Warning!! Rude cashier!! My friends and I walk in and we did not get a greeting of hello like all the Starbucks I been to. There were a few employees just standing there. Not sure if the Managers read these reviews but the girl at the window today 1/31/24 around 4pm did an excellent job making sure my order was correct and was very pleasant doing so. It was storming and she very well could have left my order a "chocolate mocha" but confirmed she didn't catch if it was white mocha or regular mocha due to the feedback in the drive thru. She made sure in fact my order was a white mocha and got it out to me in a timely manner. read more

We finally have a Starbucks on this end of the county. It's average as far as Starbucks goes. The service is friendly, but because all the employees are brand new it can be slow, and they make mistakes. They also don't get the products in like the bigger city stores, so they are constantly out of various items. Gotta give them props for keeping a good attitude when customers can be very rude if they are out of something, or the order tastes slightly different than normal because they are just learning. They cheerfully remake it with a genuine smile. read more

The drinks aren't the same every time, if you order food you better give yourself 30-45 minutes. The staff at this location appear inept it most things. Sister's coffee over by the Safeway is 100 times better but with limited food selection. The people are also nicer. read more

I was only customer, then followed by 2 more. 8 staff- ALL BUT ONE- chatting or only attending to drive thru. Two customers AFTER ME, received items first (young, and clearly known to staff.) I was patient, but grew frustrated only ONE PERSON out of 8 was actually prepping the drinks. I won't get those 18 minutes of my life back, nor will we EVER return. Oh, place was a MESS! Service was abysmally slow, drink orders were incorrect, one drink came out cold (like they literally didn't hear the milk), and the staff was completely unorganized. I have gone there at least 3 times a week since they opened. Today I had the most disrespectful drive thru person. It was the worst service I have ever received from a fast food/ coffee place. When I called to talk to the manager a shift supervisor gave me the run around about why I couldn't speak with her. They would not give me any phone numbers to speak with a district manager. They hung up on my twice claiming they were having phone issues. I had to call another Starbucks out of the area and they gave me all the information Clearlake's Starbucks was "unable to provide". So it's scary to see all the bad reviews I order one drink only and they don't make it anymore a marble mocha macchiato & my boyfriend gets it for me every day. first couple time it's was ehh but I still order it but since then it has been perfect no problems plus two cake pops they no him and his order now. This a new place they are trying and it is always packed but come on only Starbucks around besides Lakeport. I see a lot of comments about the manager to I've never met her but a new thing can cause a lot of stress. I hope they start to get the flow of things because coffee is life. read more

I was so excited when I was told a Starbucks was coming to this town! If you're in a rush please don't come to Starbucks. If you decide to come here make sure you give yourself at least 40min. because it took over 30min. For us to get our drinks and other people were waiting longer... They were getting mobile orders and drive through orders first and those who were coming into the store were definitely not a priority and customer services was none existing. They were also out of a lot a lot of items. However, I gave them two stars because I know it's a new location and staff were trying their best. But, the customer service and efficiency wasn't there.... So, don't come here if you're in a rush. Make sure you plan ahead or have plenty of time to wait for your drinks. By the time we got our drinks our pastries were too cold to enjoy! The drinks were also horrible my chai latte did I not taste like a latte but just water when I clearly said light water... I really have always liked my drinks and food. may take awhile to get though! the people are super nice. this is coffee with a nuance and you just love it! really! Many coffee shops have started making nuanced super coffe drinks and I appreciate that. Starbucks has great low-fat high protein food choices. they need a full time cleaner though because of the traffic. these people deserve a tip! and they should not be expected to clean and serve! read more

Like a previous poster I gave 2 stars because it is a new location, &the young kids in there are trying to figure things out. Aside from my personal opinion about Starbucks' views &values, gotta try everything once so I did. Upon waiting for my 4 drink mobile order I watch a barista flip over flow whipped cream back up into a gentleman's coffee multiple times before putting the lid on and handing it to him. No gloves, bare handed. Covid or not I'd rather not have a strangers fingers continuously contaminating my beverage. When I did get my order I was told to take 2 drinks to my car &come back in to get the rest as they did not have drink carriers. I had to park all the way in front of Carl's Jr due to the drive thru line blocking most of their parking. Getting home with our beverages, the Vanilla Creme my 3 year old got was the best tasting of all 4 drinks. I didn't even finish my coffee. It's not even the drinks that are bad at this Starbucks I totally understand they are new to the huge menu and special drinks people order , but it's the workers period, no sense of urgency, no positive attitudes , no smiles , so many employees and no one working , it's like they were bothered to take orders and make drinks which is what they signed up for when they got hired , I never been to a Starbucks with employees like this , I visit Clearlake once a month and love the people here... Walmart , Safeway, grocery outlet , iga, , Jack in the box , dollar tree , thrift stores and especially my favorite McDonald's ( best customer service ever) all have the best genuine positive people working for them , I enjoy coming to this small town and shopping because of these nice people who up lift customers.. Pulled through the drive through submited my online order which i do at every starbucks i gotto. There were maybe 2-3 ahead of me. I pulled up to the speaker and the guy told me to HOLD before i can say anything. I held for a while So i just pulled where i sat at the window waiting and waiting . You can clearly see all the employees inside chatting laughing and taking shots of drinks not attending to the customers. FINALLY when the girl opened the window she began to hand me a drink saying out the total i said no i have a mobile order. She replied huh. Which i had to repeat two more times. She leaves the window . I tell her my drink should be a pink lemonade refresher she leaves and gets a light skinned girl who rudely tells me to tell them at the order screen i have a mobile order because theyre all lined up, she closed the window and walked off. I SELECTED DRIVE-THRU ON THE APP WHICH I NEVER HAD ISSUES AT ANY OTHER STARBUCKS BEFORE they had my drink ready to go. Had they not of been taking shots tasting drinks and having a good old time like they were the guest unable to MULTITASK maybe orders would be CORRECT, and out in a timely manner. Im sooo disapointed in Starbucks clearlake. I wish i woulda recorded the unprofessionalism that they had going on. Everytime I come to starbucks theres a certain employee that is always rude and ALWAYS gets my order wrong. Today I went in asking for a venti iced espresso with 2 shots only because 3 shots makes me shaky. She charged me 13 for only that drink n I was confused but didn't say anything. Well I got 2 grande iced drinks instead with 3 shots each and I told the barista thats not what I asked for and she seemed stressed n mad n said if she could just put them in a trenta. I was really mad but I didn't want to say no because I didn't want to argue so I took it. Well I had to throw it away because it was wayyy to strong for me because it literally had 6 shots in total. So I returned and asked for Steph because she is always nice and always puts my order in right and always goes an extra mile to make it right. So I gave it a 3 stars instead of a 1 because of Steph.
