I made a quick stop at this Starbucks to grab a drink on our drive from Indy to Louisville. This store had a lot of outdoor seating area in front of the store. Inside the store, it was super nice, cozy seating area, long horizontal counter and pick up area, with their merchandise shelf in one corner. Their drive thru lane was also very popular. They had a lot of the bakery items on display. Most of the drinks were available as well. I ordered my favorite drink chocolate chip cappuccino with whip cream. My daughter got a valentine cake pop that she ate up in minutes. Surprisingly I had to wait about 10 minutes to get my drink. But the drink was made well, liked the taste of it. read more

Lower your expectations to minimum. 13 of 14 breakfast items were sold out on a Saturday, leaving one I never eat. I ordered my usual drink anyway. Eventually, it arrived, but was unmarked as to my name, just the drink on the counter. No announcement. The place was slammed, insufficient personnel, those there looked pretty harried. Eventually, I grabbed what might be my unnamed drink because it looked like what ought to be mine. Someone deciphered it. Yeah, my drink. Go somewhere else where they care, manage their employees, have enough to do the job, and do the job right. It won't be here, in my personal experience. Does Starbucks corporate want to know why their sales are falling? Take this as an example, please. Doing a bad job is not rewarding. Comfortable though noisy, the wifi works well and there are power outlets at every seat. I tried something new this morning - "espresso con panna" - which ended up being a single shot of espresso in a short cup that was completely filled to the top with whipped cream. Starbucks app shows they are open until 1:30pm on Christmas. Arrived at 1:10pm only to be told they decided to close early at 1pm. Look, I get that it's Christmas and people want to be with their families. If it was up to me they wouldn't be open at all. But, if you're going to close after previously saying you'll be open, all you have to do is update the app so your loyal customers know what to expect. The app is where corporate Starbucks directs people to check store hours on holidays. You should either follow the schedule listed there or update it if it's wrong. After waiting in line for 15 minutes in the drive through, I finally got my drink. I ordered a macchiato and asked for whipped cream on top with caramel drizzle. When I got my drink, there was no whip or caramel so I asked them to add it. The girl got very defensive and said it melted. I said ok, please add more then. She said why? It will just melt again because we pour the foam on top which made no sense. She took my drink, pretended to add it whip, and handed it back to me very rudely. Guys, you have to check to make sure your expectations are in line with the products and service being offered. This is a Starbucks located near an interstate. And located within a city. There's an abundance of hotels, retail, offices, and residential within the area. It isn't going to be quick. But if you're a traveler coming through, your options are pretty slim pickings on I-65. Pretty certain this is the only Starbucks between Indianapolis and Louisville once you get outside of the Indy metro area. They made my drink correctly. I used the app to order to skip the line. Restrooms were clean (way cleaner than the gas station I found in the middle of nowhere). What more could you ask for? read more

You would think a Starbucks is a Starbucks, and they would be able to make a decent coffee drink. For whatever the reason, this wasn't the case. This Starbucks was a pretty decent sized free standing location, complete with a drive through, inside setting, including some comfy over-sized chairs, and a nice outside patio. Hey, they even had some interesting art decoration on the outside of the building. The issue that I have with this Starbucks is with the drinks itself. This Starbucks they never say hello. They won't respond when you try to ask them a question. I had a barista there tell me one time that 1% milk is only available in Canada. Never mind that I've have ordered it for years. Why would you lie to the customer? But this time, they wouldn't talk to me at all. The woman making the egg bites kept wandering around with my food never making it more than halfway to where I was standing (it was a mobile order and I was at the mobile counter) and then would go back and put it back next to the stove. I tried to get anyone's attention to get my food, but no one would answer me. Finally I got the cook's attention when she wandered around carrying my food for the 3rd or 4th time and got my food from her. The bag was crumpled and had food smudges on it (see photo). My egg bites were cold and mushy. It was disgusting. I complained online and they gave me $8. That isn't what I wanted at all. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced with a Starbucks. There was a very sweet girl that was obviously new and a gentleman helping her. They were great. The loud, old woman that came to the window to very rudely "school" me on my order and what "breve" style means (even though this has been my same order for years). She then asks.. me... real.. slow.. questions.. as though she was speaking to a 4 year old. Stopped by on a road trip. Very easy access. They were super busy so I can't give a full review. I knocked off one star because it wasn't super clean (It was rainy outside and tons of customers inside so Its expected) and they didn't have my drink ready. (Something with their sticker maker). It added an extra 10 minutes to my trip even though I ordered ahead. Taylor, however, noticed I had been waiting and asked my order than immediately made my drink for me. I appreciated that so much. Having now read the reviews, and having experienced this place first hand, I'm surprised the good people at Starbucks HQ haven't had the sense to shut this place down for a while and sort out its operation. Here's what I experienced: - A 30-minute wait for my Americano, which I only received after reminding them twice about it. - A swarm of flies in a generally filthy establishment. The condiment bar, the bathrooms, the floors, the tables, and really everything seemed not to have been cleaned in a while. - Confused, flustered, and overworked staff. I stop at this Starbucks on my way to or from Indianapolis because they're wonderful and I am old. I don't need fuel for the car, I need fuel for me. I also need a clean bathroom (I am old). This Starbucks is clean, the staff is quick but has the lack of personality or friendliness I associate with this part of the Midwest United States: everyone is really literal and bothered by questions. I am lactose intolerant, and had specifically asked for no whipped cream on my beverage, it was even penned on my cup, but there was still whipped cream on my drink. Don't bother coming to this Starbucks. I waited in line to get my drink and the barista lady just started making the drinks for her friends who had been in line behind me. I stood there waiting and finally she asked what I was waiting on. Turns out my mocha had just been sitting under the espresso machine waiting to be completed. Been here twice. First time the young kid who took my order had no idea what a black eye was (and every Starbucks I have ever been to knows it is two shots of espresso in coffee) and was sort of salty about it - like I was purposefully trying to trip him up or something. Also left me standing there through four more customer transactions because they "forgot" the cookie I had ordered. Second time. I have an older woman with short grey hair taking my order. I say I want a venti iced Americano with room and 3 pumps caramel syrup. Easy enough, right? I get my drink and it is an iced caramel macchiato with room and extra caramel syrup. It was easily the most disgusting drink I have ever had (I find the sweet drinks to be overly sweet to begin with, and then to ADD MORE... Gah). And of course I couldn't bring it to anyone's attention because the line was out the door and forget trying to interrupt anyone!
