I went through the drive thru and asked about an order because i accidentally ordered it at the wrong location and the other place was very nice but when i got to the drive thru and right off the bat the lady at the window was very rude. And then i proceeded to come in while my friends stayed in the car and got the drive thru orders so I could get my drink. And I stood there for a while before anyone greeted me or anything. I would've left 2 stars but we got free holiday cups. Our fraps were very weak on the coffee content. Also noticed that the bottom of the cup was filled with whipped cream?! Got through the drive thru pretty quickly though. Paid over $6 for this frap and I'm not that happy with it. Probably wouldn't have gone except for the free holiday cup promotion. Today I was in the drive thru and it took an exceptionally long time for me to get to the window. There were only 5 cars in front of me, one lady even got out of her car to yell at them. Great location being that it's in Dover and locals don't have to drive 45 minutes for real Starbucks anymore. Of course there is the kiosk in the Safeway if you count it, but a kiosk takes away from the experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Starbucks coffee mug for sale that was made in America. I bought it to support Starbucks efforts to buy and stock "Made in America" products. I don't mind paying a little more for my coffee and products if it means Americans have jobs and service workers get living wages. My wife's green tea latte tasted different. The barista explained that the mix was recently changed. She whipped up another drink as a replacement at no charge using the old mix recipe. Ask for the old sweeter recipe if you liked it. The new version is probably better for you since it's not all sugared up. Great service. Unfortunately I don't carry cash anymore and the app doesn't appear to allow tips anymore. We highly recommend this location. Not too hard to get in and out of unless you find yourself in the left northbound lane. I'm sorry, but the service here is not great at all. We ordered two drinks and waited about 15 minutes to receive both of them. Three workers, one of which was the manager, were standing around and handed out a single sample of coffee for their weekly "coffee workshop". It was semi-busy, so more people should have been helping with orders than standing around doing nothing.... Shoutout to Trevor or Tyler though (sorry we didn't catch your name for sure)- he was hustling and very friendly. It's unfortunate that this Starbucks is the only one in Dover that was a drive through. This location is a little out of my way but that didn't stop me from driving to it to get my favorite caffeinated drinks. But, the last few visits have been horrible. I've waited exceptionally long for my coffee in the drive through. My last visit, I waited 15 minutes in the drive through for a banana bread! I've also had the horrible experience of getting my coffee, in the drive through, only to find that my cup is only 2/3 full. However my worst experience recently was being charged twice for the same order and having to speak to them three times about it to explain the issue to get a refund. The manager I spoke to was super sweet however there was a barista who was very rude and showed no customer service skills both times I spoke to her about the issue. The third time I spoke to them there was not a manager or supervisor in the store so one had to be called while I waited to find out that there's nothing they can do and handed me off to the corporate number. I stopped by yesterday around 5:00 pm to get a flat white via the drive thru. There was a fold over sidewalk sign advertising blond coffee in front of the place where you normally order, but there were also 3 cars waiting at the drive thru window. I sat there for a few minutes and said hello a couple of times. Finally, someone said, the drive thru is closed. Really??? I went inside and there was one guy making drinks, one young lady on the register and three others huddled up near the drive thru window. It was so irritating that not one of them thought to walk outside and place a sign so customers would know the drive thru was closed. I wasn't the only one confused by this as I heard the only drink maker tell others that the drive thru was closed. Why was he doing all the work?? Talk about a cluster! Why was there only one person actually making drinks and to add insult to injury, my flat white was only about 3/4 full. I would give this location 4 stars, but they HARDLY EVER HAVE THE ORDER CORRECT for ordering online. The reason to order online is to have the order ready when you get there. Note: I get a basic decaf and there is no reason this is NOT READY. I have personally seen them out others orders ahead of the online orders.
