The price is usually about the same, or cheaper. The baristas are quick and efficient. I've never experienced a long wait, even when it is busy. The ambiance encourages you to sip and stay. Community groups, including my own, love to come here and relax with a coffee before going to events or meetings. Whether you choose to sit outside, inside, or take it to go, this place is always a treat.

However, the rotating specials are always a hit too.

I only come here now cause it's closest to me, but the employees NEVER say good morning when I enter and the store manager is there and also says nothing!!! He actually seems a bit smug. One day after buying a coffee and sitting there working, I went up to get a refill... he gave me the 3rd degree --- asked me 3 times if this was my same visit. I repeatedly told him yes. Dude it's a 50 cent refill --- CHILL OUT!!! Also whoever is dusting IS NOT doing a very good job, I see the SAME SPIDER WEBS in the corner EVERY TIME I come to this rude establishment. NO I don't buy right away, but should I have to in order to be respected. Sometimes I sit there and read, does that give you the right to be rude. Sometimes I just come to study for a test, so that makes it ok for you to make your customers feel like shit!!! REALLY STARBUCKS!!! If I didn't have to be here because of my living situation, I certainly wouldn't be. Store manager really needs an attitude adjustment; he's very judgmental and the staff needs to be nicer when ANYONE walks into your store SAY GOOD MORNING!! ACKNOWLEDGE THE CUSTOMER or POTENTIAL CUSTOMER!!! That's something they should have taught you in Starbucks school or maybe it's just this Collinsville location. Get it together!!! read more

Let me start by saying that I don't want a free beverage or credit. This is meant to be constructive criticism to improve service. I go to the Collinsville Starbucks 3-5 times a week for my favorite beverage. I'm disappointed this morning because the customer service was lackluster. My beverage wasn't right. I pointed out the issue and was expecting it would be remade. Instead, I was met with excuses as to why it wasn't made correctly. I didn't have time to hang around and argue the issue. Usually the beverage I order is made correctly, but sometimes I have to ask for it to be remade. Usually I'm met with a smile, a friendly apology, and a correctly made beverage. This is the service I've come to expect from a Starbucks. For $6-7, I expect good customer service as well as the correct beverage. Come on Starbucks, do better. You're better than this. read more

First off I would like to say that I (we) visit Starbucks quite often but today was terrible. Today is St. Patricks Day, and we are a Business, so we decided to place an order, as we do on all Holidays. Needless to say our employee is still there... 1 1/2 hours later. They lost our order. He kept telling them he needs to get back to work. We have a full Restaurant and full Lobby. I called them and they said " We will get to this order as soon as we can" . I told him he needed to get back to work...Just get our money back but they said they could not do it. I have heard from several other people that this location has went downhill but I usually don't listen to people since I have never had a problem, until now. I just wanted to let you all know that this has upset alot of people. I usually don't write reviews but today I was very upset. read more

It's so refreshing to have great service beyond just a transaction. we joked around a bit how the computers were down because I know that can be a very stressful situation, especially for a crazy business like Starbucks.
