Clean store and efficient service. I came here on a Monday morning around 9:45 a.m. There was a long line but the staff got through it quickly. I was greeted by a friendly cashier who helped make order as soon as I paid. The wait was about 10 minutes but then I got my 2 drinks almost instantly. This is a great Starbucks with well made coffee, friendly employees and clean bathrooms. We stopped in today to get some drinks and food for breakfast. Placed an order with six different items via the mobile app. Everything was ready within about 5 minutes which was great. The only downside was that parking was a little bit tight. This is the Starbucks on University across from Trader Joe's. Walk in during fall and it's like being hit with a cinnamon-scented freight train. Pumpkin Spice has taken over so hard, I'm half convinced they're pumping it through the AC vents. Forget Christmas--this is the real "most wonderful time of the year." The drinks? Same as every other Starbucks on Earth. Consistent, reliable, and slightly disappointing--like streaming the last season of your favorite show just because you've already invested too much time to quit. The baristas here are actually nice, which helps. Nothing says "late-stage capitalism but make it cozy" like a smiling twenty-something spelling your name wrong on a $7 cup of hot sugar. This was probably the first Starbucks I ever visited. Having lived in northwest Broward County for almost twenty years, this is the one most frequented by our family. I know I have reviewed it through the years, but for some reason the system is prompting me to write another review. Therefore, all I can say is that I have yet to have a negative experience here, except for one visit where I could recall sitting outside because there were no other chairs indoors. On this particular visit, there was a man sitting and smoking up a storm. He was inconsiderate of every other non-smoker around him trying to eat their food and sip or slurp their prepared drinks. Oh yeah, now I think I know why they removed the previous review--I spoke about the experience. Moving on, our food was delicious and our drinks were prepared just like we like and ordered them. We had to eat/drink them on the way home and not enjoy a sit-down, but the store manager is not fully to blame. Besides this, the food is fresh and their signature products are well made! read more

Definitely a very busy Starbucks! Right off of University. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I went the other day when they were 15-20 minutes behind on orders. Honestly the staff was really nice and trying their best to speed back up orders accurately. They handled angry customers well and kept everyone informed on timing. You really couldn't ask for more. I only had to wait an extra few minutes for my mobile order. Drinks tasted great! I loved the design of this location and if it was less busy, would have definitely stayed to relax or work in the cafe. Probably will in the future! read more

I've been a Gold member of Starbucks for over 10 years. Upon moving to Coral Springs a year ago, the closest location to me is this one and the service is consistently terrible. The food and drinks taste as they always do, but the service is just excruciatingly slow every. single. time. Doesn't matter if you place a mobile order or order onsite, either way you'll be waiting for a minimum of fifteen minutes. I think they just don't have enough staff, but it's been a while and things haven't improved. I literally opened a Yelp account JUST to make this review in the effort to push corporate to help them with hiring. They need it. I placed my drink order at 8:50, the order was meant to be ready at 9:01, I didn't receive it until 9:10. And there was (and always is no matter the time of day) a huge delay and a line of people waiting for their orders too. Please help them! read more

I order on the mobile app so that my order is ready when I get to the location, today I waited 30 min after my drive to the location for my order. My order came out 1 by 1 over those 30 min. Saturday morning at 9am and the line was out the door which didn't surprise me since the store is located in The Walk; a very popular (and large) plaza on University Drive. The line moved quickly which was awesome. The baristas were friendly considering they were serving several cranky customers who haven't had their morning coffee yet. I waited about ten minutes which wasn't bad at all. It was worth the wait because my coffee was great. I was going to the mall and I needed my caffeine fix. I'm not a mall person so I wanted to enjoy my coffee and relax for a bit. There were no available seats but luckily another customer who was sitting alone offered me a seat at her table. We had a good chat and I enjoyed my coffee with a new friend. The store was surprisingly clean considering how crazy busy they were. Even though this is a terrific Starbucks, I probably won't be back. The reason is simple, it was just too loud & crowded for me. I would recommend this Starbucks if noise doesn't bother you or for takeout. There is no drive thru so remember that if you plan on staying in your car. This is a busy store. Located in The Walk in Coral Springs. I've only been to this Starbucks a couple of times. I avoid it. Baristas are slow, even when the line is only two or three people, it still takes longer than necessary to get coffee. Also, tables are always full, inside and out. A lot of people with their laptops so these are not quick visits. I counted 5 tables with laptops. And one of these tables had all four people occupying it with them. I am being over picky, but this is a pet peeve of mine. I mean really, in this day and age who doesn't have wifi at home? What is the need to park it at a coffee shop for hours? OK, end of rant. Bottom line, busy store, slow service, most likely a wait to sit (unless you sit on the public benches or neighboring shops) I rather over pay for drinks at another less busy location. The Starbucks here on N University serves me a couple of purposes. 1. It's typically the place where I meet people for a first date. It has a decent amount of seating, especially outdoors, so you can grab your drink, sit outside and get to the know the person who I'm probably never going to see again. Side note: if I were to review the dates I've had here, the rating would be much lower. 2. It's an amazing spot to people watch. This plaza is quite busy and is full of a huge amount of characters. It's easy to fall into the trap of staring for hours as people go by. In addition to all of this, the staff is very friendly. In true Starbucks form, the drinks taste the same as any other location- whether that's good or bad for you, I'll let you be the judge. The location is clean and their little food area is always stocked. And you know what? A good cup of coffee trumps a few bad dates anyway. read more

The plan was to meet here for a meeting on Friday morning. I called ahead to find out about their table and outlet set-up because we were planning on being there all day. The woman I spoke to was helpful, although she couldn't tell me about the usually weekday morning crowd because she worked the evening shift. I took a chance and sent out the meeting invite to meet here. My husband and I got there early, around 8am. It wasn't crowded so we were able secure a table for four next to a window. It was a nice spot, located towards the front of the store except there wasn't an outlet next to it. The outlets are located at the bar, next to the large table in the front, the large table towards the back of the store, and next to one of the smaller tables located in the middle of the store that seats two. We managed to run one of our charger cords to the outlet at the table for two. It seemed perfect. Our set-up was nice. However, around 9am the store got crazy busy and I noticed that a couple of the people at our table were getting distracted. We had to leave or else get nothing accomplished. But before we left I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a chai tea latte that was paid for by a friendly gentlemen who was standing on line in front of me. That was really cool and because he paid it forward so did I. Im not sure when the line stopped paying it forward but it appeared to be going up until I left the store. This is a really nice Starbucks with lots of seating options inside and out. read more

This has to be the slowest Starbucks in all of South Florida. It sucks too because it is so convenient being across the street to Trader Joe's. I have done two mobile orders here for my usual caramel macchiato (simple drink to make) and each time I have waited around 15-20 minutes. This would make sense if they were packed when I went there, but they never are. I don't get it. The first time I went I was maybe one of 5 people in there and yet it took 20 minutes. We were picking up some coffee from the road and we were on our way quickly. This location contains everything typical of a Star Bucks. You can grab a snack or a sweet as well as your caffeine fix. I come here so often that everyone knows me by name but each time I step foot in Starbucks they always greet me with a warm smile. Today started off like a normal day, I felt for a pick me up and decided to stop by. No matter the time I come whether it's early morning or mid day it's usually crowded but my order is always quick and efficient. I usually order a Grande White Chocolate Mocha drink but today I decided to try the new Dragon Fruit Refresher. I was a bit skeptical at first but to my surprise this drink taste really good! It's not bitter like I thought it would be and it's very refreshing (hence being called a "refresher" lol.) I really like the dragon fruit flavor even though it's not a fruit that I would eat on a regular basis. Here's where my day got better, at checkout I pull out my iPhone so that I can pay using the Starbucks app but the barista told me that the gentlemen before me decided to "pay it forward" so my purchase was already paid for. This gesture truly touched me and although the gentlemen left before I could thank him I decided to continue the good deed and "pay it forward" as well. Parking in the front can be a little tight when it gets busy, but the trick is there is a parking lot equal in size to the front parking lot in the back!
