I usually end up buying five bags every time I go in there. I have been getting them ground and they happily will do that for you, but I'm now trying the whole bean and grinding it myself and wow! They roast single origin coffees onsite and sell them in completely biodegradable pods, which only stay on their shelves for up to 30 days so the coffee always tastes super fresh. They are not like other biodegradable pods you may see for sale elsewhere, these actually ensure you get a fantastic cup of coffee each time. I started talking to the baristas, Lisa and Anastasia, and shared that I used to work for Starbucks and was amazed how the same coffee could taste completely different if it was prepared differently. Lisa promptly took out two bags of coffee and prepared a pour over of each. They were the same beans, but roasted at different temperatures. She gave tastes to me and another customer. It was amazing how different the coffees tasted, and they even had different colors. It was such a cool experience! I bought a box of Columbia medium roast pods, which I've been enjoying every day this week. They have several coffees available to try, along with pastries and made to order sandwiches.
