I ordered a cortado, which was excellent, and it came with a complimentary sparkling watersuch a unique and refreshing touch. I honestly wish more coffee shops did that. I also grabbed the chicken pesto panini, it was absolutely delicious and way more filling than I expected. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. This review is long overdue but well worth mentioning that it's one of my favorite coffee shops! I worked in the heart of Skompton for several months & C3 was my morning grace. Colin and Dolly are two of my favorite baristas of all time! My go-to drink is usually anything seasonal when it comes to their coffee and their iced drinks you can add different flavors of Red Bull. YUM. Really enjoy their photo wall art of all their different customers throughout the years. Overall just a really family friendly place to go if you're in the area getting some shopping done! This is a cute little coffee spot located next to the Best Buy at the Village Crossing outdoor mall in Niles. They have a small inside area and an enclosed outdoor seating area. We opted to sit outside. I initially ordered a drink that was like a chunky monkey (chocolate and banana). They had several drinks on their menu that had banana in them (and as evidenced on their new menu, there are no bananas anywhere on it). After I ordered it and ordered something to eat, they came outside and told me that they didn't have the banana syrup and have been out for a while. Okay, if you're out of something for a while, you should really update your menus or at least cross out the missing items so customers don't order it. This left me flummoxed as I didn't know what I wanted to order and even though no one was there, I felt rushed to order something different. I settled on a caramel macchiato and a chocolate croissant. Both were very good. And I'm glad they have altered their menu to reflect the fact that the banana syrup is no longer an option. I'll have to check back in and try a seasonal special treat and grab a different, new drink. read more

C3 Coffee Bar sits next to Best Buy in the plaza off Touhy/Central. There's plenty of free parking in the plaza parking lot. It's easy to access and park. There are outside seats for when the weather is appropriate, and there are plenty of seats inside as well. The store is well lit and cool spot to meet friends, hang out and chat, work on homework, etc. Staff were friendly and I was greeted quickly. The woman at the register was so nice and kind! She complimented my earrings which was so sweet. I let her know it was my first time in and she welcomed me. I picked from the Spring Specials menu, and chose the Un-matcha-ble- and iced lavender matcha with vanilla cold foam. This was definitely a hand-crafted beverage and took a few minutes to get. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing. C3 did a great job not having floral lavender take over the whole flavor of the drink and it was so light and spring-like! I look forward to trying their bakery snacks, as they were out for the day when I visited. This is a great little spot with friendly staff and tasty drinks! Whenever Im doing errands in the area I beg my bf to make a pit stop for a coffee at C3. This little shop is super cozy and they have the best seasonal specials. Not a coffee person? No problem! They have teas and Red Bull mixers that are equally good. I ordered the Bee Knees Latte and my bf ordered the Peach Please lemonade. Both were a wonderful sweet treat. The inside has a limited number of chairs, tables, and a soft but the light and foliage give it a bit of a trendy vibe. The drinks themselves are competitively priced with lots of different size options available. While the menu isn't enormous, it does cover all the basic coffee drinks available while offering additional options such as chai, tea, matcha, and hot chocolate. There's also quite a large selection of different iced drinks with flavor combinations available (ex. Red bull, sparking lemonade, or Italian soda with mango, pineapple, watermelon, etc. flavors). There's also a small selection of bakery goods such as croissant, donut, cookies, etc. to accompany your drink though I thought these items were a bit pricey. For me, the drinks I tried tasted like they were high quality, particularly the Sweater Weather seasonal fall special drink. The coffee tasted like it was brewed well and the sweetness was just about right. Overall, worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a nice coffee or other drink. I ordered a Driving me Coconuts latte and a Cosmos Sparkling Lemonade ice drink. The Driving me Coconuts was from their Spring specials menu, and it was pretty good. It was made with coconut milk and had hibiscus rose petal foam. My son liked the sparkling lemonade drink. He said it was refreshing. Very cool spot! You can customize your own drink from coffee, to tea, lemonades, and energy drinks! This is the first time I've seen a place like this near me that reminds me of Dutch Bros! A great little shop in the area. I always pass by this place to go to the other shops and I'm so sad that I didn't try it until now! Firstly, I love the colors of the store. Green and Purple is a personal favorite of mine. The staff was great to talk to and very courteous. Second, the food look really good! I wish I tried more but I did get their coffee donut. They have a fun name for the donut but I just don't remember it. Just trust, it was so good! Great flavor, isn't too sweet, the dough was still moist and not dry like some doughnuts get, and the flavor of the icing on top mixed well together. Now the icing on the cake for me? Their infusion drinks have RED BULL. I LOVE CAFFEINE! I got the 44 berry drink with red bull mixed and it's so good! My husband and I went to C3 Coffee Bar based on the recommendations of some fellow Yelpers. When we walked in the seating looked comfortable and inviting. The cashiers and servers were nice and welcoming. I ordered a hot chocolate while my husband got the Sweater Weather (their version of a pumpkin spice latte). The hot chchocolate was rich and flavorful, while the Sweater Weather was too spicy to taste the coffee in the drink. This place is perfect to visit when the weather is beautiful. I went out when it was sunny but loved how there was shade in the outdoor seating area. The cafe is clean, bright, and colorful. The workers were super nice and I was able to get my drink within 5 minutes. I ordered a matcha latte with lavender and I didn't think it was the best. It wasn't strong in either flavor as I hoped. I'm trying to try a new one every time I go now haha! The way it works is you choose a base of lemonade, iced tea, redbull or club soda. Then you choose a flavor combo from the menu. (my personal favorite is a split combo of lemonade and club soda as the base!) The Eclipse is my current favorite - grapefruit, lime, squirt, and club soda! The possibilities are endless and you really cannot go wrong with any of them. I really like that the place is clean and the staff is very friendly. A lot of parking available. They have plenty of outdoor seating and are open late for the summer. They also serve Coffee, hot chocolate, and even pastries. I got an iced matcha latte. You can choose to have unsweetened vs sweetened (I chose the unsweetened one). The matcha was really good and I think they used real matcha vs most places use the powdered version with added sugar. It was a little milky for my taste - i wish it had more matcha and less milk. The prices were pretty good in comparison to other places, especially the pastries. I also tried the mini ham and cheese croissant which was yummy. It had a thick slice of ham and cheese and was a pretty big croissant for being "mini." The coffee shop was also cute and the baristas were nice and quick. read more

A fair share of positives as well as a fair share of negatives cause me to give C3 a very average score. To start with, by virtue of its location in a suburban shopping "mall" it is not very warm and inviting. They've done their best with the decor and seating but it will just never have a cool or warm vibe. However, the owner that was there did give off a warm vibe, very pleasant. Our main concern, of course, was with the coffee. My husband thought his espresso was fine but my latte was watery and lacked flavor. I noticed an empty small pastry display. As I usually say in my reviews, I do wish for their success but I think they could use some advice from successful coffee shop operators. read more

Anywho, it was our first time here and the two baristas were too cute, kind and helpful. My bf had a regular sized iced mocha with oat milk and a pump of hazelnut while I had a regular black tea Helios iced infusion. My drink literally had a black tea base with peach and mango flavoring. Recently, I've been on a mango and peach kick so don't judge me. It was actually very tasty and refreshing. My bf enjoyed his drink as well but said it was a little too creamy. That was probably my fault because I ordered for him and I basically like my coffee as sweet as a candy bar. Ha! Overall, the drinks were yummy and although it is a trek to get here, if we are back in the area, I wouldn't mind popping by again. Been here 2x and have been happy with the service. Romanian family running the show... the place is clean, the coffee and the tea with the brownie i had were good. Free WIFI on the premises a d seating inside and some outside, so after your shopping (located next to the Best Buy) you can sit here on a nice sunny day and relax. You can pick from a variety of flavors and add it into ice tea, Red Bull it'd soda water. The menu was different than I was used to seeing at other shops so the barista there took time to explain it to me very nicely. I mentioned that I don't like overly sweet drinks so she recommended getting soda water as a base and ordering it half sweet. My drink was really good, it was still a bit sweet for my taste so I'm glad she told me to order half sweet or it would've been way overpowering but it was still very enjoyable.
