Tucked away in a very peaceful town of East Greenbush. I started my morning with a short walk followed by a nice hearty amazing complimentary breakfast and then finished with the combination of Green Tea and a walk around the hotel courtyard.... This Starbucks location definitely has a drive thru and a large property for parking anywhere. The customer service in drive thru in the morning around 8:15ish was fast professional and friendly. If you're in town and you're craving the mainstream (usual over the top beverages...but...good professionals customer service) then come on over to this Starbucks! This is the first Starbucks I've ever reviewed in NY. It is the only stand alone Starbucks that I'm aware of the Capital Region. It deserves a review because it can be best described in a number of superlatives. For starters, it is the friendliest Starbucks in the region. We received a warm welcome from the staff as soon as we walked through the door. We were also greeted by the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee. This business has the nicest layout and decor of any locally. The latte is the best. Most Starbucks lattes are a tad bitter. Not here. I ordered a breakfast wrap with egg white, spinach and feta cheese which I also enjoyed. It's easy to see why this may be the busiest Starbucks in the area. The drive thru had a steady stream of breakfast traffic. There was also a number of socially distant customers lined up inside. The wait wasn't very long. read more

I was really in the mood for Starbucks but the North Greenbush location was closed. Fortunately this was still open and I am so happy I drove the extra few minutes. Starbucks reviews are about customers service solely, because all the locations are pretty much the same. I love the East Greenbush location. The employees seem to just enjoy their job, never an eye roll for special requests and everything is always hot. The restaurant is kept clean and stocked. Now let's get to the good stuff, if you haven't tried the cherry mocha you must! There is also counter seating, low tables, cozy chairs, and nice lighting. So thrilled this is now a Starbucks icky, gross KFC. I have been to many locations and of course Starbucks has high quality product and customer service. This location is right on par with all those things and exceed most other locations. Accommodating, helpful, pristine and friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more. They are very knowledgeable about clovers which is helpful. I regularly ask for suggestions and am never disappointed with what they choose. The best part is they don't make you feel like they are answering because it's their job. I will never go to any Starbucks ever again for both political and food reasons. I'm not going to talk politics so I will talk foo. I ordered a chocolate doughnut from here and it was dry and tasted like it was three days old. Also the coffee here is terrible, it tastes weird and not fresh. The employees here are rude and almost always get my order wrong. The price is outrageous and the people that eat here are usually rude hipsters. Overall, Starbucks is awful. read more

The best Starbucks around and a reserve location at that. I usually see the morning crew and they are great. Perfect order Everytime, kind, courteous even before the suns up. My favorite location, I often go out of my way to make it to this location. However I had one bad experience. I was alone in the drive through, my 2 year old in the car. And I was trying to get my order in, I was distracted but the person on the drive through was clearly acting annoyed then dismissed me with a chuckle , and gave me a total, for what I still don't know. I was going to get other things but he apparently decided I was done. I pulled up to the window and told them no thank you, I was not happy with my experience and they could keep the tea(?). I then went to the north greenbush location and got everything I wanted without issue. I'm still giving it 5/5 because 1 out of a hundred great experiences is still really good. read more

I purchased an iced coffee and the bottom of the cup must've had a hole in it because my cup holders and holder under the console were filled with coffee before I even had the chance to look down and catch it. I was able to clean up the mess to an extent before going back through the drive thru and she proceeded to give me another coffee and $8 in rewards for 2 more free coffees. Really? What a joke. She also said she couldn't take garbage through the window. Again...really? After extensively cleaning the car and even taking it to Hoffman's for an interior wash, the car still smells like coffee. Normally I don't have much to say about Starbucks but today is very different. This place was filthy and the service was all but absent. I had to wait five minutes before I was able to get half and half while they emptied trash and read paperwork. The counter and tables were disgusting, while they washed the glass door. An example of how customer oriented they are, is they listen to you the customer. Example: When I first started going there regularly, about 2 years ago, I noticed there were no sun shades in the windows and some days it was blinding. We asked and asked for some shades. Finally, Becky and her regional manager had enough of the customers bugging them and put in shades. How many companies really listen to customer complaints and suggestions. just now I placed an order for Mobile pick up yesterday in the afternoon. I always order from here on my way to work and never have any issues! The weekly morning crew is awesome. Unfortunately I cannot say the About the weekend crew. I have visited here multiple times on the weekends and have had terrible waiting times. Yesterday I picked up one mobile order for an Irish cream cold brew coffee and my receipt time is 1:23 PM and I didn't receive my order until 1:40 PM. I had to ask for someone to check on my mobile order and then the barista started to prepare it. The store wasn't even busy! It was by no means the fault of the Barista, she was brand new. Management should really look into why two staff member on drive through and from what I could see three staff members in the kitchen couldn't help out this poor girl. Kudos to the lovely gentleman who was working with glass who helped her try to get caught up. I understand being busy, but at 1 in the afternoon with three tables of patrons already drinking their coffees and no line at the register, to wait 17 minutes for a mobile order that suggests the time take 4 minutes is disappointing. read more

Usually Starbucks is pretty consistent from one location to another. I do considerable international travel but years ago I lived in EG. Before SB opened in the Capital District! While the drinks here are consistent with other SB, maybe a little better, but that is because of the staff here. So i just had the worst customer experience of my 50 years life today at this store location...i asked for bagged croissants ( left in plastic as they always did before) but they got the order wrong although it was very busy and long line none of that bothered me...i,just wanted to explain what went wrong and the cashier wouldn't listen and shut the window as I was trying to explain ...i asked for the manager when she came to the window she also was reactive actually more then the drive thru attendant and wouldn't even let me speak then as I sit in my car she tells me she can't speak to me as she "feels like ok you're not listening...no...you are supposed to let me talk for a moment and explain the issue but you don't want that because it's busy....no....reported to corporate by me joyfully as I have never been so disrespected in my life...see what real adults do is they listen and at least pretend to care for a moment (not try to play the VICTIM because you don't want deal with this ) and do their job..in other environments you react on the customer you get terminated.....now it is my goal to shed light on the lack of customer quality service here as $26.00 later those employees did what best for them... you see they did put me in my place ....til now...wink wink....#shouldbefired# read more

They made a small mistake with my order the other day (I didn't even mind or say anything) and they gave me a gift-card with enough for a free coffee next time!
