There is some outdoor seating as well. There's also a drive thru, which is definitely a plus!

The coffee is absolutely delicious! I love the frappuccino and dragon drink. The only downside is it's a little pricey, but well worth it!

This Starbucks is so slow! Wait in the drive through is between 10-15 minutes long. Don't go here if you're in a hurry.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted by display cases filled with beautifully presented baked goods. It's the kind of place where you want to grab a tray and try a little bit of everything. It's nice to know that the case is full and fresh. We chose 3 items - pork floss & scallion bun was the clear winner. It was so good (5/5) and great price. The red bean bun was good (4/5). The almond pastry was fine (3/5) but I wanted it to have more flavor and moisture. Often, you get a little almond paste in the middle, but this was mostly dry with just almonds and cranberries on the outside. I didn't dislike it, but would not order again. They had strawberry and cream cake samples by the register. Those were also just okay 3/5). I got an Americano and we sat in a cute booth. Overall a nice breakfast and would try a few other items next visit!

They roast single origin coffees onsite and sell them in completely biodegradable pods, which only stay on their shelves for up to 30 days so the coffee always tastes super fresh. They are not like other biodegradable pods you may see for sale elsewhere, these actually ensure you get a fantastic cup of coffee each time. I started talking to the baristas, Lisa and Anastasia, and shared that I used to work for Starbucks and was amazed how the same coffee could taste completely different if it was prepared differently. Lisa promptly took out two bags of coffee and prepared a pour over of each. They were the same beans, but roasted at different temperatures. She gave tastes to me and another customer. It was amazing how different the coffees tasted, and they even had different colors. It was such a cool experience! I bought a box of Columbia medium roast pods, which I've been enjoying every day this week. They have several coffees available to try, along with pastries and made to order sandwiches. It's located in an industrial area, off the main road, but is well worth the trip if you're looking for some delicious coffee. It's become my go to coffee roaster in the Richmond area.

The service was phenomenal with our server being so kind to walk us through the menu and make multiple recommendations. We decided on the pork arepa and the steak platter which came with 2 sides, we got the fries and yucca. The steak was extremely tender and flavorful but the Arepa stole the show for me, filled with cheese and veggies. It was juicy, crunchy and just a perfect balance. A fried cornmeal patty with a fun filling may become my new go to thats how good it was. They also have some nice house sauces, one spicy and one mild which definitely elevates the dishes! My favorite was the mild green sauce which had a lovely herby undertone. The restaurant itself has a good mix of bar seating and low top tables, it was a bit cold inside when we walked in but they had a nice electric fireplace going which made the space very cozy. Definitely give this place a shot and try the Arepa! It is also definitely big enough for two if you want to try something else!

The greeter was as expected, very pleasant. The menu offered is a bit more limited than the previous establishment, absent my favorite, Cachapa, as well as drinks such as chicha and Parchita. I opted for the chicken patacon made with green plantains and the fried yuccas. The patacon was flavored well, though smaller than what I'm accustomed to. The yuccas were crispy on the exterior and soft on the inside. All in all. Not a bad experience. And while I most likely won't go out of my way visit, would definitely visit if I was in the area.
