An hour of laptop time this morning because I was awake before sunrise and I really don't like driving in the dark if I can avoid it. So I popped into this Starbucks at 6am and I was the only customer in here for a bit though there was a pretty constant parade of people coming and going for their morning caffeine fix. Wifi worked fine and my blonde roast was good with enough cream in it. Power outlet was great and when I left at 7:00, all of my electronics were at 100%. After having my drink made the wrong way at a different Starbucks location, I decided to see if this location could remake it since it was on my way. At the first location, I ordered a Venti peach green tea lemonade with four pumps of classic syrup. They left out the syrup, and I could tell because the drink was super tart. The girl at this location was very nice but when they went to remake my drink they went to take off the sticker and saw that the drink was originally from a different location. They said it was no big deal, and remade it. Once again, the syrup was left out. I'm not even mad that it was made wrong, but if you don't have simple syrup or can't add it into my drink then why not just tell the customer. I wasn't wanting to make a scene and draw attention to myself so I left it as is. read more

Everyone here was wonderful, but they all seemed to be a bit distracted. Perhaps it was just because it was Thanksgiving Eve and minds were on other things, but I was definitely an after thought as my Grande didn't arrive until after additional prompting. Place was not crowded so it wasn't an issue of backup - just an issue of not prioritizing. This Starbucks was absolutely filthy. The lobby floors. The table we sat up had sticky all over. I wiped it down with a napkin it could not get the jobs of sticky off. I sat to visit with my daughter & newborn grandson. It was very hard to sat there with so much filth. I went to the bathroom, the floors looked like they have been wept or mopped in days. The toilet was black with dirt around the top edge , even the sink. Coming out from the bathroom I looked over behind the counter at the work station. Milk, syrup and crumbs everywhere. I understand they get busy and sometimes need to wait after a rush to clean up. But it look like it had not been cleaned in days. read more

I suggest downloading the app and earning points/stars towards drinks, add-ins and pastries. Most Starbucks are small and hard to find a place to sit and relax. Not a big deal, I pointed out the menu board said 16oz and the employee apologized and made my complaint good, but obviously believed that 12 is the new 16!! Workers prioritize drive-thru and online orders over in-store orders. There were three workers present, and we waited 45 minutes for three drinks. Drinks didn't even taste that good. If you're going to set really high prices, then the drink quality and service quality needs to be on par. This place is an embarrassment. read more

I visited this location yesterday, Monday, at approximately 9:30 a.m. The drive-thru line had 8-9 cars in it, so I thought, hey, I'll just go inside and order. There was only one guy ahead of me in line and he placed his order quickly. I then placed my one drink order. The girl was friendly. However, as I sat waiting for my ONE drink, I could see the drive-thru window and saw ALL the cars go through that were in line as I arrived and more cars go through. After 15 minutes waiting, I went up and asked, "Are you guys that far behind, because I placed my order 15 minutes ago right here inside." She said, "Yes, we're pretty far behind. We're working on mobile orders right now and yours and one other are coming up after that" Mind you, while I was there, they were calling out names of those mobile orders for ones to pick up and not ONE of those people were there yet in the store!!! I was always told that retail is supposed to give priority to those who went to the effort to drive there, park their car and come in before taking care of ones who don't. In total, I waited 20 minutes for my drink. The cashier should have informed me when I placed my order that they couldn't keep up and given me the choice to leave. But they don't do that because they KNOW they'll lose your business!!! Well, they've lost mine and anyone I tell. By the way, there were 6 employees that I could see, working at the time. I am from out of town and have come by Starbucks twice this week to get some work done. While I was there I just happen to read the past reviews and I am happy to report that something must have changed recently because I have gotten nothing but excellent customer service. At one point I looked at from what I was doing and noticed that I was sitting beside the manager. We chatted for a a while and she was very pleasant. In regards to refills - I always get two, or three, refills per visit. I have never had any trouble getting a refill no matter what Starbucks I am in. The last time I was in town I frequented the other nearby Starbucks. The service and food at that Starbucks was just as good, however, I would note that the Internet was not as fast at the other one as it is here. read more

This Evansville Starbucks is a few blocks west off I-164 and shoehorned among strip malls on the Lloyd. It has a drive-thru, but is a little difficult to access as one must maneuver between buildings. Service was slow (by Chicago standards) and less friendly than expected for Southern Indiana. Kinda small and wish they had more comfy/lounge chairs than just the one group of 5 where 3 students seemed to be camping out. Overall saw nothing that warrants the current total rating here of only 3 stars. If it's because of crowds, that's possible. We went around 5:45pm on a Wednesday. I waited quite a while before anyone would come out from the back and wait on me. I had to yell, "HELLO?" in order for this to even happen. Then when I asked for a cup of ice to go with my treinta iced tea, they gave me the smallest cup possible (like a mini kiddie cup) without asking me the size of ice cup that I wanted. When I asked for a larger one they gave me only a very slightly larger one. Like there is a shortage of ice?? Customer service could've been much better. This is the Starbucks inside Target. The employees act more like disinterested Target employees rather than interactive Starbucks employees. Who knows? And I bought a gift card but had to swipe and insert my credit card several times before it would work. Never had trouble with the card anywhere else. This is not a review for this particular location, but for the star reward program from the Corporate side. Twice on a row now, for star rewards email promotions I have either: 1. Not been awarded any bonus stars despite the email offer, or... 2. A star code from a purchased bag of coffee at a local store was denied as already having been "redeemed". In each case, when I email'd Starbucks customer service, they rectified the issue and awarded the stars I had earned and were polite in doing so. HOWEVER, this type of issue is recurring with increasing frequency over the past several months. I have now learned to save or screenshot offers as proof when the rewards are not delivered as promised. Remember this is a company as all others. Starbucks does not care about consumers any more than any other company. Just the bottom line. read more

I've been visiting this Starbucks for awhile now. The service and drinks are usually good. However I was treated terribly over the weekend. I have been ordering a pumpkin cream iced coffee for weeks at several locations. I substitute the cold brew for just regular coffee because it's not quite as strong and therefore not as bitter. On Sunday morning I ordered this drink and paid per usual when another barista rudely stated "I will make it for you this time but we won't make it for you again." I asked her politely why Because I've been ordering this for awhile and no one has had an issue. At this point the entire store is looking at me as she started to nearly shout "like I said we won't do it anymore we've been over this, it comes off our counts so this is the last one". I attempted to reach out to Starbucks online but haven't received a response. I don't mind paying for the extra topping or whatever but her attitude wasn't necessary. I asked the barista for the same drink downtown and he was happy to make it. He also stated I could get the pumpkin cream on any drink I'd like. read more

What happened to customer service? We've been drinking Starbucks consistently for like a year now because of their little points card.. We've always gotten free refills back in Hawaii and at this place as well. I've always assumed it was a part of their points program.. I'm at the West side Starbucks a few days ago and the girl at the counter tells us that refills are only available at the window. So, we reluctantly throw out our old cups and buy new drinks. So, we go to this Starbucks last night and pull up to the drive thru for our refill and the gentleman on the speaker says they only do refills if you've actually been sitting inside. Fine.. We pull up to pay another ten fucking dollars and my boyfriend apologizes and asks him to throw away his old cup (the one he was going to use for a refill). The guy told my boyfriend that he can throw it away in a bin outside if he'd like. I never thought I'd say this, but, I'm done with Starbucks. read more
