They make one of the best chocolate chip cookies here!. Their coffee is medium-dark roast, they don't make any light roast (my fav) but it has been wonderful every time!. Black Americano is solid 5 stars. They roast their own coffee beans. The coffee ship is beautiful! It is by the water, they have limited seats, indoors and outdoors. Weekends are so busy; for a good reason. They bake all their pastries in house. The staff can be overwhelmed and snippy. But overall it is a solid coffee ship that is worth checking if you're in the area.

The best! This place always has such cool flavors and specials to try and they're consistent with service, quality, and taste! The pastries are amazing as well - my favorites are the almond croissant and the pistachio croissant. Such a cute little place and so light even on a rainy day :) Highly recommend!

Made a little Sunday roadtrip to New Bedford to check out Ground Floor Coffee. First and foremost, the staff at this coffee shop were top notch in terms of being friendly, welcoming and helpful. A good initial sign! The coffee shop is bright and right on the wharf in downtown New Bedford. The main coffee shop area has some booth seating available and then a back room has more benches available for additional seating options, as well. I went for a cup of hot coffee which was piping hot and flavorful while my wife opted for the vanilla caramel iced latte; she raved about it and noted it to be excellent! We split a piece of apple coffee cake and all of the pastries looked to be quite good. In addition to the baked goods, breakfast sandwiches could also be ordered and we'd look to try one if back at Ground Floor in the future. Place was busy with customers coming in and out; always nice to see for a local business.

Love this little coffee spot right on the water. On a nice day you can sit on their outdoor patio and watch the boats. I got a crème brûlée cold brew and an egg & cheese sandwich, both really good (you can add any flavoring to their cold brew!). They have lots of spring specials and Wi-Fi if you need to get some work done. The staff was a little rowdy and loud but I think they were just having fun together on a Saturday. Overall a great spot!

Went here on Monday July 15th 2024 to eat something before we headed to Martha's Vineyard via the seastreak boat that is nearby. It's a cute little cafe with booths, and tables both high and low to sit at. i got a chocolate chip muffin, and an iced coffee with mocha, my mom got an egg sandwich, and my dad got a bacon egg sandwich. food was overall good and very filling. We were also helped right away, and paid via credit card. Some issues with the sandwich was that my mom ordered the egg sandwich without bacon, and it had bacon on there, that was sort of crispy. We ate everything, because we wanted to eat, but pay attention if the customer don't want something. I enjoyed my muffin, and coffee. Would come again if we are ever in the area.

Stopped by while in New Bedford and was pleasantly surprised. I found the ice coffee very good. The food was good as it is made in their adjacent kitchen. I found the baristas very friendly and helpful. The inside was bright and very clean.

The coffee was pretty good. Service was pretty good. But the cookies were stale. I got there early and it tasted old.

The Painkiller is fantastic, especially if you add caramel. The Epic Vanilla Skooma is dangerously addictive - the flavor profile is incredible, and honestly nobody else in the area comes close. The Buzz is another excellent choice. The food is just as impressive. Their linguica and cheese rolls are leagues above the competition, and I'd put them alongside the very best around. I highly recommend ordering a regular cheese roll leveled up with egg, bacon, and their house-made hot sauce. If you enjoy a Portuguese style hot sauce, this combination is absolutely worth trying - you will not be disappointed. The peanut butter cookie is unreal; I genuinely wish I had the recipe. The baked goods are consistently excellent, and whenever they have a special, just order it. I've rarely been disappointed by anything they've made. I used to live nearby and honestly miss having this place around. Their pizzas deserve recognition too. They're some of my favorite bar style pizzas in the area. If you prefer an ultra thin pizza, you might lean toward Dipper Cafe, but it's hard to beat The Meatball Thing, the Thanksgiving pizza during the holidays, and many of their other specialty pies. The atmosphere adds even more to the experience. They have arcade style games you can play while you wait, and the music is always great. If you're into King Diamond or heavier music, you'll probably hear something you love. If you live nearby or are just passing through the area, don't skip The Nook. For me - and for everyone I've recommended it to - The Nook easily earns the title of best coffee shop in the area.

-ONE PARAGRAPH REVIEW-…read more The Nook has great coffee. The Nook has great food- not entrés but café stuff: sandwich rolls, focaccias, muffins, etc. The Nook has old school, retro vibes. It has rock music vibes. It has creative, inspirational vibes. It has quiet, read-a-book-in-the-nook vibes but also loud Donkey Kong-guitar riff-crunchin' vibes; depending on the time and the day. It's perhaps a tad too small inside, but that's what makes it a nook. Lots of hot and iced coffee options, food is quality over quantity: get their signature cheese or linguica roll as-is or "leveled up" to make it an egg sandwich because it's the best around. And their focaccias are made like a pizza and imo are better than their actual pizza! Ok that's a paragraph!

My only suggestion would be to serve it with a spoon so you can mix the cider into the Prosecco a little more. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Mozambique and it was really good. The flavors were amazing, although I do wish there was a little more sauce. My friend got the chouriço and cheese roll, split and toasted on the grill, and it looked just as good. We also grabbed two coffees to go and tried the pumpkin fluff special. Both coffees were delicious and honestly didn't even need any added sweetener. The restaurant itself is really cute and has a cozy feel. Parking isn't the easiest, so just be prepared for that. The bathrooms were okay, but I'd give them about a 3/5. Our waitress was very attentive in the beginning, and I think she could tell we were there to catch up and weren't in any rush, which I appreciated. There's also some outdoor seating, which looked really cute on the cobblestone street. It was wet and a little too early for us to sit outside, but I could definitely see myself enjoying it another time. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Tia Mariah and will be back to try more of the menu!
