Our favourite area Starbucks, which we often go out of our way to patronize. It's a wholesome place with a friendly, competent and professional, service-oriented staff supplying the usual Starbucks products. Ample parking in a slightly awkward lot. Convenient drive-through. Online ordering and payment for easy pick-up. An open, woody, clean interior space. The washrooms most often are well maintained and properly stocked. A small outdoor seating corral with umbrella tables is provided, which is the source of our only complaints: it's overcrowded with seating and is not kept clean. True Story of my experience there today: The only Starbucks location where the manager can commandeer 5 empty cafe chairs for a personal kids party? As I return to my seat after putting cream in my coffee, someone approaches me and says, "you can't sit there, because there's a staff meeting?" As she's telling me that, I see birthday cupcakes and a birthday sign on one of the cafe chairs. Employees tell me when I ask if it's legit, "can't say anything. She's the manager." During the next hour, 20 party people occupy the five chair space also blocking the restrooms! I guess I did not realize that you could reserve sections of the cafe for "staff meetings-birthday parties". If that was the case, I'd have all my birthday parties there. read more

Your typical Starbucks joint. Went here on a weekday morning around 9am. I actually had placed a Mobile order for an Ice Americano in advance 10 minutes prior. When I got to the store, my drink wasn't ready, but it was no big deal. I had to order another drink (Hot Mocha Latte) for a friend, so I stayed in line. Somehow I got my in store ordered drink first before my mobile order I don't know how their system works, but I found that weird. Drinks tasted like your typical SB joint. I am thrilled at having a drive through location that's convenient for my commute and equally as happy to have a location that has good parking and is spacious for when I decide to do a bit of work while enjoying a coffee. I've noticed that people complain about the slowness of the drive through... I've only ever ordered iced coffees or teas so the service was never slow for me. I'm assuming that getting a more elaborate drink is going to take more time to receive than if you're ordering fast food from a drive through (just a thought). The inside is usually clean and there's a lot of seating options and outlets for those that like to work/study in Starbucks. It's definitely my go to location in this neighborhood. read more

I went through this drive-through because I happened to be in the area and was in desperate need of some coffee! I ordered without an issue or any wait time (it was not busy at that time) my coffee was delicious, the experience was as it usually is at any Sbucks location. That is, until I realized my debit card was missing later than evening. I figured I just dropped it in the car - but no such luck. There were no odd charges on it so I called Starbucks and lo and behold their employee forgot to give me my card back - at this point I'm annoyed, but only that I have to drive back as its out of my way but totally get it - human error. It happens. I made it to the location two days later (again, I don't live or work nearby) and was baffled - the employee (not the same one that took my order a few days ago) was beyonddddd rude! She seemed legitimately annoyed that I came in and that she now had to put some code in and wait for a safe to open. Seriously?! No hello, no positive attitude, no apology - nothing but rudeness. I was on a time crunch so when she said "It will take a few minutes" I asked "how long do you think?" and she repeated with pure annoyance "a FEW minutes". So let me get this straight, YOUR location forgot to give me my card back and I had to drive back here to pick it up and YOU are annoyed?! And all that without so much as an apology let alone trying to see how they can fix the poor experience. I am torn between 3-4 stars. The positive is by far the nicest barista Nee Nee. She is so cheerful and helpful. I came in to redeem by free birthday drink and couldn't get the app to work but she comped my drink anyway. Excellent customer service will keep me coming back. The negative is a bit random but a downfall. I walk to the store a lot (one of the only things in the hood that we can walk to). I have two kids in a double stroller. The one on Lincoln Ave. is super, super crowded so it's really nice they have a shiny new location to help disperse the traffic a bit. The cashier who helped me was super sweet. Most workers request me to repeat my order or do not and prepare the order incorrectly. The lady working did not question my order at all; she even read it back to us! We get to the window and it was almost instantly, she hands me a drink..before I even had my credit card out! Quick service indeed. Now let's get down to the dirty, dirty deets: the frappuccinos. Frappuccinos tend to be very inconsistent, even if you only ever visit the same one. Some can be watery, the cup may not be filled all the way, there is sometimes the presence of too much ice, or the staff could simply use the wrong milk...many tragedies can occur. This frappuccino in particular was prepared PERFECTLY. 162/10 would recommend visiting this Starbucks. read more

I don't generally have a lot of expectations when it comes to Starbucks, but this one happens to be a special level of not-great which is sad because it's the only one I hit on my commute. More often than not, both my food and drink order come out wrong, which is weird in that my order are generally things like "everything bagel with cream cheese" or "ice caramel coffee with cream," not anything fancy. It also happens to be extraordinarily slow, especially for a Starbucks. If you've got time to explain your order 6 times, then wait 5-10 minutes for it, then return it because it's wrong, then I guess you're okay. More often than not, I just pass. read more
