This place is known for their "dessert" coffees. Not being a fan of sweet whipped creamy drinks I'd never tried it before. Driving by the Seasons Market today I figured, why not? Inside, it's Voodoo Donuts hot pink, so I'm already loving it. The bags for packaging up any of the decent-looking pastries had a black and white checkerboard trim that make me think of the See's Chocolate shops in LA. Another favorite brand here folks! Clean counter space, several friendly women behind the counter; service was personalized and fast. I had a combination drink that was the favorite of one of the women behind the counter. It was an iced coffee mix of mocha and something almond. My partner got just a basic iced coffee, cream no sugar. Both drinks came on the dark side, with less cream than expected; his was also a bit light on coffee flavor. The basic iced had the disappointing taste of leftover hot coffee put in the fridge to"ice" - stale. Wish he'd seen the cold brew sign before ordering. My mocha/almond was introduced as "not too sweet," but sweet was the first thing I noticed at sip one. The mocha flavor was pleasant, but I barely tasted any almond. All in all, a bit of a meh. Still, since the chain is local I'll try again. In addition to cold brew they offer a nitro cold brew, advertised on a poster not on the menu board yet.

Some of the best coffee comes from Marylou's! This location is nice, very convenient and clean. I often come here for gas or a Redbox and will get a coffee while I'm there. There is a drive thru as well but I usually go inside as I don't always know what to order. The menu and large and different from most coffee shops. I recommend the Twix iced coffee or french vanilla hot coffee. I also love the strawberry frosty Lou! It's loaded with calories and sugar but yum so worth it!! Think of it as a dessert ;) And by the way, loving all the pink!!

Unlike Massachusetts MaryLou's, their staff is less "Hooters" themed and more girl-next-door themed. I don't know why I care to mention this other than the fact that the trashy commercials tend to offend people into not stepping into this place. With that said, I've always loved the ice coffee at MaryLous. If you get your coffee regular at Dunkin Donuts, you probably won't like the coffee here (my boyfriend doesn't). If you like flavored coffee, you'll have a great selection here. What they do really well are breakfast sandwiches. Like DD they use frozen eggs, but the bagels and cheese are a hundred times better. Hot chocolate is also good here and the drive-thru is never packed like at DD around the corner. The girls here have gone above and beyond to create a unique flavor for me several times. One time they made me a mint hot chocolate and it was delish.

Banana Nut Iced Coffee from Marylou's Coffee, RI

Dear Marylous, Your Banana Nut Iced coffee is divine. I know your ex husband Starbucks is really taking over the town, but don't let that stop you. He smells funny and his coffee just comes on too strong. Plus all of that bougie fireplace and barista nonsense is just hot air compared to your coffee concoctions (re: snicker-doodle, butterscotch, and yes the aforementioned Banana Nut). Please come to NYC???? Loyally, Erika

Large iced coffee just the way i like it.

Minty Lou is delicious! Service was impeccable, but it was a little confusing being next to the convenience store.

Super flaky and a lot of delicious flavor from the filling and garnishes. It was very busy when I stopped by midday. They were out of some items already (I missed out on trying the French onion croissant before they replaced it with another menu item). I did find a spot to sit outside but I can see it being even harder to find a seat during peak times. It's a bit off the beaten path yet it's known and popular for a reason. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more items and of course the coffee!

There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.

I noticed they had a lot of regular customers, and they treated all the customers with the upmost respect I love this. Now to the Tea, they have everything all the names are pretty hip and the flavors are bomb! All types of flavors, to cater to all taste buds! I don't know much about the tattoo portion but I know the guy who does the tattoos does them in a very clean room, in the back area. And well I wanted to get a tattoo and he's booked all the way until May right now and it's only November, and his work is amazing. He's done my sister and mom's tattoos I'll be next! Everyone is so supportive and the atmosphere and look of this place for sure made the event successful. I fully support this place and I'll be a regular customer and make sure I bring others. It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! Driven by heavy social media presence on Instagram, this shop proved to be a classic example of a cute concept that fails on execution. The shop features a modern, clean aesthetic but suffers from highly inefficient operations. The layout makes it unclear where the ordering line actually begins, and the printed menus do not match the menus displayed on the wall. This forced a rushed ordering process, leading me to order a standard Strawberry Matcha. While the drink's presentation was pretty, the flavor was only average and did not justify the steep, overpriced cost--especially for an establishment located in a prominent college area. Color was on point but flavor was very milky and slightly tart. I don't say this often, but it needed sugar. Service was interesting. Drinks are served filled to the brim without lids. You retrieve the lids yourself in a separate counter area. This design flaw was highlighted when a nearby couple spilled their entire order onto the floor simply while walking over to get a cap. Rather than stepping in immediately to help clean up the mess and offer new drinks, the staff stood and stared at this couple for longer than they should have before offering assistance. Also, I would've liked a teddy bear too but didn't see it on the menu so I didn't order it. Between the high prices, lackluster service, and operational confusion, the overall experience does not warrant a return visit. Go get a sugarcane drink around the corner instead!

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!
