This a nice new Starbucks featuring a drive thru, a walk up window, and a inside seating area, but they really need to make sure when they make an espresso based drink that they are smoother than they put out. The Venti Americano that I ordered had a harsh finish which made it unpleasant to drink black. I had to add quite a bit of whole milk to mellow out. They are either over extracting or under extracting the espresso. They need to test what they extract more often. The servers and baristas were all very nice and upbeat at this new location. read more

Today 8/11/23 I decided to spend some of my hard earned money on a Starbucks treat before work. I was very excited as it had been months since I'd been able to get Starbucks. This location recently under went renovations so I was excited to see how it worked out. I placed my order at the speaker and the worker was very unfamiliar with the menu. Okay maybe they're new . I pull up to the window after waiting behind a car, normal, and the worker has to ask me to repeat my order three times, I was confused having already given and confirmed my order at the speaker. Again whatever maybe they're new. I get my drink a tall chocolate cookie crumbl, it's not even filled up all the way, so almost $6 bucks and they can't make sure the correct amount is in the cup? I bring it to the workers attention they say oh it's the whipped cream (?) okay? Then the automatic windows shut. I see the worker turn to her co worker and make a comment about the question I asked about the drink not being filled all the way, to confirm my suspicions the other worker looks at me and starts laughing. The windows re open I let them know I do not think the situation and or comment were very funny. This really irritates me as I like most Starbucks customers and workers, work hard for my money. To spend part of my budget on something that ended up smaller than it should have been and really not tasting very good at all (chocolate water). It's very upsetting but the worst part is being laughed at, in my face. I am not sure I'll be returning to any Starbucks if this is the new normal. read more

New Starbucks location in El Cajon! And it has a drive thru! And I'll still send that "so much traffic, I'll be at work as soon as I can" as I'm waiting in the Starbucks line text :) This new location is super clean, well stocked, has plenty of ingredients to make all your favorite drinks and the service is above and beyond. I came in to get my tik tok famous iced coffee and it was made to perfection. This staff is ready to make your caffeinated heart happy. The girl who took my order, wonderful. Friendly and happy to be there. Daniel, the barista who made my drink, super positive attitude. I mentioned to him that this new location was super close to my house and he said he was happy to have us as regular customers. The drive thru is not open yet, but they let me know they are shooting for Monday 6/28. Come check out the new Starbucks location in the neighborhood. read more

This is their "lavender" I ordered it without oat milk and sweet cream instead. There was a tint of purple and matcha not mixed and overall disappointing. I'll go back to my normal Starbucks that never disappoints. Good thing I'm not allergic to oat milk I just don't like the flavor!!! do better an 8 dollar drink should look the same from every Starbucks's. read more

I recently started coming to this location on my way to work and I have to say that in comparison to a lot of other locations in San Diego they by far have the best customer service. They even noticed I have been a return customer put a cute sticker on my drink today. I've never seen another Starbucks do that. The small gestures count! Everyone I have encountered has been very sweet, they always look up and greet you when you walk in and when you leave. It also doesn't hurt that my food is always hot, and my drink always tastes exactly how it should. Definitely worth stopping at this location if your in the area. read more

Thank you all so much I can't tell you how much that meant to me a few months back when my work truck decided to cut out in your drive thru. I appreciated the amazing service and how nice everyone was. So so embarrassing to have my work truck decide to dump the battery while in the middle of the morning rush, and the staff came out and we pushed the truck into the closest open parking spot. Then you guys brought me my coffee for free while I was on the phone with my boss. Wow. Just wow! Thank you all so very much it was more than kind. It meant so much to me, especially because there was no way I could've possibly pushed the truck myself. You guys were so quick to take action and I know it was terrible timing but thank you for going way beyond, I felt so bad, putting your crew in the situation to have to help me. But we did it. So I visited this location only because it was open when I needed it. Still serving a cup of ice with very little else in it. So much so I couldn't get my straw in. My biggest issue pay attention it's huge for you too. The lady stocking the treat display. Opening the packages and putting in the breads and cake pops, licking the crumbs off her fingers in between each treat she places. I looked straight at her and she sheepishly waved. This location is finally opened the exterior is clean and nicely put together. They have listed on a board two drinks promoted which I ordered both of them however I was bummed that they were out of their new strawberry foam which it was only 11am. All the drinks I ordered where perfectly made tasted great and refreshing I even felt generous and paid for car behind me. Great job!!! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STARBUCKS!!! On multiple occasions they don't fill the cup all the way up! And they spilled all over the cup! The least they can do is fill it up to the top !!! It's sad because they really are ripping off their customers, this is a five dollar drink and they can't even keep the cup clean and fill it up the right way. My new favorite Starbucks-- I actually drive past my nearest Starbucks (the other one on 2nd) to get to this one! They have always been so friendly and the service is generally quick but my favorite part is the window for mobile orders. I downloaded the Starbucks app specifically because of/for this location. Now, whenever I am out running errands and want some coffee, I order it on the app, park in the lot (always spots open) walk 5-10 feet to the window, and am handed my coffee. I've NEVER had to wait for it at the mobile window and no longer have to wait in the long drive thru line. Love this location! read more

Didn't even get the drink that I paid over $8 for because @ that point I just said give me something... like anything sweet.
