One of my favorite Long Island business success stories. I love products as well as the convenience of ordering on the app or at the in store Kiosk. This particular YAAAS TEA in Hauppauge is my favorite. If I had an early lunch and want something to hold me until dinner while driving home, the store is right off the Long Island Expressway. I'm diving into Bobo in just a few minutes! Speaking of Bobo, every hour they make their Bobo fresh. What does that mean? After you have YAAAS Tea a few times, you know its the best. I went to another chain in New York City and their bobo pieces were broken? I said never again, I will only go to Yaaas. And the flavors slay! Yaaas Tea opened their third location this past Tuesday in Hauppauge! I am thrilled that they are here since it's more accessible for me (maybe that is dangerous on second thought). You can order your drinks / cake via the self-serving kiosks or from the employee at the counter. We decided to order an oreo boxed cake, mango milk tea, and hot cloud latte. I aways come to this plaza for the Hurricane Grill and Wings so long behold the newest addition to this shopping plaza is a bubble tea place called Yaaas Tea. I love bubble tea so of course I had to try it! I went in and marveled at the city-like vibe with the nice lights amidst the backdrop of a suburban plaza. I placed my order via the available kiosk and then waited for the drinks to be made. I went in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend so it was quite busy but I did get the drinks within 10 minutes or so. I ordered two boba milk teas and one Thai iced tea. Presentation of the drinks was nice - the cups were a more hard plastic and lid with the plastic seal at the top. Since I ordered three drinks, they were neatly placed in a hefty paper bag with a cup holder. The drinks themselves were pretty rich in milkiness and flavor. The milk tea and the boba were pretty sweet so one of the two had 0 sugar while the other had 75% sugar - the boba did its job with it being a sweetener so less sugar is necessary unless you really want the sugar. The Thai tea was also good and not too too overpowering though the milk was also a bit heavy. read more

When they first opened it was great. Not so much now. Service is horrible. Actually went to one recently. I was told they do not take cash. I said well the tip jar contains cash. The guy was just lazy. Also music was playing in the backgorund with inappropriate words. The guy also said things about me in Spanish to a coworker. Not knowing I am half Puerto Rican and Spanish is my first language. So by appearance assumption, he thought I was a different race. Which should not matter. I am a paying customer. Would I go back again. NO. Going to other places that carry bubble tea. Or will stick with Dunkin Doughnuts or Starbucks. At least customer service and courtesy matters there. I am so happy that Yaaas Tea opened up their third location, which is so much closer to me. I visited Yaaas Tea several times and got to try out multiple items. Ive tried Taro Milk Tea with Boba, Thai Milk Tea with Boba, Iced Cafe Latte BOBO, Brown Sugar Bobo Out of all what I've tried, the Taro Milk Tea has been my favorite. But all their drinks have been delicious and consistent. Their boba really stands out because they are so soft and chewy and sweet. I had a chance to try out their Oreo Box Cake which was soft and not overly sweet (which is a compliment!!). It does feel pricey but it is alot of cake in one box, it definitely was worth it. Obsessed is an understatement; I'm addicted to Yaaas Tea! Many of my friends have been raving about this place, so I was naturally very excited to give it a try. I LOVE bubble tea/boba tea of all sorts, fruity, milky, iced, hot, all of it! Ordering on the machine made it super easy and I felt less pressure to spew out my order like a pro. I opted for a Thai Tea with oat milk, boba, and 75% sugar during my first visit. My next visits, I ordered the same thing but with 50% sugar. Each time, I was given an incredible drink that was quickly and efficiently made. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. I went to celebrate the grand-opening of the third location of YAAAS Tea. The place was absolutely popping. I am not familiar with the area, so it was a little struggle with the parking during lunch time because I didn't realize there was a big lot in the back and a staircase that allow you to cut through to the front. The store size is about as big as the Farmingdale location, I would say, and there's more seating right outside of the store in the center of the strip mall. I got a caramel creme brulee Bobo, absolutely delicious with the perfect chew and smoky caramel flavor. My brother and mom got the brown sugar Bobo, delicious and milky as always. My dad had the regular milk tea, not too sweet but smooth flavor. I didn't get any of the cakes this time, but they look vibrant and fresh like they are at the other locations. It's a great location and a great store to visit when you are out east. It's very exciting to see that quality bubble tea shops like YAAAS Tea are venturing out to Suffolk so that people no longer have to drive to Queens to find nice bubble tea. read more

I really liked that there's an option to use the self-serve kiosks for ordering. They were easy to order and pay on. The service was quick as well. Since you're wondering... I've been to this location more than several times since they've opened and each time has been a great experience. The decor is very trendy, it's very clean, and everyone is friendly. I really enjoy being able to order on the kiosk, which is really easy to use and understand. I am new to boba so I really enjoy the fact that they have an array of options to meet everyones tastebud needs. I typically order the Strawberry Lemonade with lychee and mango popping. This drink is an experience! It's very refreshing and flavorful. My only complaint is that I drink it too fast!!! I also loveeee the cups they use, they fit in my car's cup holder, are slender so they're easy to hold and have a small cap to cover the drinking hole attached to the top if needed. Yaaas Tea at the Motor Parkway Plaza! This is the third location (Farmingdale and Huntington) for this brand and it is becoming quite a force to be reckoned with in terms of bubble tea on Long Island, They had won the Best of LI for 2023 I recently found out. That is quite an achievement for small businesses on the island and is well deserved. This location is literally in the heart of the Motor Parkway Plaza. During peak times for lunch and dinner the parking nearest the entrance is super busy but there is more parking to the side and behind the other businesses ( there is an entrance into the plaza via a backstair case). This location is not as big as Huntington nor Farmingdale as there is no indoor seating. But there is seating outside which is perfect when the weather is agreeable. This location seems more like a grab and go which is actually very convenient. By now anyone who has visited any Yaaas location is familiar with the very convenient ordering kiosks situated at strategic locations when you enter. The one noticeable difference for this third store is when you enter the display case is right there and they usually have it stocked with some delicious jar cakes or freshly made cream puffs. I think it was definitely a great idea as a lot of their desserts pair very well with the teas they offer, In the other two locations the display case is toward the rear of the store. The opening day was crazy busy with a line out the door. But the staff here seemed very up to the task as it seemed each order was made in a timely manner. People were of course waiting around but the wait was not too bad considering the place was packed out to the point where they had to limit the customers right before closing time. The employees are polite, courteous and helpful even when it is super busy. The same level of quality you know from the flagship Farmingdale location and Huntington location is here. It is very evident that the management and owners do an excellent job with training and vetting the employees at each store as their is always a consistent level of quality regardless of the location. I am happy that they moved into Happauge so the community there can experience why Yaaas has been voted the best bubble tea on Long Island three years in a row. All the boba is made fresh and their brown sugar bobo is still one of the signature flavors I always need to order. Check out what is new in the display case when you visit and if you are lucky you may even get to chat with the owner as she works with the employees whenever she is at that location. read more

Great first experience at Yaaas Tea and great first time having milk tea and boba! The Hauppauge location is very conveniently located right off the LIE. The inside of the store is clearly newly renovated and designed well. They have modern, very easy to use kiosks in addition to traditional cashiers who are very friendly. You can also order ahead, who doesn't love that? The ordering process allows for so many customizations and I particularly appreciated getting to choose the percent sweetness. I also loved that the default milk option is organic. I ordered a Thai Milk Tea with Boba. The desserts looked especially tempting but I passed on them due to an abundance of sweets lately. I am sure they are great though! My milk tea was handed to me VERY quickly by another very friendly employee. My drink tasted phenomenal. It comes in one size and I could only drink about 1/3 of it!
