Made the mistake of going inside to order, waited several minutes at the counter, ordered just a plain old iced coffee....25 MINUTES LATER...I am still waiting for said iced coffee. I watched all these gosh darn mobile orders just sweating on the counter. I had to ask for the iced coffee, repeated my order to the barista and was given the iced coffee. Rage is what I felt if you are wondering. I have never waited this long. What tipped it over was the mobile orders. Huge fancy beverages with no owners. I know the folks working are busy and quite overworked but could we prioritize the people actually standing in the building. My husband and two children were waiting for me outside. This location has a few things against it right now. Right now they are incredibly short staff proving to always be super long lines in a congested parking lost. The line barely budges. If you have somewhere to be for a certain time, try either the Target Starbucks or Mirasol's next door. Many businesses are short staffed but the other Starbucks in the area seemed to have bounced back. This one is still drive up only, no pre-ordering. Hoping they can make a turn around, but right now this is a disappointing store. I ordered a Venti Cold Brew no ice. The girl in the drive thru flipped the tablet for a tip, saying "It's just going to ask you a question." I hit zero (figuring this is a highly profitable corporation and I'm in a drive-thru, and I'm spending $10 on two coffees, one being a grande). The girl handed me this. I order no ice in the evenings so that it can sit in my fridge without being watered down by the time my husband drinks it in the morning. It is always at the top at this location. I've been here about five time and each time was a mistake. Service here will never be on par with most other Starbucks. Baristas will always argue saying they are always right with their options and it's so frustrating knowing full well that drinks can be made a certain way. Ordered the sugar cookie almond milk latte and it was just sugar cookie almond milk. No shots of espresso. How would I know what an espresso in a drink taste like? Because I drink it often enough to know something isn't right in my drink. If you can't own up to your mistakes, I don't think being in a public service setting is the right choice. The mango dragon fruit refresher CAN be made with water. Barista says otherwise that it's strictly lemonade. That is false and very frustrating to those who can't handle the amount of sugar in lemonade. This is one of the slower locations I have been to, but I always try to give them grace because I know it is busy. However, this is now the second time I have ordered from this location where they gave me a drink that was half full. This is a brand new Starbucks. I'm happy they opened up an actual independent location, rather than one inside a Target. This one has a drive-thru which will be convenient! This is my second time here since they opened. Both times I was greeted warmly and the service was fast. Both times my orders were correct and perfect. I usually order an ice coffee with soy milk. Pretty easy, but still. Super delicious! The inside decor is kind of neat. Industrial and modern, but open. There are small small tables and one large/long table. There is also a comfy seating area with a couch and chairs. Great spot for reading or getting some work done! Both the restaurant and restrooms are clean and tidy. I'll be back again soon! read more

I'm not sure what is it with this Starbucks on state road and the one in New Bedford on Coggeshall st but both locations have made me never want to order from Starbucks again. For the FOURTH time in 2 weeks my order has been made completely wrong at this state road location and since I'm usually rushing to work I don't always have time to inspect my drink ( which I shouldn't have to do everytime in fear that my coffee is made completely wrong). AGAIN my coffee at the Dartmouth location wasn't made with all the extras that I added. I pay extra for the sweet cold foam, extra pumps of syrup, blonde esprssso, and they never make it the way I want it. They make it regular so I pretty much pay extra for nothing. EVERY time. I finally called today to get a refund because I'm sick of wasting my money. The First Lady told me that it wasn't possible to give a refund over the phone. With her condescending attitude. I asked for a manager. The manager came on the phone and told me the same thing that she can't refund over the phone. I told her that was a lie because I've had it done before. She then miraculously made it work over the phone after I told her she was lying. (Again with her condescending tone.) I will never order from either of these Starbucks again. I'll have to just stick to my local coffee shops. Do better. Get better staff. If you hate your job, find a new one. Don't take it out on paying customers. The only "help" we get to fix these situations is someone answering all these negative reviews telling us to go to the website and let them know how they can do better . Ridiculous. I am lactose intolerant and asked for almond milk. Well it definitely wasn't almond milk in the 3 of the 5 coffees that have been ordered from here. I even clarified with the cashier at the window the last time I went here, that it was in fact almond milk, she yes, and it definitely was not. It's a Starbucks. It's what you've come to expect but that's why they built the empire they are. I tend to love the ambience and style of Starbucks. I love how this location has a long community table and a nice seating section with comfy chairs. My orders are always super easy but I love their cold brew and I love using the Starbucks app to get rewards! The baristas are always super friends and quick to answer any questions I may have about the special drinks. I'm glad they finally opened a stand alone location with a drive thru in N Dartmouth. I've been to this Starbucks several times since they opened in June and have never had a bad experience. I waited to write the review because I wanted to see the inside first.. I love the drive thru, I'm the first to admit that I'm lazy before I've had my daily Starbucks fix and sitting in my ice cold car and having my drink handed to me is perfect.. but the other day I decided to go inside and I found the inside to be so nice and inviting.. CLEAN! granted the stores barely been open 2 months but its great. Quiet location too and like the other review said, I hope it stays this way!! As I said the store is clean, they have a great selection of merchandise for sale, and the people working there are just so friendly and nice. I haven't made any special requests in this location but I honestly doubt I'd have a problem as long as the person working knew how to make the drink or If I did. give them a try! read more

I wouldn't call myself a Starbucks connoisseur, but I've been to a fair amount (including Target Sbux) and here's my assessment. They run their espresso machine too hot. It makes the coffee way too bitter, and gets a nice twinge of plastic in the cup when you get an iced drink not to mention melts the ice and waters it down. I've been to Sbux before and had the same problem. They run the machine so hot because it makes a faster cup. But, when you mix the bitterness with an already strong Sbux flavor like mocha or caramel, it's rough. As a person with a simple usual, venti breve black-eye, a bitter shot of Sbux espresso wrecks the drink. The pastries look unusually rough, and the one time I tried it it was dry. And I know baristas have trouble with names, but a guy told my wife she spelled her name wrong. Needless to say, I avoid this Sbux like the plague. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it's the closest one for miles, which I either drive when I'm able or I simply visit our friendly neighborhood cafe. This was really a crappy experience, and I'm kind of shocked because we ordered pretty basic drinks. Service was slow. One woman working on a Wednesday afternoon? Eh, OK. When it was finally our turn (took a few minutes for the woman ahead of us to get her drink), we ordered a shaken iced tea and a strawberries & cream frappuccino, double-blended. About 3-4 minutes later we got our drinks. My iced tea tasted like bitter syrup and was warm. I had to swirl the ice for a full minute (basically, melted the ice) to get the drink to be cold/not so bitter. The frappuccino was OK but there was no whipped cream on top -- which is unlike every other Starbucks we've been to. Blah. Wouldn't return. read more

Rudest starbucks I've ever been to. I came through the drive through, ordered two drinks and one sandwich. When I got to the window, the lady was very rude and yelled at me that she couldn't hear me. I feel so awful writing a bad review but this quite literally ruined my day and i've never felt like this after going to starbucks since i'm used to everyone being so nice especially since my order is so easy. i was a partner for 2 years so i know how it is and i was expecting a please text experience but I will NEVER come back here. they didn't even put one of my drinks that I ordered in, and the lady at the window refused to let me reorder it at the window and was annoyed with me like I forgot to order it, but I didn't. she yelled at me and told me that they didn't charge me for it therefore i had to go back around and wait another half hour in that ridiculously long line. go to the target at starbucks, even if it means you can't use your partner numbers. at least you won't feel bad about yourself. read more

I go to this Starbucks often; probably four days a week. They are usually short staffed and you have to be pretty lucky to get access to an outlet but I don't think the workers can control these things, so I would say that I have had an overall good experience. The reason I gave a poor rating is because I was just informed that the employees don't get free coffee while at work and I think that's crazy. Every "stand alone Starbucks" in this country gets free coffee and tea while they work, but since this fine establishment is in a Target, they do not. I'm not exactly sure of the hourly wage of a "barista" but I'm guessing somewhere in the ballpark of eight bucks, so if one of the employees were to buy a large ice coffee for their shift ($3.15) that would be somewhere around a half hour of work after taxes. Imagine working for 30 minutes everyday at a coffee shop just to pay for the coffee that you are drinking; that's insane. I had worked at Starbucks in my youth for a short period and I just assumed it made sense for the company to dope up it's employees with caffeine, since it may increase overall work output and the production cost of coffee is so low. When I was the age of the average employee at this Starbucks, I would have "forgot" to pay for every single drink that I had and I'm surprised the employees don't operate this way. For this, I commend them for their honesty.......but I do think they are getting taken advantage of. In a area of the country where the minimum wage so poorly reflects the needed income to live outside of poverty, I find this injustice to be a punch in the teeth. I can not in good conscience continue patronizing this establishment, so this will be the last time I sit at this table. --- I think people should complain about this poor treatment. I know that our country is moving away from private unions but I believe that our culture still has a certain respect for the working man. read more
