The menu is simple, but has enough variety for most all tastes. We started with coffee, designer style for the Christmas holiday. Both were crafted with care and delicious. Our main order consisted of a full order B & G, and a biscuit sandwich consisting of bacon, egg, and cheese. Both items were prepared fresh and delivered to our table in short order. The biscuits and gravy had a wonderful taste, perfectly seasoned and proportion. The sandwich was also a tasty treat, noting the bacon cooked to a crispy perfection! Shout out for the biscuits! I got a bagel with schmear, a zebra (chocolate crinkle) cookie, and one of the February specials called "Opposites Attract" which was a raspberry chai latte. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.

Not too sweet and the matcha was the star. While I got mine to go, this would be a great place to meet someone for breakfast or lunch as they also serve some bakery items like açaí bowls, juices and sandwiches. The decor is fun, with literary vibes and there are some cool artwork on the walls too, including a mural. Loved chatting with the owner and the barista working the front counter who advised me on what flavor matcha to get. I will definitely go back to try some other things!

I went outside listened to 3 songs, back in, still no drink, went back out- 2 more songs, back in, still nothing. Ordered at 11:15, drink was done at 11:51. I think good business would have been upping my size for free, or a coupon, or even a thanks for your patience. A simple, "Thanks," while kind enough, caught me off guard. Any gesture to recognize that wait was unreasonably long would have sufficed. The juice was still delicious, I can't lie. I don't know if it's staffing (2 employees on Sat. morning- no Now Hiring sign tho) or what, but if you are in any kind of time crunch, I'd probably avoid the wait. If you are on vacation time- by all means- go enjoy their offerings.
