Don't stop here often, but this Starbucks comes in handy when heading to some places in the area, like Whole Foods, car dealers, etc. My visit today to pick up a pound of Komodo Dragon went well, friendly staff, quick service. I noticed that Starbucks has gone to an automatic Clover Brewer for their drip coffee. Never saw this version. Definitely a time saver for the staff as they don't have to brew large batches of coffee. Will report on it soon. read more

STARBUCKS vs COFFEE HOUSES Quick jolt of caffeine at this Delray Beach Starbucks. Clean but small outside front patio with customers sipping their fix and talking on their cellphones. The front counter lady was friendly and ordered an Iced Espresso Shot with one pump of Cinnamon Dolce. When asked what type of coffee beans were used to create my drink she oddly responded, "Its from Seattle", at which time I loudly chuckled in astonishment. This is the prime example between classic coffee house knowledge and the commercialized Starbucks product ignorance. They actually sell one pound bags of fresh Ethiopian coffee beans, but was afraid to ask anymore questions. With a quick painless Google search, I found that Starbucks use 100% Arabica beans which are farmed through "The Coffee Belt" - in Latin America, Asia Pacific and Africa. The bathroom was clean except for a non-respectful flush, decor was super modern with large light gray tile floors accented with dark gray tile walls. Given the premium prices Starbucks charges, it makes sense for staff to be well-versed in the menu and how to effectively communicate the value of each product to customers. When paying for higher-end drinks, a certain level of expertise is warranted, whether it's in making the drinks or explaining ingredients, customization options, or flavor profiles. This Starbucks is always hit or miss. The line usually takes 20+ minutes to get through during rush. This specific visit, I placed an order for mobile pickup and I waited 25 minutes in the drive thru and there were only five cars in front of me. By the time I got my order, the food was cold and the drink wasn't made right. I ordered a pink drink, which had very little coconut milk. It seemed like they put water, realized it was supposed to be coconut milk and then added a splash of the milk. I go here because it's convenient. You can come at 7 am on Saturday morning when it is dead, or you can come when it is packed, it will always be a 10+ minute wait for food and drinks. Doesn't matter if you place an order on the app or walk in. They've done some updating which is good. The lunch boxes and more are not in plain sight- you need to ask fi they have the and go in the refrigerator to see if they have them. I went in to get my birthday treat and wanted a cheese/fruit box - the barista went to check and then they came back and told me they had it. So I was happy as I already had my coffee and wanted it for my 45 minute ride! The place is cleaner than what I had experienced the last time! I've had a handful of mobile order pick ups from this location, always a tightly run ship here, good turnaround time, coffees are made consistent. Today I noticed the staff were all smiles, greeting as you walked in, a sense of familiarity - realizing I haven't been around True customer service for some time now. I saw on some business cards near the door that Devin is the manager of this location, also noticed he was right there hands-on-deck among his fully staffed work area, admirable. This is the worst operated Starbucks in Palm Beach County. If you want to go through the drive thru, forget about it. You'll need to get gas right after considering how long it takes them to get orders through. It could be because they seem to mess up orders a lot and I rarely get what I asked for. My gf had the matcha for her first time and said it tasted like water with green powder. I had the shaken brown sugar latte but tasted like sugar water. I know Starbucks has raised all their prices but it seems like their cutting back on their coffee grams and matcha. If you want real coffee and tea, better off going to Deke's, The Seed, and Mane. read more

After after stopping in at this branch many times over the last few years and occasionally getting terrible service, sloth and attitude, I figured it was time to write a review. Ordering at a Starbucks is usually a slam dunk for consistency and quality, but the experience at this branch can be borderline enraging. While they do get the job done at times, they sometimes screw up simple coffee orders, forget to put items in the bag, or don't heat up food thoroughly. By the time you notice, you're already driving out. Ufff, the worst. They're also incessantly ignore customers at the mobile order pick up area even when it's not that busy. No eye contact, no pro activity, just gloomy, downturned faces, or worse, inexplicable scorn. The other night I placed a mobile order and the app said it would be ready in 3-7 minutes. Stopped in about 10 minutes later with the place nearly empty, yet nothing's ready. I asked the guy what the status was and he said it was coming right up. Unfortunately 5 minutes later, I still didn't have our food or drinks. I politely asked when I could expect the order, and I could just see in his eyes he a) didn't care and b) didn't want to field simple questions from me. Very un-Starbucks like, I have to say. So I'm waiting there like a shnook and what's the guy doing? Having a laugh with the other staff, walking aimlessly in semi circles, looking obtuse and generally not paying any attention to my undelivered order. Good hustle there. Finally the coffee arrives and he matter of fact tells me the sandwiches we wanted were out of stock. OK. It takes 15+ minutes to figure this out? We accepted a substitute and I ultimately got everything we ordered, but the overall visit was very irritating and a Starbucks run really shouldn't be. read more

Well, staff is constantly changing. Service was disappointing today. App said 50% off fraps after 3 pm. Well, then, I was told I needed a code. No there was not a code from my app!! So, I was talked into adding a payment so maybe that's a problem. Okay, I had to add $25 to my app for no good reason, as I don't thrive on caffeine points! Still, 50% doesn't come off the total, yet cashier rings me up!!! Do I want a receipt??? Heck yeah!! Of course it did not show a 50% off. Had to grab the trained employee again. Now they had to credit my app the difference. Now, wasn't that a back A way to give me the 50%?!? And all this time, our fraps were sitting, melting away. It was more like ice coffees in the end. So frustrated that 3 people could not make a customer happy. The rule is always...an apology does not make a wrong a right. It's only a band aid in the world of customer service. Manager at this store is a total bitch. My aunt is from out of town and asked if they had something. The nice cashier Mike politely said hold on let me ask, proceeds to ask the manager and she rudely shakes her head. He asks again, she says with attitude "i don't know.... if they don't see it, we don't have it." The whole experience was just rude and not a good look on an out of towner. Unacceptable Starbucks. I was quite disappointed the other morning when I stopped in here for my caffeine fix. I was excited when I found out we had a Starbucks on Linton because I drive past this store on my way to work. And they have a drive thru which is awesome. Unfortunately, my one visit didn't go well, so I did leave frustrated. However, I will definitely return soon and try again. We all have "off" days, so maybe they were having theirs the morning I stopped in. Who knows. This was my first visit to this location so I decided to go inside. The store was super clean and I was greeted when I walked in. Loving it so far. This is a fairly small Starbucks and I was amazed at the large selection of cups, tumblers and other merchandise they had on display. I always order my frappuccino with extra ice. That way it's nice and thick and stays frozen longer. My drink was prepared incorrectly; not just the ice, but with the wrong ingredients. I questioned the barista about the missing/wrong ingredients used to prepare my drink and she said she made substitutions because they were out of some items. I understand being low on inventory, but how about asking the customer if the changes would be okay or if they would prefer to order something else. The barista made this choice for me without even asking me and this really annoyed me. She should have asked. After all, I am the one who was paying for it and also drinking it. It was wrong of her not to ask. Needless to say I had her make me something else. All that time wasted could have been avoided if she just asked. The employees were very friendly and seemed to enjoy working with each other. Lots of chit-chat between them. I'm not used to seeing that at other Starbucks because the baristas are usually working so hard and fast, they don't have the time. I will update my review after my next visit. The drive thru makes it hard not to stop in anyway. I'm sure next time everything will be fine and I will actually get the beverage that I order. The store is pretty much immaculate and the employees are nice, so why not? They are located on Linton, east of 95 on the north side of the street. What a better way to end the day in beautiful Delray Beach than a grande no foam latte for the drive back to NSB. Made a quick pass through the drive thru and wasn't disappointed. The service at this location was friendly, fast and the beverages were made perfectly. This Starbucks is located right across the street from the Sports Authority center. It is on the north side of the street. Brand new Starbucks opened a block from my house. So excited to be here. Starbucks did not disappoint. Everyone was nice and friendly. I ordered my favorite, Caramel frap with whipped cream. The cashier asked for my name and of course I said Big Dave. That always gets a laugh. The frap is so good. Nice and creamy. They have baskets with chalk board sound of the different types of coffee. They have Via instant, Starbucks blonde, pike place roast, Guatemala Antigua. They have a great selection of juices in bottles, and yogurt and salads. They are on the back wall when you enter. They have a large table that seats 8 and 4 rounds tables on the east side wall. I seed this being a great place to do business. They are a little short on the outlets. There are two neat three rounds tables and one for the large table. The load capacity is 36. There is outside seating with umbrellas. read more

I come to this starbucks more often than I should but it close to home and work. The drive through is the worst, I don't understand why it takes soo long to get coffee here. you have to wait 10 min to get a coffee from the drive thru even when there are 0-1 cars in front of you. If I am like most people you use the drive through because it supposed to be faster, but not the case at this location. my advice to you is give yourself 6-10 mins to come to this place , if you are in a hurry do your order online before you get there. read more

Always super friendly, however I pay over a dollar more for extra cold foam every day and they never give me extra they give me the normal amount or less, and I even say at the window to please do a good amount of cold foam and they still don't. it's just a bummer because I've been paying extra for it every day and it adds up. The hot coffee given to me didn't have the top on good and as I put it in the car cupholder it exploded all over the place burning my wife's leg. I turned to the employee working the window for some napkins and he was laughing loudly at us. So hard I repeat several times "hey can I have some napkins." Closest Starbucks location to my work. When the drive thru line is longer, I usually opt to go inside. After visiting a few times, I realized the longer the drive thru line is, the longer you will wait inside for your order. Sometimes days are longer than others but what can you expect at 8am?? Staff here is the best. Products are as they should be. My only beef with this place is how loud the chairs screech across the floor. It startles me and makes me wonder if my arrhythmia can handle it. Please, get those plastic discs for under the chairs, with the long spike you hammer into the base of each leg. Service is good and never had any issues with my drinks... though I tend to have drinks with 2 ingredients or less so your results may vary. I come to Delray a couple times a year for about a week to 10 days each time. I come to this Starbucks everyday I'm here. I've been to a lot of different Starbucks around the country and this one is by far my favorite!!! It absolutely blows my mind how quick and efficient they are! I get in the drive thru line with about 10 cars in front of my almost every time and I order, drive up to the window and they hand me my stuff and I'm off in like less than 5 minutes, AND they never forget anything. I had to think about this for a bit. I dont like to slam but I did have a bad experience and feel its my duty as a Yelper to inform however the regional manager upon receiving my text which detailed what happened quickly responded to me that he would reach out to Kay the store manager and discuss the incident. She then called me and offered me a gift card for the closest Starbucks to me which is Boynton and Congress so thats appreciated. They admitted I should have been comped right there and then but that didn't happen. Because of the apology the 1 is upgraded to a 2. So what went down was at 7 I came in for coffee and a bagel before heading to Schumacker to service my car. I passed by a bunch of places including TD bank where I could have deposited my 100 dollar bill but I wanted to make time so I decided to just go to Starbucks and pay with the bill. Bad move as it turns out. After ordering I handed the girl the bill and she looked at it as if she had never seen one. She wheeled around and said to another gal I dont have the change for this. Was told by her it was "too early" (they open at 5) to have that kind of money. I laughed and said seriously? You dont start the day off with change of $100 or whatever in your register? She asked if I could put it on my cr card. I stepped aside to actually check my balance but I said screw it and re-entered the line now 3 people behind and paid for just coffee with the 3 loose dollars I did have. I wasn't asked what type of coffee by another gal who just gave me the Pikes. Ok no biggie I can drink anything as I have often said with alcohol. I now take the cup over to the cream and sugar station and they have an empty 1/2 and 1/2 so I just new this wasn't going to be a good day LOL and true to that when I did get to the dealership I lined up behind a car that was dropped off with no keys and got boxed in. After my 1 hour tops service appointment got stretched to 2 hrs I was ready to start drinking.. way before lunch ..c'est la vie. read more
