I love this place. These guys always give me a home away from home. The menu is easy to read. I've never gotten anything but the best service here. I don't know why you would go anywhere else. I'm telling you right now every time they make me a drink it's the best I've ever had. The parking is easy. The location has great seating and these people are nothing but friendly and helpful if you're smart though, use the app because you get a lot of rewards and one thing Starbucks is done they've created an amazing rewards program and we all know things aren't getting any cheaper so if you're looking to save a little money and get a little bonus this is the way you do it. Wow, been coming here for years when stopping by LAX so I can't believe I haven't left a review. It's in such a convenient spot 5 minutes from LAX. It's a relatively large Starbucks with lots of seating inside and out. On this visit, all the furniture is new and it is highly upgraded as seen in some of the pictures. I normally order on the app when I'm 5 minutes away and my drink is usually getting made when I arrive so it's nice and hot. I also get a warmed up chocolate croissant to start my day right and it's nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. read more

Greta location and calm. I really like the staff, too. However...Absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic. A customer was sitting in the seating area aggressively coughing and openly using the tables to chop up raw produce and mix together a meal of chicken, canned tuna, olives, and raw tomatoes with their bare hands. It is extremely disappointing to see a complete lack of food safety enforcement or staff intervention. This creates a massive health hazard for everyone in the cafe. Today was a very busy day. They had heavy traffic of people because the hotwheels tour was today and despite that they were efficient and greeted guests. Nathan was the manager on staff and it was only him and female from what I could see. Nathan was making drinks and handing out drink and he would help his staff with a smile everytime. I really like this Starbucks for a number of reasons. The location is excellent on the way to LAX before you hit the dreaded tunnel. It has a large patio seating area and is open later. There's a Jersey Mike's next to it and a Ralphs in the same shopping center. Service a great and it's in exciting El Segundo. Highly recommended. read more

You can also sit along the long patio archway lined with cherry blossoms. Granted, your view is either the cars on PCH or Ralph's parking lot, but even with the surrounding background noise, you can enjoy this small slice of serendipity. As for the service, the workers have always been friendly and attentive. This location does NOT have a drive-thru (which is a good thing), and the staff seems relaxed and always willing to play along with random names I give them. I've used "Batman," "Spiderman," and "Ricky Bobby," and the staff obliged my humorous indulgence without missing a beat. The single gender-neutral bathroom has a keypad door lock. The code is usually the zip code (90245), but it varies. I hate keypads on the bathroom doors like the rest of us, but it maintains a cleaner facility, and the staff is always friendly when you ask for the code. This location is no longer open 24 hours, but it is open 4:00 AM--10:00 PM every day. It used to be open 24 hours before the pandemic. This is probably not the absolute best Starbucks you've ever been to. I'm not sure why this Starbucks has a low rating, it's definitely not reflective of the experience here. This location easily deserves 5 stars. The ambience is great, and the drinks are just as good! My parents ask me to bring something home every other day! Since the first day I started coming here, I haven't had a single bad experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and always helpful, especially when you're unsure what to order. One time, a young lady suggested the flat white for my mom, and now it's her favorite drink. Stopped by this Starbucks for the first time looking for a little pick me up for my drive. I tried the new Oleato Iced Shaken Espresso which is infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil and always made with oat milk okurrr. At first I was like olive oil sounds weird but always love to try when they have new items and I'm so glad I did because it was delicious! The flavor is interesting, different, yet familiar. I got a grande (includes 3 shots of espresso) and ooooo I was energized!! I normally like getting venti drinks because addiction, but grande was more than enough. I stopped by here this early morning as I was waiting for a friend to come into LAX from Japan. I have always liked this Starbucks since the first time I ever came here. Pretty much every time I entered here, the employees have always greeted me. This restaurant, including the restroom, is always clean. Little bit of seating inside and even more outside if the weather is good, which it usually is. I didn't realize until today that it's been since end 2022 since I reviewed them. Today, I ordered a tall blonde roast with milk and cinnamon powder. I also ordered a spinach and feta wrap. Everything just hit the spot! I also was able to take advantage of my free refill on my coffee since I had been there a bit. I interacted with a couple customers while here. People around here seem so nice! The coolest part of my morning here today while watching my church service online, I saw John Legend walk in with his kids, order, wait, and leave. It was just cool knowing I was about 2 feet away from him when he entered and exited. He seems like a cool guy and dad! Used to be my favorite Starbucks, but over this last year it's really gone...downhill...to put it nicely. "Management" is an absolute joke, single-handedly ran this place into the ground & seems like 99% of the baristas I loved felt the same because they're all gone. Every order has been wrong (& my order is about as simple as it gets), always takes an absurd amount of time & the manager is incredibly rude & unhelpful to both the customers as well as her staff. Such a shame. Despite it being a convenient location for me, it's genuinely not worth the hassle it's become. The other two locations in El Segundo are run far better, I'd recommend trying those if they're open (not open as late, but it's worth going when they are just to avoid this one) or Two Guns Espresso on Main St. instead. read more

This is a No Frills Starbucks but in a really nice area. One of the workers, Angel was really friendly and helpful. I'll be back to say hi!

First I will start by saying, I am not sure if this is ALESSANDRA's normal behavior or an isolated incident but she should not be working in customer service if this is how she treats everyone. 1. While taking my order she starts having a full on conversation (unrelated to work) with her co worker. So I stopped talking and waited for her to finish. Then I repeated my order for the 3rd time. 2. After taking my order she turns to the co worker and says "I don't know why people order this drink, they're paying so much extra just for an added drizzle".... Instead of saying this to the co worker she could have told me the cheaper way to order the drink like any good person would. The drink was for my co worker so I ordered it as she told me, so how would I know? 3. After getting the drink, I waited for the croissant. Once it was ready, ALESSANDRA huffs and puffs out loud because she had to take 7 steps to bring it to me. I'm truly disgusted by this behavior. I did absolutely nothing to deserve this. If this is her normal behavior, she should consider doing work that doesn't involve talking to people. If this is an isolated situation, she should learn how to separate her personal life from work. You never know what other people have going on in their life, so always BE KIND. This is not only a reminder for ALESSANDRA, but for all of us. read more

This location is always so messy. All the trash cans are always overflowing and the orders take a really really long time while the employees are just standing around talking or on their phones. They also seem to run out of non dairy milks and they go to Ralph to grab some which totally changes the flavor of the drink as its a different brand and not what Starbucks used. This was my first time visiting this Starbucks. We selected it because it was by the hotel that we were staying at. This Starbucks location does not have a drive thru. It is very spacious on the inside. I found the location to be pretty busy, but it was clean and the line moved quickly. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted, but the barista was very patient with us and gave us some pretty good suggestions. The customer service here was some of the best that I have received at Starbucks in some time. If I am ever in the area again, I will go back. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 29/100 Fast forward a year and a half later, I was gifted with a $25 gift card for Starbucks. So, I dragged a colleague with me to get some breakfast drinks and grub. Like the last time, the place was crowded! Luckily, there was only one person ahead of us. We got each a drink, and to burn the rest of the gift card funding, we got 2 orders of the bacon gouda egg sandwich, 2 orders of the bacon and gruyere sous vide, and a cheese Danish. Bacon, gouda and egg sammich: Ugh. They couldn't even be bothered to at least make it look attractive (see attached picture.) And it did NOT taste good. Bacon and Gruyere Sous Vide: Bleh. Each bite broke down in my mouth like SAND. Cheese Danish: seriously, store bought cheese Danish are way tastier than this! The nerve of them charging that much for this crap. Pre-prepped and microwaved?! Just... NO. What a waste of a S*Bux gift card. I'd most likely stay away from breakfast stuff. Scratch that, I'd most likely stay away from any of their food offerings. The horrible taste of everything I got has inadvertently averted me from ordering anything but drinks from now on! They really were that nasty. YIKES! But! Drinks and service are still decent. They all moved pretty quickly considering the crowd. At least they're still great in that aspect... Might take another year and half for a return visit. read more

Who reviews or even looks at reviews for a Starbucks location? I don't normally. You go in and out to get a quick coffee and you don't care about reviews. But my experience today was so terrible that I had to write this. I lined up in the only line to order and was next when I got there. There was another customer who came in from the other side about 3 minutes after. The cashier called him to order even though he did not stand in line behind me supposedly. So, I said that I am next in line. He was nice enough to say that he wasn't aware that I was in line (duh?, right). So, I told him I made this comment to the cashier who should know that I was next in line. After all, I had been waiting for 3 minutes. They didn't apologize. Not a problem. Next I got called and placed an order. That person who just ordered said he's sorry again for cutting the line accidentally. I told him not to worry about it. Out of a sudden, this worker just shouted angrily to me to stop talking about the incident. I reported this incident to corporate because it seems like other people have made the same comments about how rude the employees are in this location. read more

Not my favorite Starbuck's. Has a strange shape inside, ends up in a triangle at the back with a few tables stuffed in. Perfect location is walking distance to work. I like to get my coffee energy before starting work. However, service is slow, employees don't greet customers before taking order. This Starbucks is a little small, but I like it. I don't usually hang around in Starbucks anyway. I usually just get my drink and leave. The staff here are friendly. And they are pretty quick. Although, this place gets a little busy. Sometimes there's a line out the door. But.. don't worry. It's because the place is small. There are only 7-8 people in line. Parking is okay.
