Totally bummed because I've been having one bad experience after another here lately. Three days in a row I attempted the drive thru and my orders were wrong each time. The first time I was given some sort of delicious chai drink but I ordered a venti bold, the next time I was given a black coffee when I asked for soy and the third time given a regular pike when I asked for decaf. I thought I was being punk'd. Anyways I went again this morning and my coffee was given to me and it was cool. I think when I ordered it via drive thru it was made and since there was a long line they had it just sitting there. Not good. Too many mistakes in such a short amount of time. Also came in two weeks ago to get some studying done and the place was a mess. Wrappers, cups, garbage thrown about everywhere as if there wasn't anybody maintaining the area. The couches have seen better days. They have a musty smell and have a lot of milk residue and crumbs imbedded into them. Bleh! When all is said and done however, there's nothing better than Starbucks when they get your order RIGHT, therefore I will continue coming here more than a healthy amount of times per day. read more

Drive thru is much faster than going inside...the staff inside isn't the happiest/most accommodating so drive thru is definitely your best option. Decent coffee but with so many options in the area, I would rather go elsewhere. The convenience factor of not having to get out of my car is the biggest thing this Starbucks has going for it. My wife and I stopped at this Starbucks on the way back from shopping. We ordered a chai latte and a caramel frappuccino from the drive thru. The person that took my order said they didn't have my caramel frap so I changed it to an iced caramel macchiato. When we got up to the window the lady apologize for not having the chai latte. She asked if my wife would like to switch to a different drink and she wouldn't charge her for it. So my wife changed it to a vanilla latte. When I went to pay for my drink, she said no it's on us. I have to admit that although I like coffee and their coffee is fine, I am not a coffee snob, so my spacial rating is: 2 stars for the food, and 100 stars for the service. For a long time I resisted going to Starbucks because I've been concerned about mom & pop businesses closing shop in my area and I try to direct my business to the indie food service purveyors. I recently began coming here for a change of pace when working on my computer since they offer free WiFi, and I have to admit that it's grown on me. I do wish they had more food options, and that what they do have were better quality. I've found some of the dessert breads and muffins to be sort of day-old tasting, and it would be great if they made a few fresh salads (a la Panera, another chain I've resisted) rather than the pre-packaged ones they sell which are sort of regular and pre-packaged tasting. I know, it's a coffee place, but I say if you're gonna bother selling it, make it an excellent experience for the customer, and not offer the same stuff 7-Eleven is selling (and for less). The place has a very pleasant atmosphere and free WiFi, but their real claim to fame--and the reason I am writing this review--is the staff. I've been coming often, and I have to say that every single staff member I've dealt with has been nothing short of outstanding. The smiles, attentiveness, and desire to service each customer are genuine and striking, and it will keep me coming back regularly. I don't know what Starbucks is doing to get such great service-oriented and genuinely friendly people to work here, but whatever it is, these people make the entire experience for me, so keep it up! I don't know if store management reads these, but this is one of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to as far as customer service. I just stood online...the ONLY customer online...for almost 3 minutes without ANY ACKNOWLEDGMENT from staff WHATSOEVER. Sorry for the caps , I'm . There were 6 employees walking around behind the counter. Finally a worker named Donna walked over to take my order. She takes my order, mumbling the whole time about how much she wanted to go home, and finally she gets my cup of coffee ( all I wanted was a cup of coffee...nothing exotic). THEN, to top it off, she leaves the cup sitting at the BACK of the counter so I have to reach across to get it. What a miserable POS. The most beautiful Starbucks I have ever walked into. I notice that there was a drive-thru which looked a little crowded (either way, drive-thru always wins points in my book), so I ventured inside, and the Starbucks heavens opened up and angels began to sing. I want to give a better review for this location but I have had so many bad experiences that unfortunately I can't give more than 2 stars. The positive: the baristas here generally are friendly and the location is large inside with ample seating but that's about it. The negative: they are always excruciatingly slow here. I have done both drive thru and ordered inside but they are really slow with both. I have been inside with only one other person ahead of me and still waited 10 minutes to receive my drink. I have been the only one in the drive thru while the inside was also not busy and also waited 10 minutes. They have messed up my order multiple times and my soy lattes often taste watery. I have given them many chances but I have decided to spend my money elsewhere. It's too bad because this one is very convenient to where I currently live but I'm tired of wasting my money and time at this location. read more

So I bought a peppermint mocha and a coffee... understanding when I ordered that I would receive a free one. Well, the young lady at the drive through was terribly rude and unaware of the offer. I've been coming to this location for years, not because it's the most convenient for me, but because of the staff. Super friendly and awesomely quick. I use the mobile ordering app, and my drink is always waiting when I arrive, which is a plus since the drive through always has a line of cars, and I get to skip the short line inside. I'd give 5 stars, except the parking situation isn't great due to a long, narrow lot, and the sitting area isn't as comfortable as other locations. It's Starbucks. You either love it or you hate it. I for one absolutely love it. Most coffee places don't offer the flavor of the Starbucks brand. Yes, it's pricey but what isn't these days. The staff is always courteous and I go there so often then know me and how I like my coffee. If there's an error in how the coffee was prepared they usually give me a new one on the house. The snacks are good too. Always fresh and healthy. I rarely eat pastry but my children love it. They have their Starbucks favorites. Iced lemon pound cake and the cake pops are always a big hit. If you like strong coffee then this is the place for you. They do offer the blonde and medium roast for those who prefer it not quite as bold. I'm hooked. read more

Inside, the store is clean and appears to be well maintained. Lines can be long at times. Parking is ample and the lot is well lit. Location is convenient. I like this Starbucks because it's bigger than the one down Jericho Tpke in Commack. There are lots of tables/chairs to sit and enjoy your coffee and or treats at. The only downside is is that it can be quite scary pulling out of the parking lot if you're making a left turn onto Jericho Tpke. They also have a drive thru. read more

However, I have been coming to this location for about a month now, and almost every time I have coffee grounds in my iced coffee! It is very frustrating.
