No wonder this store has low stars. Stopped on our way back from Yosemite. No sense of urgency and low level of competency of the cashier. Long line, spent 5 minutes with one customer voiding and redoing one drink and pastry. Ignored the rest of the line. Awful. My turn came, and I had a lucky dozen to redeem. She didn't understand and kept trying to take my phone to see what I was talking about. Then told me I didn't have one. She had to get a manager to fix it and explain what it was. There was a super long line for the drive-thru so we decided to park and go inside. The lady with the sleeve tattoos who took our very simple order of 2 iced coffees and a muffin looked completely dumbfounded the entire time. It took about 12 minutes to get our order. Meanwhile, she was just standing around as the other 2 employees were making all the other orders. Then I saw her eating in the corner! If you have time to eat, you sure as hell have time to help out the other batista or at least clean or hell just pretend to.do something! I can't say that I ever enjoyed going to this Starbucks. Considering there is only in town it always busy which I understand. So we don't go often, but when we do they are always out of whatever we order. I could somewhat understand running out of the seasonal items, but the regular items as well? Vanilla latte? Out! Vanilla bean frap? Out! Grean tea? Out? Instead of a "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" I get an eye roll and a shrug "well is there anything else that you want"? They make it seem like they're really going out of they're way to tell you that you can't have your prefered drink. Needless to say, I will continue to avoid this location. read more

Super friendly staff. Speed of service is the the same as any other Starbucks I have been to. I often stop by for an everything bagel and a hot drink on my way home from work in the morning for my hubby and I. Even in my tired state the wait is not bad, the friendly staff brightens my morning after a long nursing shift and they never forget the extra cream cheese. :) read more

This Starbucks has the slowest drive thru! Parking lot is tiny.I don't recommend this place between 7:40-8:00 Monday through Friday. It gets super packed. Be prepared to wait. Other than that, it's just like any other location. read more

I recently went to this Starbucks on Saturday and found it too be slow. I went to the drive through and it took about 10 minutes for my order to be taken. It also seemed that the cars in front of me also had this issue. There needs to be more workers and improve customer service. read more

I absolutely understand that a rush means waiting for items to come out but if you have 6 workers, 2 on drive thru, 3 on mobile orders, and one milling about what about everyone actually inside your store? If I could give this location zero stars I would! As a partner I give every location benefit of the doubt to living up to our company's values but this location is absolutely ridiculous! I went at 6:50am and was told "You need to tell us before you order your drink if you want it blonde!" Excuse me? I am a customer when I'm not a barista working and to be told that I couldn't get my drink blonde because I didn't say it in the beggining. If I could give a negative rating I would. We stopped by this Starbucks to get a "quick" tea on a road tip. The drive through line looked long so we went in. We ordered and stood to wait. We waited and waited and waited. I watched as the staff proceeded to chat instead of make drinks. I've never been in a Starbucks where the baristas weren't hustling to get drinks out. We've been in many, many packed Starbucks where it was like a well-oiled machine. I don't mind waiting but this was ridiculous. After more than half an hour, they called my name and it was just the water I had ordered for my daughter. So, thinking my other drink must be coming, I stood there at the pass waiting. I watched as at least five employees stood around chatting while there were several people inside waiting and the long drive through line. Three employees chatted and joked around about customers' orders. They literally made fun of the order they were making saying how unhealthy it was and the customer was crazy for ordering it. Then the three is them all started working on that one drink. Seriously. Finally, Caiden, the customer-bad-mouthing barista, started working on my drink. He shook it up and slapped it on the counter without a word. It was a hot mess. I couldn't even pick it up. I had to clean it up before I could even touch it. This barista was the most unprofessional employees I have ever encountered. He stood there talking about customers with other customers standing less than 2 feet away - while at least a dozen people were waiting for their drinks. I would've asked for our money back but I was afraid that would take another 45 minutes! The two ladies standing next to me said they had been waiting at least 45 minutes. Seriously? There was not a single employee in that place who was professional and courteous and actually working. We are frequent Starbucks customers - I think I may need to break up with Starbucks after this one. Do not stop at this Starbucks unless you have at least an hour you can waste. read more

The worst service we've ever had at a Starbucks! Should have known when we had to park across the street because the drive-thru line was backed up into the street. No line inside and plenty of seating, so didn't expect to wait 20 minutes for a tall blonde pour over coffee and a Frappuccino! But the Frappuccino was sitting on the their counter for 10 minutes before I finally asked about it. Looked like the coffee was started after we complained, and the guy made some excuse about how busy they were and the guy taking orders had to "step away" from the register to start it. Really? Needless to stay we won't be back, freeway - close or not! My husband has orders blonde coffee at Starbucks all the time, and expects to wait 4-5 minutes, but this was simply poor service. read more

Textbook template for apathy. The place was filthy. I walked in with a Starbucks cup to throw away (from a SoCal location) on my drive north. Mount Trash left me with no other option than to leave my own trash on the Splenda/sugar/creamer counter. When I went to order, the Baristas were too busy giggling with each other and chatting on their headsets to take my order. Sadly this Starbucks thrives on parched travelers on the 99 freeway with no other option but to stop or wait until Bakersfield to the south or Tulare to the north. read more

Horrible customer service. I placed a mobile order, walked in within 15 minutes of placing my order and I waited an additional 30 MINUTES!!! There were a couple of rude ladies behind the counter talking bad and making fun of drive through customers. And talking back to young customers in the lobby. They were being extremely loud and disrespectful one of them was cursing and it was obvious the rest of the employees were uncomfortable, but they were so busy, or afraid, to say anything to those two. When I arrived, the employee who was cursing told me, in a very rude way, that my order was being worked on and walked away, avoiding eye contact the whole time, needless to say she never aknowledge me when I tried to check in at the pick up counter, she even went to break without a follow up on my order. When I asked a different worker about my order, he seemed confused and I told him I had been waiting for 30 mins. He found my order on the opposite side of the counter and apologized for the wait. This is not the 1st time I have noticed these two ghetto girls working there but I had never had to put up with their vulgar language for so long!! It's sad that a place like this employs these people. They are definitely in the wrong business. They are a better fit for a non-customer service type of employment. Delano needs a second location to keep up with demand. I have also waited 40 min stuck in drive trough. Not cool! read more

I am a long time coffee drinker, and regardless of the coffee and service being good at this location. I was very disappointed because of all locations I have been through over the course of the last 10 years, I have to say that this location was dirty, from outside to inside, as well as the bathroom. I just hope this location cleans up a little, otherwise, the service and coffee was great. read more

This is the worst starbucks customer service I've been to. Barista is rude and so slow!!!! When I come in theres no line. I placed my orders and just waiting to get my drinks when they started to get busy. I was waiting for so long for my 4 drink order and they messed up one of my drink... He asked to fall in line again to charged me for a difference. Then i asked him if he can just charged me and make my drink without falling in line to the register cause i'd been waiting already for so long. Worst Starbucks ever. I waited 20 minutes for my drink , not exaggerating. This was not suspect because the guy in front of me got his drink like 18 minutes in. I finally went and was like hey where's my drink? Somehow it was lost or never written. No apology, no free drink coupon, just here's your drink you should have had 20 minutes ago. Veryyyy slow!! There was barely a line through drive-thru and I waited so long for my drink

The wait time at this location is ridiculously long. Even with only 2-3 cars in the drive thru the wait is still 10-15 minutes. I have gone inside before and the wait is shorter, but they do not call your name when your drink is ready and the tables are typically dirty. It's great that Delano has a Starbucks , but management needs to make some changes. This location does not appear to run as efficiently or smoothly as the other locations. read more

I pre-ordered a Caramel Frappucino from my Starbucks app. I get there to pick up my drink and notice no caramel in it. I speak to the barista regarding my order and she tells me they are out of caramel. Obviously there is poor management at this Starbucks. read more

Poor Service. Stopped by on July 6th, 2014 at around 5pm. The drive thru was packed and there was a sign that said "Drive Thru may take over 15 minutes". We still tried it, after being in the drive thru for about 30 minutes, we were no longer excited to get our drinks. I think management should do a better job scheduling baristas to work on busy holiday hours, since it is off the freeway which is very convenient. read more
