Judy's Junction looks like a classic diner and has that kind of vibe. It's spacious and comfortable. It seemed like there were a lot of regular, daily customers which was a good sign. Service was friendly and attentive. We were checked on throughout our meal. Six of us came here for lunch after a boat ride; and it's good that breakfast items were available along with lunch choices. We ordered very different foods: House Made Corned Beef Hash, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Sourdough Burger with American Cheese, Pork Chop, Diced Ham and Eggs and a bowl of Cream of Broccoli Soup. Food was delicious and portions were very generous. The burgers were fantastic. The pork chop was very well prepared and moist. The corn beef hash was tasty. The soup was a bit salty. Classic roadside diner with friendly and attentive staff serving up delicious, hearty food. Dined on a recent Sunday morning (8:30A) as a party of three and the place was more than half full, with several family groups dining in. We didn't wait long after ordering for our dishes to come out. Our server was quite energetic and checked in often to top off our coffees, no doubt anticipating an impending breakfast rush. I quite enjoyed The Trucker and was pleasantly surprised by the big, fluffy biscuit slathered with country gravy, a breakfast favorite! I ended up taking most of the biscuit home with the sausages because I ate the eggs, bacon, and fruit there. Old school dining experience (like back in the 50's & 60's I think. I usually have breakfast there, but have also had lunch too. Hearty size meals and cooked just right. We stopped in for lunch today. I ordered a French Dip and my wife ordered the California Chicken Sandwich. We both had fries with our meals. The portions were definitely generous. A lot of beef on my sandwich for sure! The roll it was served on was kind of a variation of a Dutch Crunch. The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy! Service was good. Anything we asked for was served straightaway. The only thing that might have been nice would have been to have drink refills offered, other than that, everything was great. The decor is kind of old school diner, reminds me of the places my parents used to take me when I was a little kid. I enjoyed the mental stroll down memory lane. Prices are not cheap. But nothing in our state is anymore. It was close to $40 for two sandwiches and an iced tea. I won't hold it against 'em, I'm sure we'll be back. LOL read more

When you come to this place for the first time after reading the stellar reviews - is that on the outside it appears a little worn out. And even upon the entering you come into some place needing a little update. I ordered a patty melt - to me a patty melt is a great test of a diner. There's more to one than a patty on bread with onions. There's bread should be rye and toasted in butter. I could go on and on about how well this patty melt came out. It's was great! Fries were plentiful and tasty. Good quality stuff. My friend got the burger and onion rings and he was thoroughly happy with the little things like how they butter fried his bun. My conclusion is - don't worry about what place looks like. The service and the food are excellent. If I ever find myself passing here again I will visit. I look forward to their pancakes. I was going down the roadway and I spotted the joint as I passed it. Being hungry, I decided to turn around. The place looks a bit rundown from the outside and the interior wasn't updated a well. It has a country kitchen theme and it works for them. I saw that the corned beef hash as homemade, who's home I don't know, but I gave it a chance. What came was voluminous, so for those of you who love lots of food, this is your place. The dish was above average and if I'm ever in the area again, I'd probably order it again, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. If you are serving toast, make it hot and butter it right. Not just the blob butter in the center of cold bread. Best solution I ever saw was melted butter and a brush...perfect toast every time. My partner wanted biscuits and gravey, and this breakfast also included 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. We split it, and we almost had to roll out of there. It was also a great deal!!! Second, they did not soak the bread, they simply dipped one side and it tasted and looked like they cracked an egg and fried it on the bread. At first I tried to drown it in syrup but then I had to peel the eggy layer off and in order to make it edible. I would've just tossed it had I not paid almost $4 for one piece of bread. I can't say enough about Judy's Junction's food and service. This place has a definite diner atmosphere but is clean and that's all that really matters to me on ambiance. What is fantastic is the wait staff, they are always pleasant even when the place is packed! Service is fast! Food so far has been exceptional and generous!
