There was one lady working and she was taking all the time in the world slowly scooping ice creams for twenty kids. Didn't even acknowledge other customers Wasn't going to wait 20 minutes for coffee. Never coming back to this location. Maybe we will visit Foxtail Coffee near Orlando when we are visiting central Florida area. Don't waste your time coming here. Will just go to Starbucks where there are more employees to take your order and actually acknowledge customers coming in to your business. I won't recommend this place to others. Stopped in on a whim today and was pleasantly surprised. I had a decaf iced latte, and it was perfect--smooth, mellow, and not at all burnt-tasting (which can happen when you don't add sugar or syrups like I do). It didn't need anything extra. It's a great coffee shop to get work done as it has a large sitting area with one long table along with smaller tables throughout. They weren't too busy which is sometimes nice when you don't want a crowded, loud environment. They have a large menu with teas, coffee, ice cream, cold foam flavors, etc. They also had lots of pastry items which I didn't try this time. I wasn't a big lover of this spot and I'm surprised at the ratings of it. The ambiance is fantastic and perfectly moody and the decor is great but I'm not eating/drinking the decor; they have some gluten free deserts which I appreciated but seem a bit overpriced for basic coffee. The place is also super cold since it shares the space with an ice cream business. My experience with them was a simple pumkin decaf latte that was overly sweet. I had to ask for a redo due to the sweetness :/ I didn't want a sweet drink but it wasn't shared/disclosed with me that It would be either due to pumpkin syrup added. I don't typically have these types of drinks but its a cold day in FL. Their bathrooms had womens monthly drops on the floor which is just weirdly gross. That signals to me that they simply don't clean their bathrooms often and I saw it. :/ The service was okay, bland , not very welcoming , took 20 mins to get the coffee in a morning that didn't have many people. I wanted a coffee before heading to the beach early on a Sunday morning. I was greeted by the barista and I ordered a hot coffee with oat milk and hazelnut flavoring. I ordered a large but they also have regular sizes. It was fixed quickly and it was pretty good. Aside from coffee they offer a variety of teas. They also offer a variety of pastries and there's an ice cream portion with a different name but under the same company. They also have indoor and outdoor seating; more space in than outside. The coffee connoisseur in me wanted to give this place a try. I was in the area going to an event and decided to stop in. They have plenty of sitting on the inside and also an area where they sell ice cream. For me, I love when places have a specialty coffee that's specific to that coffee shop only. They had an ice matcha with strawberry cold foam, that I decided to give a try. I thought it was well balanced, and very good with just the right amount of strawberry. I also tried their turkey sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. That was pretty much just the premade sandwich. I got that one because it had egg whites on it. It was decent. I don't think I would get it again though because half the bread was hard. Don't you just love the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning? I'm not a frequent coffee drinker, but when I do get the taste for a hot cup of Joe, I'm very picky on where I get it from. I found out about Foxtail Coffee while scrolling through Yelp a few days ago and bookmarked it whenever the coffee urge hit. Located in the Pompano Citi Centre, Foxtail Coffee offers various brewed coffee or tea made hot or cold. There's also bakery items, cold beverages, quick bite sandwiches, and ice cream. Prices are reasonable. There's adequate seating indoors to chill in its serene ambiance. The female employee behind the counter was pleasant...it being my first time in this establishment, I took my time to look at the menu and make my decision. I haven't had cafe con leche in a long time so I decided to get that. Next I ordered a egg, ham, and cheese croissant and a slice of banana bread as well. Having some time to kill, I took a seat at an available table while my order was being prepared. Here are my thoughts: * The cafe con leche was delicious. Not too strong and lightly sweet. Regular size is just the right amount as I do not drink a lot of coffee. * The egg, ham, and cheese croissant was yummy. The croissant was lightly toasted enough to melt the Gouda cheese a bit for a ooey gooey taste. * I declined the option to have the banana bread slice heated...in my opinion, it was good as is. A nice moist thick slice topped with walnut pieces. This was definitely a nice and fulfilling way to start a beautiful morning. Oh before I forget to mention, Yelp gives an offer of a free scoop of ice cream when you check in. Ice cream before noon?! that's a first for me. I asked the female employee if they honor the offer and she said she can, so I'm taking that free offer before I leave. The flavors being offered wasn't too intriguing to me, but for the free scoop I decided to try the Mexican chocolate. It wasn't bad. There was a distinct difference in taste than regular chocolate ice cream. Was creamy with crunchy chocolate crumbles. Next time I want to try their hot tea. read more

What a cute cafe! I stopped here hoping to get some work done and it's a great place for that. There are ports to charge, different seating options and a bunch of different interesting coffees and teas to choose from, along with baked goods and ice cream. Matt was great and very friendly. I ended up getting a ginger tea with a banana pudding ice cream and it was great. It's almost my go-to cafe but it closes pretty early. It closes at 6:30. The matcha runs a little sweeter, and the lovely barista made sure to let me know before I decided to add any flavoring to it. Foxtail has come to South FL... Pompano Beach that is! Although this is still pretty north, I'm happy to have a Foxtail in Broward County. It usually one of my go to spots to work from in Orlando with its many locations, they have reliable wifi and good food & drinks. This location is no different. It's situated in plaza with ample parking and is pretty spacious inside while still being pretty quaint. There's a lot of seating and a good amount of outlets near tables if you need a charge. It wasn't too busy so I ordered right away and the girl behind the register (I wish I got her name) was super helpful and made my drink so fast. If you know me, I always have to get an iced matcha and she had one herself. I asked what she had in it (type of dairy and if she puts any sweetner in it) and she had oat milk with a raspberry cold foam. YES, raspberry cold foam. When I tell you this was a game changer, you just have to try it yourself. This might just be my new favorite type of matcha drink which will be tough because I have to drive all the way to Pompano to get it, haha. This location is also special because they have a Kelly's ice cream stand inside. So cute! Hopefully Foxtail plans to extend more into South Broward because I'd love to have it closer to home! I stopped in after a workout and enjoyed an iced latte and opted for a cup of ice. Small order that was prepared very fast and wow did I enjoy the quality of coffee. It was robust and flavorful, not the sugar milk alternative I've unfortunately become accustomed to with other chains. Something of note with this place was cold brew coffee flights?! I have a particular affinity to cold brews instead of just iced coffee: why dilute what I love with ice when there's a better way to get the kick I'm looking for. There is so much coffee competition that the coffee is not what catches the customer these days. It looks like an interrior decorator came through the property and met the owners needs, "show me just a dash of a feminine touch to the modern western barn look." Good job! More space and some couches would be worth a longer stay. The cup sizes are not too far from each other but bigger than the other two giants which means your dollar goes a bit farther; however I went against my typical "add shot" regular just to see if I could taste the espresso. My roommates and I found this place on Instagram, and like all basic b*tches, had to give it a try for their fall drinks! This place is SO cute and perfect for year-round Insta photos! I'm always looking for a place to sit at for a few hours and get some writing done- I think this place qualifies! I ordered the maple pancake latte (because duh) and a turkey bagel sandwich. While we waited, we took pictures and glanced at the ice cream flavors of Kelly's Ice Cream, located in the same store. My drink was good, but VERY sweet! It was a yummy treat, but not the kind of drink I could have every morning lol. My sandwich, however, was amazing. I could have THAT every morning! Overall, Foxtail was a cute little spot with trendy food and drinks. We came here for an iced coffee and dessert after eating lunch nearby. We had seen their location when we'd been in the plaza a few weeks ago. The gal behind the counter didn't understand what I wanted so she asked for help from the manager. I was just looking for a decaf ice coffee. She was able to make me a decaf americano and poured it over ice. They added milk and sugar for me, but it was very bitter. I asked for some more milk and more ice and that seemed to help a bit. We also got a slice of their lemon bread. It was just okay -- a little dry. It comes from a box already sliced and was sitting out on a tray in the case. Foxtail Coffee Co. was founded in 2016 in Winter Park by two friends, Alex Tchekmeian and Iain Yeakle. who first met in a South Florida in kindergarten. Their first café and roasting facility was in a former State Auto Body building. They created the business "to roast great coffee that guests can enjoy in an inviting and comfortable environment." The company gets its ethically sourced coffee and tea from around the world including Mexico, Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala from environmentally-friendly farms. Since 2016 Foxtail has opened over 40 locations. The Winter Park location still serves as a roasting facility, manufacturing much of the coffee used at Foxtail Coffee cafés throughout Florida and Georgia. They are currently working on expanding across the country. I knew about Foxtail from visiting my daughter in Orlando but I never had a chance to stop in so I was interested in checking out this brand new location in the out parcel in Pompano Citi Centre. The building is light and airy with plenty of seating for work and dining and they have a few tables out front. I love the fox decorations everywhere, especially the fox coffee mugs. I got a cheerful greeting while I checked out their menu featuring fresh-brewed coffees, espresso, cold brew, teas, and hot chocolate. Food options include several breakfast sandwiches and a ham and swiss baguette and Caprese panini. They also sell another Central Florida favorite, Kelly's Ice Cream. I ordered an iced chaii latte, nicely spiced and one of their adorable signature fox sugar cookies. It was the perfect afternoon pick me up. Foxtail is literally some of the best coffee I've ever had! The ambiance here is great. Not loud, but also not super quiet. It would be a good place to work or study if you wanted to get out. I ordered a cafe con leche with oat milk and condensed milk instead of sugar. You have to have it with the condensed milk, such a yummy flavor. The staff was nice and quick service! New coffee shop alert! I was very excited to visit this spot. I went with my dear friend for a little coffee date. She had tried the coffee and food a few days before and recommended I tried. I must say the inside decor was well put together- it's chic and modern. They have both inside and outside seating. The staff was very welcoming, I was greeted with all smiles. I tried the vanilla caramel cold brew after a few sips I felt energized. The notes in the coffee was well balanced. You get a little bit of sweetness and bitterness. Located in a lively plaza off of US-1 in Pompano, this is a pretty cute little coffee shop with a specialty ice cream bar nestled inside. The staff was super sweet and welcoming and prepared our order for us almost instantly. I chose an iced caffe latte with one pump of hazelnut and my boyfriend had a cafe con leche. I'm so sad, I paid $8.23 for a large matcha. Worker was not very warm, to begin with but just seemed tired. I ordered a vanilla matcha and when I received it I was surprised how much vanilla was put in, felt like I was drinking a whole bottle of syrup and seemed like the drink was made without care. Since I did not receive a great vibe to begin with I didn't want to speak up to ask for a new one, but I wish I did. I'm now in the car 30 minutes away, very Frustrating at the least, $8 for a drink I can't even drink. Today I had the pleasure of taking myself out for a lovely coffee before my hot girl walk. I had been determined to come to Foxtail for the last few weeks, and I finally got my opportunity today. I had a friend who had told me how wonderful this coffee brand was, originating in Orlando, so I always love to try, a local business! This location is unique because they also have an ice cream counter for Kelly's homemade ice cream, which is based out of Orlando as well. It's a big deal brand up there but this time I did not try the ice cream! Today I got a large cold brew with maple, pancake flavor and cookie butter cold foam. The flavor of the cold brew was smooth and rich. The presentation was beautiful. I enjoyed every sip of my coffee thoroughly! The person who waited on me it was absolutely delightful! They gave me recommendations based on my questions and told me about all the different things that they have! I can't wait to make my next trip here! My new favorite coffee shop in Pompano Beach! I've been a fan of Foxtail since visiting in the Orlando area a few times. I've seen their expansion of shops via their social media and was so excited that a south Florida location FINALLY made it on the roster of openings. I stopped by after the gym on a Saturday morning for a quick cold brew. Their staff was super nice but a bit slow that morning. There weren't a ton of people waiting for their order(s) but it took a bit longer than it should to just get my cold brew to-go order; but also remembering that they've only been open for a few weeks. The location has a great coffee shop vibe and wonderful menu options. This location even has an ice cream shop inside! Great place to come and work remotely, have a quick coffee with a friend/date. etc. Looking forward to spending more time here as the local coffee community thrives with this new location. 10/10 recommend a stop in! read more
