Best Starbucks in the area , line moves quicker than most and drinks come as they should

I am so happy that this location opened. I pass it on my way to work so it is so convenient and wonderful, but of course it is so easy to go that it is now a daily habit! The baristas are wonderful. They know my drink (I'm very simple - dark roast drip with a tiny drop of almond milk) and 99% of the time, it is already made and waiting for me by the time I reach the counter! What service! AND, I am very particular with having the coffee be dark, and they really do put the perfect amount of milk in it. They know me so well! I hate to take off a star, but it's because of the parking lot/drive thru situation. Sometimes the drive thru line is so long, it is difficult to pull into or out of a parking spot. And then you have the people exiting the drive thru, creating traffic with people pulling into or out of the lot. So I try to be strategic with the parking which is hard when in a rush in the morning. So, poor parking lot/drive thru design. Overall, great location and wonderful service!! read more

After reading a glowing review by Sushi Guy, I had to check out this place. A quick, delicious iced decaf latte, hit the spot. It is one Starbucks that offers outdoor seating. Nice to sit outside and chat, while watching the long line of cars by the drive-through. Meanwhile the smart people park their cars and get served inside within a fraction of the time those online do. Just one word of caution: park on the other side of the building away from the drive-through. Not so easy getting out. read more

I have given this location so many chances.....today was the last time. Their coffee frappacino was God awful yet again. It was nothing but ice and milk and a couple of pumps of something that tastes nothing like coffee - my drink tasted of strawberry milk more than coffee. I don't have time to stop and go inside to ask them to remake it again..... I think the stuff they sell in bottles in the grocery store was better than this, (not a compliment)....If other locations can get it right, there isn't any excuse!!! In my opinion this is due to poorly trained staff and cheaping out on ingredients. The employee that made this drink, the employee that trained the person who made this drink and the manager who oversees quality should all be ashamed. Throwing anything into a cup to rush a line is not acceptable. I will no longer waste my time & money. I would not recommend and will not return. read more

Every time I go to the Starbucks when you place an order on the mobile app and you go to the drive-through if you're not there when you get that notification on the app and it says your drinks are ready they will give you an attitude and they'll say it's not quite ready yet, and they sound miserable on this loudspeaker. Even if you get there within the a lot of timeframe, they still give you an attitude. I've gone to this location several times and there's a woman in the drive-through that has zero personality is miserable. It looks like she hates her job. I say please and thank you. Every time I get my coffee and she just hand it to me. Doesn't say a word and roll her eyes. This is horrible service when I'm paying probably double of what a coffee cost at other shops around the area. Also, their drive-through is absolutely insane God forbid that you try to park and get your coffee you can't because of the way out. You have to park across the parking lot walk through traffic to get your drink if you're gonna order inside. read more

FRANK + CAMERON long wait in drivethru line, my wrangler started to tweak out of nowhere AT BEGINNING OF DRIVETHRU. (kill me, very, extremely slowly) tried to reverse into a spot i was next to, but lady in car behind me was raging & refused to let me maneuver out! she didn't care or get i was trying to save everyone before it was too late.. even tho my hazards were hazarding^^^ so instead was forced to drive farther into hell (drivethru) & stall. I think she thought i was doing all this just for the plot. Frank came out & offered to push my car, he happily pushed it thru the whole long drivethru almost all by himself & made an embarrassing & frustrating situation tolerable & offered to jump my car. what a king. Cameron helped push up hill & block traffic from a spot for us to park it in. idk what would have happened if it wasn't for these guys. Amazingggg service, super friendly. 1000/10 asked if i could plsss venmo Frank & wanted to send him $100 he said he couldn't accept money for something like that drivethru NEEDS 2nd lane****emergencies happen unfortunately. what if someone's car caught fire or something way worse, god forbid. ppl refuse to move out the way when they need to. read more

On more than one occasion parts of the orders have been poorly prepared. Very disappointing.

Constantly out of items. Including holiday drinks for days. Manager must be terrible. Then to make matters worse you don't find out until you're at the point of order and the line is always a 20-30 min wait. No way to exit the line either. Absolutely garbage. They need to post they're out of drinks before you get on line and wait 30 mins just to be disappointed and have to buy something you didn't actually want. Go up the block to the next Starbucks. There's one every 5 miles anyway. read more

Don't really know how the East Islip store remotely functions. I mobile order at this location because it's close to my job, but wow...every time I order they are out of nearly everything. You want a Frappuccino? Too bad. You want a refresher? You're outta luck pal. I almost thought it was because of a product shortage, but I can get it at all the other locations. I don't know who is in charge of ordering stock over there or who takes care of setting up, the mobile orders but they should be retrained or hire someone competent. You're better off skipping this location all together and driving to Islip Village or taking a trip out to Bohemia. read more

Went here and the regular drip coffee was so bitter i couldn't drink it, the "barista" rudely asked me what I wanted her to do about it. I was not making a scene and just wanted her to put more sugar in it. It was still undrinkable The coffee at 711 is way better than here. She made me a fresh cup of a different type of coffee and it was just as bad. SO BITTER as if it was sitting there overnight. I give this bad review because the girl was really annoyed by me a Su was just trying to have a cup of coffee that was drinkable. There was no one behind me waiting. Finally a nice blond girl from the drive thru came over and helped me figure out how to send my money on the app as a gift card to a friend. The drive through line gets pretty wild and it's not for a lack of the workers doing there job. I pulled up and the line was probably about 10 cars from where you order. I decided to use the Starbucks app and Mobil order. As I waited outside there had to be another 15 cars get online. Within a couple minutes of ordering I went inside and my order was ready for pick up. The inside of the location is not very busy and my drinks where exactly what I was expecting. I might be bias bc I work here but even before I worked here I loved this Starbucks! I never really had a problem coming here before I started working! Everyone I've interacted with was super nice and always seeming to find something to compliment me on to make my day better. Now that I do work here I can say that every single person in this place has the biggest heart. Everytime I come here they never have what I want, service is very slow I asked if they had the tea flavors they didn't she changed for for two teas when I originally wanted one... the screen is broken so I couldn't even tell her to remove the tea so unhappy. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks. I just started working on the south shore and often have long work breaks, and I go out of my way (drive last other Starbucks) just to come here. The baristas are always kind and happy to help. The store is very clean and up to date. I love the ambiance, there's a great amount of seating. 10/10 for this Starbucks, I'll be back... probably tomorrow. read more

The inside is a complete mess -- I waited 15 minutes for my coffee before I finally approached the counter asking where it was and they had it sitting on a counter in the back and didn't even apologize for the wait or for getting it mixed up with a completely different order. I usually go through the drive thru here, however the 2 times that I did go inside I was forgotten about and my drink never got made until I said something. I realized something was wrong when the two people that ordered after me got their drinks before me, and I was already standing there for 20 minutes.
