This is a small-ish, relatively outdoors coffee shop in Manhattan Village, located in Manhattan Beach. The menu is large with some Asian fusion options, which I always appreciate. You'll find some (rather skinny) breakfast burritos and pastries, too. I love a good Nutella Latte, so I had to try it. Not sure I tasted a strong hazelnut flavor, but I did enjoy my drink. My date had the Tiramisu Cold Brew, which he unfortunately did not enjoy. We took it home and propped it up with some oatmilk - but the cold brew taste just didn't seem to jive well with the tiramisu flavor. Prices are on the higher end, but comparable to other places in Manhattan, Redondo or Torrance. Service was pleasant and efficient. Though a line formed behind us, it moved quite quickly. Reborn is in the same area as Joey's, Alo, California Pizza Kitchen, Saint & Second, and some retailers. Free parking is available not far from the location, though it can get busy during peak weekend hours so plan accordingly. read more

I've already been here three times with my daughter, and each visit has been consistently good. I'm a matcha girl and usually order their Blueberry Matcha with a matcha cream top, and I truly enjoy it every time. My daughter is more of a coffee person and sticks with her usual: vanilla latte with caramel and cinnamon, and sometimes she'll add a cream top depending on her mood. Both of us have been happy with our drinks. Customer service has been solid on each visit, and service is fast, which I always appreciate. Came back for the Mango Matcha Latte and it was a 10/10! I've been thinking about it since last week. I love that they make the matcha on the spot because a lot of other places use pre made and it just isn't the same as it being made to order. There's a free workout class every Friday for the summer outside in the village (grass area) today was yoga which was so nice and relaxing. I love grabbing a drink at Reborn after and was so satisfied with my iced mango matcha! The service is always great and fast. I'll likely be back next Friday to try either the strawberry matcha or another coffee drink! read more

Reborn is a coffee shop located in the middle of the Manhattan beach plaza. There is plenty of parking since it is located in the Manhattan Beach village. The baristas are kind and very helpful, they have a couple different signature coffees to choose from and their coffee is not acidic at all which I love. They also have some pastries. It's in a cute location amongst the other restaurants and offers a nice outdoor patio to do homework/talk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the hojicha honey latte which I really enjoyed. It has a nutty, roasted taste in comparison to other teas. I think this place does a good job at balancing it out well. We were honestly disappointed. Not too sure what I was expecting before ordering the matcha tonic but it was super duper bitter and had a weird aftertaste. Maybe it's supposed to taste that way but I threw my drink out after couple sips. The yuzu refresher, they use premade yuzu mixed with honey that you could buy at an Asian market. After dinner at JOEY, we popped in for lattes on Thursday. I ordered the Maple Hojica with almond milk and my friend had the S'mores latte. Each were delightful; a subtle sweetness and good flavor without being overbearing. We enjoyed our drinks and the patient barista who answered all our questions. I ordered an iced vanilla latte + matcha sweet cream. I love how you could add sweet cream on any drink- they also had tiramisu or vanilla sweet cream. Their vanilla is also a house-made syrup. I thought my drink was pretty good, it was smooth & sweet but I would probably order something else next time. I visited on a Sunday morning right after Black Friday, and while it was quite busy, the service was quick and the staff were very friendly. We ordered a black iced coffee and an iced cafe latte with almond milk. The black coffee leaned towards the bitter side, but it satisfied my craving for black coffee. My go-to spot for matcha when I'm in Manhattan Beach. It's located in the Manhattan Beach mall outdoor area and they have free wifi. Indoor and outdoor shaded seating available. You order at the counter and then get your order. The house special bagel sandwich is filling and I like that for when I'm feeling hungry. The empanada is more of a snack; I've tried the spinach and cheese and it was fine. The strawberry matcha latte is on the sweet side but it's my favorite. They have a mango matcha latte too, but that had too much puree so it just tasted like a mango lassi. They have alternative milks like macadamia and almond in addition to whole and 2%. However, matcha has become such a trend these days so it's totally subjective. If you're visiting, I'd say go for the coffee. Reborn is an upscale, very nice cafe in the Manhattan Beach shopping center. The barista was very friendly and professional and said it's a small chain based in South Korea. I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and Guinness beer. The seating area is nice and upscale inside with ample, shaded outdoor seating. This is a great cafe to relax and unwind after a day of shopping at the surrounding mall. Highly recommended. read more

When you're running around the mall in need of caffeine to fuel your shopping spree, Reborn Coffee is an awesome option. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha and an iced Nutella latte. Both options are wonderful! Not overly sweet at all. You can taste the strength of the matcha and of the coffee in either drinks. The cocoa is also strong in the Nutella latte which just makes the coffee yummier. The strawberry purée tasted fresh which melted well with the creamy milk. Delicious! They also seemed to have good pastries but I didn't order them. Will try next time. The baristas were polite and the cafe was clean. Not noisy at all. Very chill vibes. read more

Loved the outdoor seating area. Service was also great. I got the mango matcha latte and unfortunately I didn't think it was very good. Not enough matcha flavor and drink was too sweet (even with less sweet option). There is wifi but no plugs for your electronic devices so if you're going to come here to study, make sure to charge ahead of time. No bathrooms in the cafe but there is one walking distance by the nearby parking structure. read more

This is a small modern coffee shop with chill vibes and has a nice balance of casual and upscaled feel and look. I came in and Gigi helped me out. I was greeted despite both people working being busy. It was nice because it didn't feel like the hello to the universe, but like they even looked at me haha. Sometimes when you walk into a place ot just feels like they say hello to the world because the door opened. Gigi actually walked me through her recommendation by going step by step with me through building a drink haha. It felt very VIP and I was here for it. Service here is definitely 10/10. DRINK: Hot Coconut Mocha Latte with Coconut Milk: This feels like an adventurous drink combo and it was executed very well. The coconut milk has just that interesting coconut flavor and it worked well in this latte. The chocolate comes through and all together it is like drinking an almond joy latte. I think the coconut milk is what really brings it all together. If you like almond joys I would recommend this 1000%. FOOD: Almond Croissant: This is pretty good. It is made off site from a bakery. The almond butter inside is nice and light with still plenty of it inside! The croissant itself is baked very well with that nice and crunchy exterior and somewhat soft interior. I would give this an 8-9/10. Overall, this place is great and I would highly recommend coming here! 5/5! read more

It's not the best hot chocolate I've had good flavor, good consistency, but it could've had something more. I'm not exactly what the more could've been but it was OK.

The food looked just as good as it tasted. The smoked salmon and avocado toast was fresh and perfectly balanced, the spinach breakfast wrap was light but filling, and the yogurt bowl with fresh berries made a great addition to the meal. The coffee was excellent, and the iced matcha was refreshing on a warm day. The atmosphere is bright, relaxed, and perfect for a slow breakfast or brunch near the beach. Even with a full house, the staff stayed organized and never made us feel rushed. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Manhattan Beach.
