I've been to this location many times in the past and always had good experiences. I like that it's located not too far from I-25. Perfect for a grab and go when traveling north or south on the freeway. Yesterday was my most recent visit. I stopped to grab a coffee before running an errand. This location is generally busy and I understand why. It's located in The Promenade at Briargate. This Starbucks is a smaller one in my opinion. The young lady who took my order was friendly and professional. What impressed me the most is that she offered my Cortado order for here (dine-in) or to go. That's not something offered much at Starbucks. Usually you must ask for dine-in (ceramic mug). As always, Cortado was excellent. They got my order right too. I asked for SF vanilla syrup. I enjoyed my beverage at a long counter facing big bay windows. I had the whole counter to myself which was even more enjoyable. My only feedback would be, expand the dining area! It can get crowded around the barista area and creamer station. I'm sure that I will return here again! read more

Stopped by Starbucks for the first time in a long while at the Briargate location after shopping today (2:45 PM, Store 0779, Drawer 2, Register 2). The service was poor. The cashier was completely disengaged with a personality of a barren stick, and the two employees making drinks were more focused on chatting with each other than acknowledging customers waiting for their orders. We paid $13.42 for two very mediocre, bitter coffees. Between the lack of basic customer service and the overpriced drinks, this was a reminder of why I don't frequent Starbucks anymore. Should've gone down the street to Dutch Bros, where the staff is friendly and the coffee is actually enjoyable. read more

I don't know why this Starbucks doesn't have better reviews so I decided to post one. First off, the service was incredible. The staff was so nice. My drink was phenomenal, which I have to admit is usually hit or miss (I'm visiting from Las Vegas, so I speak from Vegas Starbucks). I ordered the bacon, egg and Gouda sandwich which was amazing, and my son got the pumpkin bread which he inhaled. Love the location, drinks, food, and most importantly, the service. I guess this would count as my "local" Starbucks. It's the closest to the house but sadly it doesn't have a drive through do to it location. The lack of a drive through and ability to find a close spot to park during weekday mornings when I'm looking to grab a quick coffee causes me to really only come here on the weekend. The baristas are always nice and tend to have some very interesting conversations! Te weekends offers a fairly empty space and allows you to just sit and chill to enjoy your beverage of choice. If you come during the week there is usually a sea of laptops and iPads with folks tip-tapping away while consuming some java. So are talking to themselves (Bluetooth) and others are just simply people watching while trying to look like they are actually being productive. I for one just enjoy people watching...and this Starbucks is one of the best to do just that. read more

Hadn't had anything to eat or drink in 6 hours since I woke up. Stopped here for my "usual" (Venti Passion Tea Lemonade, Sweetened) and a chocolate chip cookie. Why four stars? - I did not have to drag some funky bathroom key to the men's restroom (and the restroom was clean) - The cookie was nice and soft (not hard because it's been sitting in a fridge or just been taken out of the freezer). - Internet service was quick. - Got a view of the mountains. - They made the drink EXACTLY how I like it. Two things really wrong with this location: it's too small and the parking is horrible. They've recently remodeled which was a waste of money in my view because it changed nothing. I have no idea why Starbucks thought it was ok to build a coffee shop the size of my living room in such a highly populated area. In addition there are many businesses and organizations nearby to add to the residential population. Beyond that it's way at the end of the strip mall which makes it even harder to get to. It's impossible to have a business conversation or meeting because it's cramped and loud. The parking lot is hard to get in and out of and it's tight. Again, I can't really think of one good reason why Starbucks would approve of this model. I routinely avoid this location. read more

The only thing I don't like about it is that it's hard to get to, you have to meander around the parking lot at the Shops at Briargate to get there. Then there's the fact that 85% of the parking spaces are sized for "compact" cars, and someone in an Expedition is taking up two of them. But if you're at the Shops anyway, stop by and take a break. There has been multiple issues at this location, and I'm not the only one where we order from the app and we wait the amounted time and walk in to see no drinks ready and the barista CLEANING!!! I'm in Colorado Springs for a training course and I've been to this Starbucks every day. All of the staff I've interacted with are incredibly friendly! They greeted me with a smile and a hello as soon as I walked in. Today was the icing on the cake. One of the staff was walking around asking us if we would like to sample a chocolate croissant and also asked if we would like some water. Truly over the top exceptional service! read more

I just ordered a tall iced chai as my husband and I were headed to a Friday night football game. I received my drink and there was so much ice (from top to bottom) that there was barely any tea in it. I asked the man behind the counter if he could remake it for me with less ice. He did but not without an attitude and a scolding on how I should have ordered it with "light ice". I appreciate that information and will know now for next time. I took my new drink (which was watered down) and thanked him for his trouble. My husband and I sat in the chairs over by the window by the doors closest to the parking lot. Just as soon as I sat down this rude man (who made my drink) went into detail talking to the female working the register about how it made him mad that I asked for him to remake my drink and how I accidentally spilled some of my tea on the bar that he was not happy to clean up. He kept staring at me with this evil stare and had a very rude demeanor about him that did not make me feel welcome nor at peace as I sat enjoying my time with my husband. Because of that, we decided to leave. I have to say, I have never experienced such an attitude and rude behavior from a Starbucks employee, nor have I had one give me the dirtiest of looks. If it was possible he would have shot fire out of his eyes. I would not recommend this store as long as this guy is working in it! I didn't dare go back to get a new tea the second time in fear of having the guy chew me out for complaining or being a "pain in his ass". Whatever happened to customer service? I just came from the Starbucks and just have to write a review. It was super super busy when I walked in, there was a line of about 10 people. I was expecting to be there for a while. However, the people that work there just at such excellent service that it took but 10 minutes, and I'm not exaggerating.The lady that rang me Up was super friendly and greeted everyone with a smile, too bad I didn't catch your name. Then there is the guy making the coffee, Adam. He was so quick, made all the orders right, And you could hear enthusiasm and his voice when he was calling names and drinks. Some of the most unfriendly Starbucks employees I've encountered. I approached the counter and "Ryan" just stared blankly at me. No, "What can I get you?" or any indication that he was ready to take my order. While waiting for my drinks, I noticed the barista trying to put a lid on the drink she just made. With the coffee in one hand she grabbed a small stack of lids with the other and stuck them in her mouth to facilitate their separation. Ew. After finishing my order she put the beverages in the drink carrier and went back to her business. Nope, not even a "Arthur, your order's ready." Ordered three coffees one came out right away and waited on two for about 15 min when politely asked about our drinks the "delightful" cashier rudely turned her back and told the barista to make them (only to correct the drinks she just told him, because she got them wrong again) and THEN muttered to them saying we were rude. Used to love this location until my experience with one of the baristas went horribly. I had no idea an employee could ruin my day the way she did. I am handicapped and use a cane or a walker most days, but on this day I was using my cane when I came. I made it up to the register and let me tell you it was not Molly's day. I told Molly my order and it seemed like she was putting it in the register but then she looked up at me and she told me it was not my turn yet to order. I was confused as I thought she heard me and she was inserting it into the register. It seemed like she had acknowledged my order and was putting it in the register. Molly then walked off to the side where she was out of view and nowhere to be found. I waited at the register until she came back, and she seemed heavily annoyed after seeing that I was still standing there, waiting. I usually don't have any problems with this location, so today surprised me. I ordered the same drink as I did yesterday only today was almost a dollar more expensive? I don't understand that at all. Also, I've worked in restaurants, retail, and customer service in general for many years...why in the heck was NO ONE smiling???! The girl making the drinks, I almost asked if she hated her job. I never saw her smile once, or even make eye contact with patrons talking to her. She almost looked annoyed when people asked her for a straw or a stopper. Uh, that's your job? I stood right in front of her and she never even acknowledged my presence. There was also a man who had been waiting on a sandwich for a while and when he asked where it was the response was, "we called for it, someone else must have taken it." She went to get another one and then just said, "I'm sorry." It was not at all sincere. All I could do was shake my head.
