This is a small-ish, relatively outdoors coffee shop in Manhattan Village, located in Manhattan Beach. The menu is large with some Asian fusion options, which I always appreciate. You'll find some (rather skinny) breakfast burritos and pastries, too. I love a good Nutella Latte, so I had to try it. Not sure I tasted a strong hazelnut flavor, but I did enjoy my drink. My date had the Tiramisu Cold Brew, which he unfortunately did not enjoy. We took it home and propped it up with some oatmilk - but the cold brew taste just didn't seem to jive well with the tiramisu flavor. Prices are on the higher end, but comparable to other places in Manhattan, Redondo or Torrance. Service was pleasant and efficient. Though a line formed behind us, it moved quite quickly. Reborn is in the same area as Joey's, Alo, California Pizza Kitchen, Saint & Second, and some retailers. My daughter is more of a coffee person and sticks with her usual: vanilla latte with caramel and cinnamon, and sometimes she'll add a cream top depending on her mood. Both of us have been happy with our drinks. Customer service has been solid on each visit, and service is fast, which I always appreciate. It was a bit difficult navigating to find this coffee shop, it is tucked away behind the CPK in the manhattan village. Ordered the matcha latte and strawberry milk. Total was around $11. The matcha latte didn't stand out compared to other matcha lattes I have had in the past, but it was not too pricey. However, the strawberry milk was a letdown and not worth the price, according to my sister who ordered the drink. Came back for the Mango Matcha Latte and it was a 10/10! I've been thinking about it since last week. I love that they make the matcha on the spot because a lot of other places use pre made and it just isn't the same as it being made to order. There's a free workout class every Friday for the summer outside in the village (grass area) today was yoga which was so nice and relaxing. The baristas are kind and very helpful, they have a couple different signature coffees to choose from and their coffee is not acidic at all which I love. They also have some pastries. Went to Reborn coffee while walking around the Village. It's in a cute location amongst the other restaurants and offers a nice outdoor patio to do homework/talk. I ordered the hojicha honey latte which I really enjoyed. It has a nutty, roasted taste in comparison to other teas. I think this place does a good job at balancing it out well. Not too sure what I was expecting before ordering the matcha tonic but it was super duper bitter and had a weird aftertaste. My go-to spot for matcha when I'm in Manhattan Beach. It's located in the Manhattan Beach mall outdoor area and they have free wifi. Indoor and outdoor shaded seating available. You order at the counter and then get your order. The house special bagel sandwich is filling and I like that for when I'm feeling hungry. The empanada is more of a snack; I've tried the spinach and cheese and it was fine. The strawberry matcha latte is on the sweet side but it's my favorite. Matcha quality has seriously decreased since opening! I remember going 2024 and getting a matcha cream top and it was great, perfect color and flavor. The past two times I've ordered matcha it has been very weak in flavor and an off light green color. I paid $7.25 for a weak unflavored matcha. Reborn is an upscale, very nice cafe in the Manhattan Beach shopping center. The barista was very friendly and professional and said it's a small chain based in South Korea. Both options are wonderful! Not overly sweet at all. You can taste the strength of the matcha and of the coffee in either drinks. The cocoa is also strong in the Nutella latte which just makes the coffee yummier. The strawberry purée tasted fresh which melted well with the creamy milk. Delicious! This is a small modern coffee shop with chill vibes and has a nice balance of casual and upscaled feel and look. I came in and Gigi helped me out. I was greeted despite both people working being busy. It was nice because it didn't feel like the hello to the universe, but like they even looked at me haha. Sometimes when you walk into a place ot just feels like they say hello to the world because the door opened. Gigi actually walked me through her recommendation by going step by step with me through building a drink haha. It felt very VIP and I was here for it. Service here is definitely 10/10. DRINK: Hot Coconut Mocha Latte with Coconut Milk: This feels like an adventurous drink combo and it was executed very well. The coconut milk has just that interesting coconut flavor and it worked well in this latte. The chocolate comes through and all together it is like drinking an almond joy latte. I think the coconut milk is what really brings it all together. If you like almond joys I would recommend this 1000%. FOOD: Almond Croissant: This is pretty good. It is made off site from a bakery. The almond butter inside is nice and light with still plenty of it inside! The croissant itself is baked very well with that nice and crunchy exterior and somewhat soft interior. I would give this an 8-9/10. Overall, this place is great and I would highly recommend coming here! 5/5! read more
